Should I put pesticide treatment on new sod?

I got new St Augustine grass resodded 3 days ago and it has been raining like crazy which I am happy about. On the care tips by the company who resodded the grass, they said to put pesticide treatment immediately after resodding. I have an appointment on Oct 17 to pesticide the grass which is about 10 days after the install.

Is that common though? I am a little scared it will ruin the grass since it may not even be rooted yet? What do you think?

What are you guys doing to financially prepare for a baby while TTC?

I am in the US and my job does not offer short term disability insurance nor offer paid maternity leave. I do get FMLA but that is not paid for during leave.

I contacted a private short term disability insurance and they cover 4 weeks vaginal and 6 weeks C-section. The benefit coverage is 3 months and 85 dollars a month with a 9 month waiting period. Though, if I were to have a normal, easy delivery with no complications, I would only get 4-6 weeks paid coverage, not 3 months.

Just starting to think I will just have to use sick time and PTO which in total is 4 weeks and just save my own money aside.

I live in Florida and I do not see any state programs for maternity leave. Any suggestions? What are you guys doing to prepare?

How can I prevent the fish tank getting dirty like this?

I do regular water changes every 2-3 weeks but it gets dirty again rather quick. Any way to prevent this? It is kind of hard to tell in the picture but the plants and the back of the tank are covered in brown spots.

Would it be dumb to travel 20 minutes for pictures?

We are getting married at a gazebo with 10 guests, it will be a small ceremony. The surrounding area is okay, its just trees and the gazebo and a small bridge. I am worried our photos will look all the same with the same background since the area just doesn't have enough going on.

I am considering driving 20 minutes to a location that serves more a photogenic look but we only booked the photographer for 2 hours from 2-4 and ceremony at 3. I would lose 20 minutes of photography by travel plus we would only get about 35 minutes of pictures taken at the nice location till we had to leave to the ceremony.

I don't know what to do, I tried to find locations near by but nothing.

Please note: I have never gotten professional pictures before, so I don't know how many pictures can be taken in 35 minutes and if 20 minutes will be a big loss. Any photographers with suggestions?

Best restaurant for small wedding dinner reception recommendations?

Any recommendations for a restaurant with private dining for 13 people? Something nice, it doesn't have to be so upscale.

I have an appointment to resod my front lawn on May 14th but looking at my grass now, it looks like its starting to come back?

Top Pic is today and bottom Pic is 2 weeks ago.

Just trying to save money if I don't have to resod. Any suggestions?

I have a millipede infestation all over my house and driveway. I read that migrate into mulch beds, which I have near my house.

Does anyone know how to get rid of them or if there is a certain mulch to buy that they don't like?

Looking for any recommendations.

Thank you!
