Gaming has never felt so much more immersive!!
Got Halo MCC to work on the Odyssey 3D, and using the ErgoStrike7 mouse from Amazon.
Add the geo11 mod to output SBS, then add Reshade➔3DGamebridge which turns on the monitor’s 3D mode (Leia SR) automatically.
If anyone can teach me how to get 3D to work on Campaign Evolved you will be my best friend.
I have yet to see a single reviewer of this laptop has show the one thing I want to know:
How does this laptop perform with Split-screen Co-op games.
On my 32:9 Ultrawide monitors, Split-screen games can stretch to run full 16:9 aspect ratios for each player.
Now this being a dual OLED 16:9 screen laptop, I'm pretty sure it can do this. But if anyone can confirm how well it performs, or if by some reason, if it's crappy/not possible.
I'm thinking it works in-game but cut-scenes are going to be wack.

Wondering what is your guys' best way to do 3D gaming/content on VR?
I just found this app that is basically Virtual Desktop but with the ability to turn everything on your desktop into immersive 3D in real time. It's called Cybionyx InMotion App for the Quest 3 $7.99.
I bit the bullet, and purchased, and it's been my favorite app for gaming/content watching now.
Anime, movies, Youtube, Reddit, photos, even my desktop wallpaper, everything is just finally in a pretty decent 3D. It still has its quirks and can be buggy, and it’s UI sucks compared to Virtual Desktop’s UI. But there is simply nothing else I’ve found that does 3D like this, and pretty darn well too.
My 4050 gpu laptop struggles with gaming but even with Pragmata, in some open sceneries, the 3D worked really well.
I tried free software but my dumb laptop couldn't get other programs like iw3 and Owlshift to output anything more than 10 FPS on my laptop, and for some reason this app has better looking 3D than some of the native 3D SBS stuff that I tried using Virtual Desktop’s SBS 3D toggle.
Prior to this the only other software that I had working that could do an everything 3D was using the Viture Beast XR glasses. With Immerse3D software on PC it also turns everything on your desktop into 3D well. But 3D content just looks so much better on larger screens and a larger FOV that the Quest 3 has.
The Cybionyx app still has its quirks, but I think the depth might hold the #1 spot than everything else I've tried currently for XR/VR.
So wondering what your guys' experience has been!
Zondision's Zimo1 Monitors (aren't officially out yet) can apparently run DCS in a glasses free 3D triple monitor setup.
This video is from 2-weeks ago, just sharing the news since I don't see it in the sub.
If they can get this to work with more flight and race sims, I might be tempted to get 3 of these monitors.
Anything SBS for 3D gets this warped aspect ratio thing on my Viture Beast.
Above is an image of Shadow of the Tomb Raider which has native in-game 3D SBS. This occurs on all SBS content. On my Quest 3, the same games and movies output perfectly fine in 3D.
For movies, I found a solution that requires tinkering. If I use VLC and set the aspect ratio to 32:9, and full screen the video to ultrawide between the Left and Right screen windows, it displays into a proper SBS format.
I just wanna be able to play my games in SBS 3D. Anyone know of a fix?
First of all, this is hopeful, niche visionary talk. I feel like modern 3D is not something alot of people have yet experienced, and would blow a lot of people/gamers' minds.
The Mind-Blow
If you've only seen 3D from movie theaters, that fixed 3D experience is 2000's outdated tech.
In 2026, 3D has absolutely blown my mind. Instead of a fixed 3D glasses experience, today's 3D can be glasses free. It adapts to your eyes instead, allowing viewing zones to be more sharp, comfortable, and immersive. Pair that with being more sharp and fluid in a 4K 120 hz experience, better algorithms to enhance popout and depth. Now, there's even algorithmic 3D software that can turn everything from YouTube, movies, photos, video games, even anime into 3D.
My Current Experience
For the past month, I've only been watching 90% of my content in 3D. Youtube, games, and photos, it makes me feel like I'm living in 2040. The youtube thumbnails and videos have a natural looking depth, almost like windows into different realities, and gadgets or objects seem to have a pop-out effect. Gaming is another level. Depth activates my amygdala and fight or flight sense to be more engaged with what I'm playing. It could be a very old retro game, or Halo 1, but because it's in 3D, the immersion factor makes it feel more real than an 8K 240hz monitor.
The Gap
3D has been working great with my OneXPlayer Super X. I just have to pair it with either the Viture Beast, Quest 3, or my glasses free 3D monitor.
But most of the time, I am carrying just the tablet alone.
This is my hopeful moonshot request at OneXPlayer to explore a 3D version.

I know it's not for everyone but I’m glad that this device lets me watch all anime in 3D.
Personally, it's been crazy awesome.
I feel like I've entered an entire new dimension of content.
I actually appreciate the art so much more. Signs, hallways, desks, potions, bottles, hair, even small details like the engraving marks on weapons- you start to notice all those details once they have depth.
The city in Cyberpunk Edgerunners feels so much more visceral and immersive. It's a rewatch and I've been just pausing the anime multiple times to stare at how this city scene looks, or the depth of the hallway. Even a Neon green LED sign in the corner looks cool just cuz it now has depth.
Remember those anime shows or scenes that you wanna rewatch and see for the first time again?
This helped me relive them with a new visual flavor.
Also I have not watched anime in a while. But now I just sat through the entire 60 minute first ep of Cursed to be a Hero. It makes me want to watch everything new and old.
Even non-anime YouTube videos I can sit through entire 15-30 minute videos now it's crazy.
If you don't like AR glasses some people have also been connecting this device to OBS and watching on their glasses free
3D monitors/3D projector. But I also think there are other software available that turn desktops into 3D.
Sometimes I don't want algorithmic 3D and have a bunch of SBS movies I want to watch. I just need the glasses to display it in 3D format. However when I toggle 3D mode, it doesn't overlap properly. Or lens is completely blank. Is this normal? Does 3D only work with Immerse3D software and not won't project properly without it?
Hi guys, I’m planning to upgrade from my Meta Quest 3.
Halo MCC in 3D blew my mind but the resolution looks sad af compared to my 4K 3D monitors.
I was thinking either the Pimax Dream Air, Galaxy XR, or Apple Vision Pro for 3D gaming, I chose the above because I travel for work, so portability, and passthrough are pretty important to me, unless there’s others out there that are also great.
I also come from using glasses free 3D monitors at 4k 120hz, the Acer and Samsung ones blew my mind. I have the Viture Beast so for AR glasses the drop to 3D that is 1200p 60hz in a tiny 57° FOV window works, but feels like a huge downgrade and I feel like a great VR headset could provide the quality experience I’m looking for. The Xreal Asus ROG looks like a cool option but still 1200p with a 3D that is locked to 30fps from what I’ve heard.
If you are using any high quality VR headsets for 3D, I’d love to know how immersive the quality of the 3D is, what game or content looked great in 3D, and how the software experience was to get it to run in 3D.
Absolutely mind blown.
After hearing that they make "glasses free" 3D monitors. I thought no way! I absolutely have to try and found Acer directly selling $1200 refurbished ones on eBay. **Only 1 remaining**, naturally I checked-out.
Then I saw someone selling the Samsung 3D monitor for $450 ($580 total with tax and shipping) and couldn't believe my eyes. Did I just over-pay 3x more for the same experience? I tried to cancel the Acer, but Acer said they already shipped it out, and I'd have to return it once it arrived.
Story short, I now have 2 stereoscopic 3D monitors. Let's compare them.
FIRST - THE EXPERIENCE
Stellar Blade is optimized really well on the Samsung Odyssey 3D monitor. It just works out of the box. I tried to run it with UEVR on the Acer Spatial Labs 3D monitor, and just cannot get it to work. In the game, the surrounding embers, the flames, the enemies rushing toward you, everything has a visceral depth and presence, it feels like the in-game stakes are scarier and real. A stab is an actual stab. And Eve is a whole other something else in 3D. Samsung has about 80 games in it's library, but only a handful (around 5 or so) are really optimized like:
Next I tried, Nier Automata, The Finals, and Need for Speed on the Acer Spatial Labs where they are optimized to work out of the box amazing. Truly surreal. Acer has a much more massive library of games (around 200) and most work extremely well with an optimization called 3D Ultra. This grants some games a POP OUT slider. This has been a fun thing to test out for me. I immediately opened the FINALS and my in-game character looks like they are standing outside of my screen, as if I could grab them. There is a sweet spot, but the further away you go increases depth perception. So if I sit 2 feet away from the screen it looks like my character or an assault rifle or handgun is sticking out 7-12 inches out of my screen. Same for 2B and her floating weapon. The pop out effect is enough to where it feels like she is a figure that I can grab out of my screen.
With the Quest 3, I tried Halo MCC. VR has net zero pop-out. But the newfound 3D experience of favorite games, and being able to adjust monitor sizes with Virtual Desktop, was a funner experience than actual VR. There is a libarary of games with 3D conversion steps online, via HelixMods. I tried Virtual Desktop, couldn't get it to work, refunded. Saw someone say that Halo looked amazing here. I went back, repaid that $20, found the 3D Toggle of virtual desktop-- and this has made 3D a seamless experience on VR. I booted up Halo 2 and Halo 4 and tears to my eyes. They felt like an entirely brand new game, newer than the Halo that's coming out right now.
With Halo new he grunts and elites feel alive, and the details of the forerunner architecture; even with hovering covenant space ships, everything feels more threatening, present, and real. When they shoot bullets at you it feels like they are coming right at you. It feels like an even newer game experience to me than watching the trailer of the new Halo Combat Evolved that hasn't come out yet. Also watching a bunch of Side by side movies and content looks so good on Virtual Desktop, and so easy to toggle; I think an even easier experience than toggling on the 3D monitors.
WHO IS 3D FOR?
3D is perfect for those single player immersive games that you just never started/finished cuz some aspect of isn't intriguing or mesmerizing enough to lock you in for a whole 30+ min playthrough.
Or it's for those who want to experience a game as if they played it again for the very first time. The entire Halo MCC series now feel like a brand new game even though I played it all before.
As you can see I've tried 3D on 3 different devices now. Meta Quest 3, Samsung Odyssey 3D, and Acer Spatial Labs 3D monitor.
HOW DO THEY COMPARE?
Both the Samsung and Acer have Final Fantasy 7 as a well-optimized game so this was my experience testing this game out on both monitors.
With 3D monitors there is a "sweet spot" that the cameras feed your eyes.
Samsung tries to accomodate that sweet spot for you. It trades away a little bit of pixel clarity/stability to give you a fluid, dynamic 3D that responds smoothly when you move your head. If I turn my head away from the screen. It looks like a normal 2D image. When I rotate it back, the sweet spot transition is natural and seamless and doesn't hurt my eyes. It prioritizes visual comfort and continuous eye tracking. As a result there seems to be way less ghosting, the left and right eye side images aren't fighting each other as often, but the sacrifice makes it feels like I'm playing at 60hz.
The Acer SpatialLabs forces you to lock into an anchored sweet spot. This gives you a much sharper, punchier 3D picture but punishes you with ghosting or eye discomfort if you move too far out of its strict sweet spot. It will hurt your eyes a bit at first especially if you tinker with the 3D settings, but as a result it feels like it stays to true 120+hz. The Pop-out effect is noticabley better for me, and the graphics just have a touch of refinement compared to the Samsung.
The Samsung's sweet spot adjusts to you for comfort, but the Acer has you adjust to the sweet spot window for improved 3D-ness.
Ultimately, they're all fun tools to make the game you play more immersive. I also have a bunch of OLED TV's and ultrawide 49" OLED monitor. Those are amazing for a different experience.
The bottleneck in my testing is the Meta Quest 3. Only 2k pixel resolution.
So I am actually planning on purchasing a 4K OLED headset for gaming/travel. Any recommendations? Bigscreen Beyond 2? Pimax Air Dream? Or even a Samsung XR/Apple Vision Pro- I'd like to try the new Asobi app that lets you stream all your PS5 games on the Apple Vision Pro in stereo 3D. I love passthrough on the Meta Quest 3. I'm just curious to what experience lies beyond the 2K-non-OLED.
