Kindred Rework

A few days ago, the “Bound by Blood” expansion was released on DNDBeyond, adding a new class, “Kindred,” inspired by the vampires from *Vampire: The Masquerade*. I was already hyped when it was announced, and as soon as it was finally released, I bought it right away. Unfortunately, I was a bit disappointed by the class. Even though I thought some aspects of it were really cool, the class felt like it had never been properly tested, and after a one-shot session with the class, my suspicions were confirmed.

Still, this is a labor of love for me—I love vampires, I love VtM, I love D&D, and I usually like Ghostfire Gaming’s products, too. That’s why I’ve spent the last few days sitting down and creating a complete rework of the class to make it more playable and better realize the concept of a proper vampire class in D&D.

This is the first time I’ve attempted something like this, and even though I’m already pretty satisfied with it myself, it would really help me if one of you could read through everything and then give me feedback on what you like, what still needs to be changed, etc.

Once I’ve tweaked everything again, I’ll reach out to the developers on the Ghostfire Gaming server and show them the rework. Even if they probably won’t adopt everything, they might adjust the official class again so we all get a cool and playable Kindred class. Thanks

DND Bound by Blood Kindred Class

From what I've gathered, the new Kindred class has been largely rejected. I totally get that, but it's a chance to play a type of vampire that hasn't existed like this before. How would you build a Kindred character mechanically to get the most out of it?

How long were the Antedeluvian active?

I recently read the Wikipedia article on Cappadocius, and it says he was still active until 1444, when he was diablerized by his child, Augustus Giovanni, whom he had embraced in 1005. From 8000 BCE to 1444 CE is an incredibly long period of time, and by vampire standards, 600 years since then isn’t that long at all. Until when were the other Antediluvians active, and what were their final acts?

Paralives - Oshi no Ko

A few days ago, a new life simulation game was released on Steam, alongside The Sims and InZoi; it's called Paralives. The art style is generally a bit more cartoonish—maybe someone would like to create some characters there, like Ai, Ruby, Aqua, etc. I gave it a try, but I'm not good enough at it.

Use NPC Items in BG1 EE

Hey, I did a little research myself but didn't find anything. Is there any way I can use Xan's Moonblade in BG1 EE as a player? Through a mod, EE Keeper, or something similar, or is that just not possible? Thanks for your answers
