So it begins!

My humble setup. I'm using what I've got. It's functional. So far I've streamed 3 or 4 nights. No chatters yet but I have some viewers dropping in and out. I set up custom alerts. Not sure what else I can do until I reach 50 followers. Any tips would be appreciated. 😊

Classes feel powerful.

I was playing with one of my parents yesterday, he was lvl 14 and I 16 (primalist and templar) We went and killed Nagas in the north of darkshire. With careful pulling and use of line of sight and general game sense we managed to kill everything we wanted but the named elite at the bottom of the structure un the middle.

I wasn't ready.....

For the insanity that is the in game chat. 10% lfg, 10 % trading 80% unhinged madness and it scrolls faster than a popular streamer chat. I'm not complaining I'm just very impressed at how bad it gets without moderation. Also, what's kox?

This is nice.

I've never really played runescape before. I tried dragonwilds and I absolutely love it. I looked into osrs, having no nostalgia for the franchise for now Rs3 looks more appealing to me. I've got about 15 or 20 hours played so far, I gotta say, this game kinda slaps. Right now I'm focusing on quests and their prerequisites. Chat is kinda dead though. I just subbed for a month, I'm hoping member worlds feel a bit more alive. I'm gonna try to find a clan that should also help. Cheers!

Edit: Thank you all for you warm welcome! Although I haven't replied to everyone I read all your comments.

About character boost..

I respect anyone's decision to go that route but it simply isn't my thing. How likely is it that everyone does it but me (or a small, small, number of ppl) is going to do it? I'm lvl 35, I'm enjoying questing and progressing at my pace. I'm looking forward to getting involved in the end game loop but am I setting myself up for a unreasonably large gap between me and the rest of the player base?

What can I experiment with without hindering myself?

There's a million billion currencies and resources. What should I save for later, what can I use to try stuff out? Can I safely upgrade skills I like? Are those resources hard to replace?

Considering this game, I have questions.

I understand one can whale hard. If I was to enjoy the game and spend 20 or 25 bucks a month, kinda like a sub in another mmo, what would it do for me?

Good evening redditors, I've grown accustomed to this feature on my previous laptop. It's great when gaming. On my new laptop fn + windows won't do anything. Is this function laptop specific rather than a windows feature? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Maybe this more of a windows question than a Legion one but I'llgive it a go here. Like the title says, I can't seem to lock the windows key. Does anyone have a fix for this?
