Solid battery light
So my 1998 RHD has a solid battery light. Battery connectors are fine. Assuming it's an earth somewhere.
Whereabouts are the earth points on the car?
Thanks

Hi all,
So in my home I have multiple smart devices, broken down as the following:
7 x Amazon Alexa
36 x Smart Bulbs
20 x Smart Plugs
15 x Blink Cameras
4 x Switchbot Buttons
3 x Air Quality Monitors
6 x Smart Smoke/Co2 Alarms
6 x temp sensors
At the moment I am mainly using Alexa to control, but I also have multiple different apps (Govee, Yapo, Smart life, EweLink, Hue, XSense)
I've never gone the home assistant route but I feel i should be.
Should I go down the raspberry pi route with home-automation? My devices are a combination of WiFi and Bluetooth devices. I'm 100% new to it, but not scared of tech (hence all the devices!)

Hi all,
Short and brief.

Asked to travel overseas for work. I suffer with severe anxiety/panic attacks and can't travel. Been in the job 10+ years and have never had to travel (it is in the contract).

Dismissal grounds?
So I'm due to fly out next Monday for a few days for a business trip. My anxiety is high for that already, as I don't like travelling on my own and I have a fear of flying.
My ex just messaged me today asking if she could take our son away for a week (in a few days!). So that added to my anxiety. The short notice, the separation anxiety.
On top of this, I don't trust my ex fully. She is a high functioning alcoholic so I have a worry about her being away with our son. Just the two of them. Whilst I know she wouldn't harm him or anything like that, it's just whether there would be full attention on him to keep him safe (he is a pre-teen, so not a baby).
I'm fully aware that my own thoughts and emotions are controlling my anxiety. Controlling the narrative in my head. But honestly, I don't know what to do to cope with it all
Simple things like does my son being away whilst I'm also away make things better or worse?
Hi all,
Picked up my switch 2 today. I've read a few posts and just want to confirm.
At the moment it seems to use a Google Stadia controller I need to use the 8bitdo adapter 2.
However, I'd rather plug it directly into the console rather than the dock, on USBc to USBc. I've tried it here and doesn't seem to work. Is this a futile exercise?
I have the "pro controller wired communication" option switched on.
I'll be travelling so obviously don't want to bring the dock with me, so what are my options to have a wired controller directly into the switch?
Thanks
I've had panic attacks and anxiety for about 15 years. Nothing too serious but they pop up every now again. The main triggers are travelling usually, but normally travelling with someone.
I now need to travel with work in 2 weeks. Possibly only for 2 nights and I had been someway excited and apprehensive about it. Tonight, within the space of 10 seconds I went form being totally normally to a full on panic attack. I had to jump out of bed and just go somewhere. Currently lying on my couch trying to navigate through it.
I genuinely don't know what I can do. I'm half tempted to quit my job, rather than having to travel. Genuinely id rather take the option.
Hi all,
Can anyone recommend someone they have used for automatic lessons in North Dublin City please? Friend is looking for someone. I only have a manual so can't even give her basic lessons!
It would be for evening's and weekends due to her work commitments
Thanks
Hi everyone, see attached photos. I bought this house over a year ago and I'd love to know what sort of a tree this is. It seems to be a blossom tree, but everything is growing up from the base (as opposed to put from up the trunk if that makes sense?)
There seems to be a mix of very dark leaves and then lighter leaves with a light green/yellow surrounds.
Thanks
