Move out Inspection and trying to understand a few things.

I recently move out of a house that I rented from a private owner. When I moved in I had to get it cleaned plus my realtor had to make sure that they cut the grass because it was out of hand.

I wrote down and took some pictures of all the things I saw especially the cracks in the floor and the walls etc. plus it needed a paint job. Well the landlord said that’s all cosmetic and it will kit get fixed.

Okay now I have moved out and the realtor was like paint this and that and took pictures of the walls and floors. He said that the paint job etc will be deducted from my deposit. The crazy thing is the prior tenant told me they received their full deposit back and did not paint anything they just had it cleaned which I did too.

I even had the cleaner come back out due to the realtor asking.

Anyone ever went through anything like this? I always get my deposit back and it’s weird that I was told cosmetic when I talked about the floor and paint issues but now it’s going to be deducted.

What’s the fastest time you have received your deposit back?

What’s the fastest time you have received a deposit back, especially if it was from a private owner.

If you had to choose between builders who would you go with Lennar or D.R. Horton and why?

Is this a Texas thing with older white men calling you girl and gal?

I was talking on the phone to a client and he was like, “Okay girl, I mean ma’am.” Older white male in his 60’s.

I’m in Texas so is that a Texas thing I wonder lol. I’m not from here.

Also when I was giving birth to my daughter well I was getting a epidural the anesthesiologist said, “Come on gal!”

Felt like I was in the slavery days lol

Anyway what’s your experience?

Any chance of receiving a refund?

I paid the admin fee and application and nothing has been processed or anything at all. Paid it Saturday and it’s Thursday. Any chance I can receive a refund since nothing has been done and it’s just sitting there.

Apartments in the Belton ISD area

Anyone live in Pecan Pointe or Colonial Crossing?

If so what has been your experience? I’m leaning more towards Pecan Pointe because it’s close to a lot of different things, but the manager there seems a bit spicy.

I was so nervous about nothing. My primary doctor had me super nervous and the cardiologist was like it happened in my sleep so I will be fine.

He said since my heart rate on the treadmill got up to 92 that means that my heart is performing fine. He said he does recommend a sleep study which I will have next month.

I’m still a bit nervous because your heart stopping in your sleep is scary but the cardiologist said I’m fine so I guess I should be super happy!

Monday my doctor called me and told me I have a 3rd degree heart block. I wore a heart monitor for two weeks. She said good thing is it happened while I was sleep.

I don’t know if I will need a pacemaker or not. It only happened one time from what the monitor picked up. It also picked up a 2nd degree block. I’m so scared and nervous. I have babies. I cried so much Monday.

Is the pacemaker surgery outpatient?
