I mentioned to my mom that I was going to throw a birthday party (small) for my 27th on my rooftop. She asked if she was invited and if she could Come. I literally said no. Lol.

I dunno is it rude of me? My 21 year old sister will be coming and 3 of my cousins around my age but that’s about it. Everyone else will be friends around my age.

Is it appropriate to invite my mother to this or not?

Do 27 year olds throw parties like this and invite their parents?

I have a whole situation on my notes pad and I really don’t know who to vent this too. But if anyone’s willing to listen and give advice. It’s kind of personal so I dont know if that can be shared here as well

I’m having an issue with tipping and the right amount. Usually if it’s a haircut (let’s say $20) I leave a $5 tip. Whatever the 18% is.

I recently had a Brazilian blowout done and I was charged around $370. 18% of that is $66.

Should I leave the $66?

My mother gets her hair colored there and they charge her around $300 as well. She says she leaves a $20 considering the $$ spend on the haircut/color already.

For restaurants we leave +18%. Her argument was that they are working on the clock getting our orders etc lol

With 4 years of experience. I just became an architect a few weeks ago and I have about 3-4 years under my belt.

I had a really odd dream of my uncle who passed away 15 years ago at the age of 30.

In the dream I remember walking up to him and his back was facing me he turns and I felt a joy of nervousness and excitement and I hug him and say “hello! I hope you are doing well! We miss you but I see you’re doing really well and I’m glad to see you healthy” I didn’t say this speaking I said this in my mind and it was recognized that he understood what I said in my dream if that makes sense. I also wasn’t scared (as I usually am when I think about death and dying and ghosts) I also forgot that he died in the dream it just felt like seeing an old friend you haven’t seen in a while but time never really past

He died a very sad death. (Wondering if anyone can pick it up)

Anyway his son (who I hang out with to go out a lot and have grown really close over the last 2 years) texted me later that evening and said “I forgot to tell you guys (in the chat) but I had a great time last weekend and we definitely need to go out more! Thanks for a fun time!”

We are planning on taking him out for his birthday coming soon

I’ll take this as a sign that he appreciates me hanging out with his son? I dunno Lol.

I had a dream of my grandma and cousin who recently passed away and they were at my house sitting on my brother’s bed waiting for my sister. She was packing her things and was annoyed to be leaving with them but she was packing her shoes and clothes.

This dream was a few months back. My sister is alive and well lol so idk what that even was. She wasn’t dying or dead etc she was just leaving with them.

Whenever I have dreams of someone dying actually it means our relationship will change in one form or another. I had a dream my boyfriend at the time died and the next few weeks we broke up and it was awful. Same with another person I knew.

My sister and I didn’t like each other very much but now I love her. She’s going through her early 20s phase but we are now very close and I think it was kind of after that dream. The dream happened in the beginning of the year I think

I wasn’t as close to my uncle but my family suffered greatly from his death and there is a lot of care there. I was only 11 when he passed so I didn’t understand
