SAB bank access from India using STC SIM
I’m travelling from Saudi Arabia to India and I have my Saudi STC SIM linked to my SAB bank account.
If my salary is credited to my Saudi bank account while I’m in India, will I still be able to access the SAB app and receive the OTP on my Saudi STC number?
I’ll be using the STC SIM on a normal plan, not an international roaming package. I mainly need it for receiving bank OTPs, while I’ll use an Indian SIM/eSIM for data.
Has anyone actually tried this from India? Do I need to activate STC international roaming, or will incoming SMS/OTPs work on the normal plan?
Thanks!

The price made me do a Blind bouy for Jpg le male

Just ordered JPG Le Male Le Parfum from Nykaa Man for ₹5.7k, and now I’m starting to overthink it. 😅 I’m a bit skeptical about buying fragrances online, especially since different sellers fulfill orders on Nykaa Man, so I’m wondering how reliable it is when it comes to authenticity. I’m also curious about the perfume itself. I keep seeing it everywhere on YouTube, TikTok, and Reddit, and it gets a ton of praise, but I honestly don’t know anyone personally who’s owned or recommended it. Did I make a good choice, and is ₹5.7k a good price? I’d love to hear from people who actually own it and have worn it.

Hot take: I think Stronger With You Intensely is the better fragrance

Hot take: I think Stronger With You Intensely is the better fragrance, but Azzaro The Most Wanted is the smarter buy.
SWY Intensely has that addictive chestnut, toffee, and vanilla sweetness that just feels richer and more unique to me. Every time I wear it, I enjoy smelling myself.
But Azzaro seems easier to wear. It’s a bit cleaner, more masculine, and feels like it works in more situations without becoming overwhelming.
Performance-wise, people seem split. Some swear SWY lasts forever, while others say Azzaro projects better and feels more dynamic.
If you could only keep one, which would it be—and why?
No brand loyalty. Just your honest opinion.

Got lucky with my batch

Bought it in June 2026, from a physical store but the batch was manufactured in September 2024. So it had already aged for about 21 months before I even opened it.
From the very first wear, this thing has been an absolute monster. The projection is crazy, the scent trail is so noticeable, and the longevity just keeps going. I wasn’t expecting this kind of performance at all.
I’ve always heard people say Middle Eastern fragrances get much better with age, but I never expected the difference to be this dramatic. Now I’m wondering if that long time in the bottle is the reason mine performs so insanely well.
Has anyone else bought an older Hawas Ice batch and noticed the same thing? Or did I just get incredibly lucky?

Should I keep it or gift it to my dad

Got this Rasasi perfume for free with my Hawas Ice purchase. Should I keep it or gift it to my dad?
I got this one for free from a Rasasi store when I bought Hawas Ice.
I looked up the notes afterward and they seemed pretty interesting:
Top: Bergamot, lavender, pink pepper
Middle: Ginger, cedarwood
Base: Amber, tonka bean, musk, sandalwood
I’ve only given it a few sprays so far, and my first impression is that it smells pretty decent.
I’m thinking of gifting it to my dad, but now I’m wondering if it’s actually worth keeping for myself. Does anyone here own or know this fragrance? How’s the performance and overall quality? Is it worth adding to my collection, or is it more of a nice gift?

Music culture and communities

I'm from Kerala and have been a singer/guitarist for around 6-7 years. Really good in Bollywood music. I played in a band, did gigs in bars, cafés, and small venues, but the band eventually dispersed.
Life happened, and I had to switch careers and move to the Gulf for work. Right now I'm working a regular job, but I honestly miss music and want to make a serious comeback.
I'm considering taking a big risk, returning to India, and rebuilding my music life from scratch. I'm especially interested in cities like Bangalore or Mumbai because they seem to have more active live music and independent artist scenes.
My goal isn't just to join another cover band-I want to be part of a creative community.
For musicians who are active in India right now:
Which city would you recommend for someone in my position?
My main options are Bangalore and Mumbai because they seem to have the most active music scenes.
For musicians currently based in either city:
Which city offers better opportunities for working musicians?
Is it easier to find gigs, session work, bands, and networking opportunities in Bangalore or Mumbai?
How active is the independent music scene in each city for someone wanting to release original music?
If you were starting over with experience but no strong local network, which city would you choose and why?
I'm willing to take a risk on this move, so I'd appreciate honest insights from people actually involved in the music scene.

Date-Hookup in Varkala

I’m a guitarist and singer planning to make Varkala my base in the future because I already have contacts there and can get regular gigs.
I’m fit, take care of my appearance, and I’m comfortable talking to people and making connections. At this point, I’m not really looking for a serious relationship and would prefer casual dating/hookups while focusing on my music career.
Realistically, what are my odds in a place like Varkala? Does being a musician actually make a noticeable difference in dating and hookup opportunities, or is that mostly a stereotype?
Interested in hearing from people who have lived in or spent a lot of time in Varkala.

Trying to end my fragrance debate once and for all.

I’ve tested SWY Intensely and SWY Absolutely multiple times.
My experience:
Intensely feels sweeter, smoother, and more youthful.
Absolutely feels boozier, richer, and more mature.
Both perform well, but Absolutely seems to project more and last longer on me.
Even though Absolutely performs better, I keep finding myself drawn to Intensely.
What keeps confusing me is that I often hear women prefer Intensely over Absolutely. If that’s true, does it make sense to choose Intensely even if Absolutely seems like the higher-quality scent to me?
To make things worse, I recently smelled Power of You Passion Fruit and it smelled absolutely incredible to me. I’ve seen some people call it feminine because of the passion fruit note, but honestly I don’t get that impression at all. To my nose it’s just an amazing scent, and I feel like anyone can rock it confidently regardless of gender.
So now I’m stuck between:
SWY Intensely
SWY Absolutely
Power of You Passion Fruit
For those who have worn or smelled them:
Which one do you prefer and why?
Which gets the best reactions from women in your experience?
Do women generally prefer Intensely over Absolutely, or is that just something repeated online?
Is Power of You Passion Fruit actually feminine, or would you consider it unisex?
If you could keep only one of these three, which would it be?
Looking for opinions from people who have spent real time with these fragrances because I want to finally end this debate and buy one.

Hawas Ice Opinions from Y’all

I don’t understand the hype behind this perfume and Ive been seeing a lot of reels on this. Is it actually worth the hype? How does it smells like?

u/RevolutionarySwim978 — 3 months ago

Help me out

I’m trying to decide between Guerlain L’Homme w (EDP) and Stronger With You Intensely.
For those who have worn both:
Which one smells higher quality?
Which gets more compliments?
Which has better performance (projection and longevity)?
Which is more versatile year-round?
Which would you personally buy if you could only keep one?
I’m interested in both scent quality and overall value, so I’d love to hear detailed opinions from people who own or have extensively worn both.

Also I wanna get something to keep personal

Help me out on this

Need some advice — Im in Saudi and planning to return in 3 months. Armani Stronger With You Intensely is around 450 SAR which is around ₹ 11,400 on the official Armani Saudi site, but Myntra has it for ~₹7.5k from a seller called “IndiFlashMart.”

The price difference is tempting, but I’m worried about authenticity. Anyone here ordered fragrances from this seller before? Legit or risky?

I came to Saudi Arabia in October 2025 through a connection (my dad’s friend, who is a manager at a company). I was promised a salary of SAR 3,500, but due to delays with the company visa, I was asked to arrange my own visa for 3 months, which cost me around SAR 5000. I was told that after 3 months, they would transfer me under the company.

After arriving, things didn’t go as expected. My salary was reduced to SAR 2,000, the job and environment in Jubail haven’t suited me at all, and more importantly, my iqama/visa situation was never fixed. My initial permit expired in January, and as of now, I’m overstaying without proper sponsorship, which puts me in a risky position.

I’m someone with an active lifestyle back in India, and the only reason I took this job was to earn quickly for 1–2 years and leave. But now I just want to exit as soon as possible. I’m not comfortable here, the company situation seems unstable, and they’ve been delaying everything despite saying they’ll “fix it soon.”

I also have an important event in September, so I need to go back to India anyway.

Right now, I see two realistic options:

  1. Wait for them to transfer me under the company (maybe July/August), let them handle the overstaying fines, then take an exit/re-entry visa in September for vacation—and simply not return.

  2. Tell them clearly in advance that I don’t want to continue, ask for a final exit, and either they pay or I pay the fines myself—but risk them delaying things, treating me badly, or creating issues since I came through their reference. So there exist an uncertainty there if I’m choosing this option. Maybe I might not get my salary settlement.

I don’t plan to return to Saudi or GCC in the future, so long-term bans aren’t really a concern. So if I’m not concerned about that, why would I spent my own money on the visa renewal and fines. I’m just indecisive for now

Which option sounds safer or more practical in this situation?
