Bro i genuinely cannot make this up

So a few days ago I was talking to this guy on Reddit and he told me he had some sources and apparently he could get me admission into some private uni because I was looking for law colleges 😭

He had compartment in 2 subjects too maths and chemistry and he had 6 subjects overall. At that time he told me he wanted to do BTech and apparently his sources were strong enough that some teacher would get him through maths 💀

We stopped talking after that and then talked again on the day the results came out. He told me he passed and unfortunately I failed my compartment again 😭

Fast forward to TODAY and this man texts me saying he got admission in LLOYD for LAW and is telling me how cool the campus is and everything 😭😭

THE FUNNIEST PART IS HE DIDN’T EVEN KNOW ABOUT LLOYD BEFORE ME 😭 I was literally the one who told him earlier that Lloyd would work for me and that I was considering it

Like bro really took my college suggestion and came back with the admission before me 😭

Life is actually trolling me atp

My academic lore is getting out of hand

I gave my Class 12 exams through NIOS On Demand in August and my result is expected in September. I want to take admission in Amity and one of the counselors told me that admissions are open till 30th October. I am planning to take admission only after my result because after what happened with CBSE I honestly do not trust any board 😭 And if something goes wrong with NIOS then I would be stuck. They are also not giving me provisional admission and even if they do there is no refund which makes me even more unsure.

What do you guys think? My result should come by the end of September so do you think admissions will still be open till then? Has anyone here taken admission around the end of September or knows anything about Amity admissions? Please let me know 😭

Need advice about my Bachelors and law plan

Hey guys I’m really confused about what I should do and I would genuinely appreciate some advice. I gave my NIOS On Demand Exams in August and my result is expected by September. Because my result is not out yet I am not getting provisional admission anywhere and I am really worried about what I should do next.

I originally wanted to pursue Law but now I am stuck because I do not want to waste a whole year just waiting for my NIOS result and then trying to get admission. My friend suggested that I do an online Bachelor’s from Amity University Mumbai for now. She said that since the degree is online I can stay in Mumbai with her and we can explore the city together and I can also attend events at Amity Mumbai. Then after completing my Bachelor’s I can apply for LLB as a regular student and properly pursue Law.

Honestly I am really confused about whether this is a good idea. I do want to experience living away from home and becoming independent and I have always wanted to live in Mumbai. At the same time I am worried about whether doing an online Bachelor’s will affect my future plans for LLB or whether I should just keep trying to find a regular college that will give me provisional admission.

The biggest problem is convincing my parents. If I tell them that I am doing an online degree they will probably say that if I am studying online anyway then I should just stay at home and do it from here. But I really do not want to stay at home for the next few years. I want to move out and experience living independently and explore Mumbai while I study.

So what do you guys think? Should I wait for my NIOS result and keep looking for a regular college or should I do the online Bachelor’s from Amity Mumbai and then pursue LLB as a regular student after graduation? Also if anyone has any idea how I can convince my parents to let me move to Mumbai while doing an online degree please help me 😭 I would really appreciate honest opinions especially from people who have done an online Bachelor’s or know about the LLB route.

Need advice regarding provisional admission after NIOS on demand

Hey guys I’m in a bit of a difficult situation and would really appreciate some advice.

I couldn’t clear my Class 12 compartment exam so I gave my Class 12 exams through NIOS On-Demand instead. My theory exams are over now, and my practicals are also done. I’m expecting my NIOS result by the end of September.

The problem is that I need provisional admission in a private university/college but most colleges I’ve contacted are refusing to give me provisional admission because I don’t have my NIOS marksheet yet. I specifically wanted Amity but they told me that they would have considered provisional admission if I already had my NIOS marksheet but they aren’t offering it in my situation.

I also wanted to ask: Is it true that even if your NIOS On-Demand exams go well, there’s still a chance that you might not pass? I’m obviously hoping I’ll clear it but I’m getting really anxious about the whole situation.

Also do private colleges/universities usually keep admissions open until the end of September? If admissions are still open around that time I’m completely fine with waiting for my NIOS result and taking admission after I receive my marksheet.

If anyone here has gone through something similar or knows a counsellor/admission counsellor at Amity or any other private university who might be willing to consider provisional admission in this situation please share their contact details or let me know how I can approach them.

I genuinely need admission this year so any advice or leads would mean a lot.

Applied for provisional via nios ode

Hey everyone I'm currently appearing for my 12th board exams through NIOS On-Demand Examination (ODE) and wanted to secure a provisional admission at Amity University. I reached out to the Amity admission counselors first to ask if they accept NIOS ODE students and they confirmed that it wouldn't be an issue. They asked me to fill out the online application form using their referral code and specifically instructed me to select the "12th Result Not Declared" option. However my admission portal is now showing my application status as "Incomplete" and is asking me to upload my 12th marksheet before it can move forward. It looks like the system won't process the application to the next stage until that document is submitted. When I informed the counselor about this, he assured me that he would manually get it processed from his end within this week.Has anyone else gone through a similar situation with NIOS ODE at Amity? Is it normal for the portal to stay on "Incomplete" until the backend team manually overrides it for provisional cases

Need urgent advice from seniors regarding NIOS ODE, CBSE Compartment & Provisional Admission

Hey everyone I really need some direct advice from seniors because I’m getting completely conflicting answers everywhere. Basically I gave my CBSE Physics compartment exam but I don't trust the evaluation and am worried I might not pass. To be safe I registered for the NIOS On-Demand Exam (ODE) with TOC for 2 subjects and 3 exams which wrap up by August 12. My problem is getting provisional admission. Galgotias counselors initially told me over the phone that I could get provisional entry with my admit card and an undertaking till October 31 i have to submit my pass marksheet but when I emailed them they backed out saying they need a full 5-subject marksheet first. On the other hand Amity counselors said they can give provisional admission based on my CBSE compartment if I submit the result by October but claimed they don't accept NIOS at all, even though everything online says Amity does accept NIOS. I am so lost right now. Has anyone here actually taken provisional admission through NIOS ODE or CBSE compartment at these colleges? Do they actually accept NIOS marksheets later or will I run into trouble? Any real experiences or clarity would mean the world to me. Thanks!

Is passing the physics compartment exam is actually doable or I'm COOKED?

Got hit with the dreaded compartment in 12tg physics and now I'm sitting here questioning every life choice that brought me to this moment

I just need to know tge reality check from seniors and anyone who had been through this.

Also i have few questions:

The paper which comes in the compartment is more difficult than the main board exam?

Compartment + offer letter = pure delusional

So yeah Physics took me down and I got a compartment in Class 12 💀

The plot twist? I actually received two offer letters from Galgotias one where I uploaded my marksheet and another where my status was marked as "awaited"

I’m heading to the Noida campus on the 29th A couple of seniors told me that since I’m doing an Integrated course they usually just let you sign an undertaking form to hold the seat until compartment results come out Two of my friends even called the admission counselors and they said the exact same thing

Still lowkey stressing out though

Anyone here actually done this before at Galgotias?

Is the undertaking thing legit or am I just coping?

Admission

I spoke to a counselor at Lloyd Law College, and they told me that the B.Com LL.B. seats are almost full. They asked me to pay the ₹1,500 application fee as soon as possible because there are already 4–5 students on the waiting list. They also said that if any admitted student withdraws and a seat becomes available, they'll let me know.

Do you guys think this is genuine? Does Lloyd Law College's B.Com LL.B. program usually fill up this quickly, or is this just something counselors say to encourage students to apply? I'd love to hear from anyone who's studied there or gone through the admission process.
