[XBOX 360] [2000s] Videogame where you play as a mercenary who dies and gets superpowers in a postapocalyptic world after a demon invasion

Another game I remember playing as a kid. The opening cutscene tells the backstory of the world: centuries ago, an army from Hell invaded humanity. (I'm not completely sure they were actually demons, though. My gut tells me it probably might have instead been an evil wizard leading an undead army). The whole introduction was presented like an old legend, using black ink drawings on a yellow, parchment-like background.

After completing the tutorial, another cutscene plays. The protagonist is suddenly backstabbed by a zombie he failed to notice and dies. In the afterlife/spirit realm, he hears a mysterious voice offering him a deal: he can come back to life in exchange for his soul. He accepts the deal and is resurrected, now possessing supernatural powers centered around one of his arms.

He returns to the main base of the mercenary gang he's a member of, which is located in the middle of a vast desert. There he reunites with his lifelong rival, a woman who is almost certainly the protagonist's love interest as well. I think she was also the leader of the gang, or at least one of its highest-ranking members. Other characters described her as one of the deadliest warriors in the desert. the only way i vagely remember her was someone similar to furiosa from mad max for some reason.

As for the gameplay, I only remember it vaguely. It was a 3D action game where you fought groups of zombies and other monsters using a large sword (I think it was a claymore) while also relying on powerful supernatural abilities granted by your cursed arm. Those abilities seemed to consume or require some kind of mana meter that was filled by defeating enemies.

The closest comparison I can think of is Dantes Inferno. It had a similar fast paced melee focused combat mixed with supernatural powers, although I can't remember if the mechanics were exactly the same.

[PS2] [2000s] Videogame whee you play as a vampire monsterhunter whit superpowers

I'm trying to remember a PlayStation 2 game I played at a friend's house when I was a kid. It had a dark fantasy setting as a 3D action game. The protagonist was a woman with some kind of glowing green tattoo or magical marking that granted her vampire-like powers. She could drain the blood and souls of enemies to gain temporary buffs, and she could also transform into a powerful demonic or monstrous form. as well perform parkour on top of buildings and electrical poles. That's about all I can remember.

Edit: solved its both Bloodrayne and Primal. My childhood fuzzy memories merged both of them as a singular game. Thank you all in the comment section.

[TOMT] Live-action movie where the characters have to play poker or chess to save their dimensions from war.

Many years ago I watched the trailer for a movie and thought, "I'll check it out later." Unfortunately, I never saved the title and have never been able to find it again.

From what I remember, the plot was about an evil villain trying to conquer the multiverse. Heroes from multiple dimensions or worlds teamed up to stop him. The main character was an ordinary guy from Earth who happened to be a champion poker player (though it might have been a champion of chess instead). Through some twist of fate or prophecy, he was chosen to represent Earth, and his skill at the game somehow became important in stopping the conflict.

(The movie probably was based from a book but i am not sure)

A few things I know it was and it wasn't:

- It was not an anime (so not Yu-Gi-Oh!, Digimon, or anything similar).

- It was a live-action Western film.

- It looked like it came out sometime in the 2000s (possibly late 1990s or early 2010s).

- The trailer gave off the vibe of a big fantasy adventure, similar to Harry Potter or The Lord of the Rings, rather than a sci-fi movie.

Does this sound familiar to anyone?

Another anime where the MC is a dragon. "A Herbivorous Dragon of 5,000 Years Gets Unfairly Villainized"

On my last post about the cat dragon anime, a lot of people were asking or searching about other anime or series where the main character is a dragon, so here's one!

I watched it when it first came out a few years ago, and surprisingly, very few people seem to talk about it. It's a lighthearted comedy with two seasons released so far, and it's a fun watch if you're looking for something featuring a dragon as the MC.

It also has a manga and a web novel available, named "Yowai 5000-nen no Soushoku Dragon", if someone wants to check out the original source material.

My Werewolf oc

Been wanting to have a werewolf OC for some time, so I came up with Farken and the Spectral Fangs. Their look is heavily inspired by the tribal tattoo designs you can find online, and I based their entire lore around that aesthetic. I may eventually create the other clans as well if i find the time.

How to make a setup installator for an app in windows

How do I make an installer/updater for the windows version of my app?

I have an app that stores some local data using SQLite. Right now, whenever I release a new version (flutter build windows), I have to manually move the SQLite database file from the old release folder into the new one.

I want it to work more like typing the android release APK command, where the android system automatically recognizes the apk as a new version and updates the app while preserving all user data, including the SQLite database.
