Egypt coach Hossam Hassan: "I will say what's on my mind regardless of the consequence, this was clearly a rigged match and the whole world saw it. And I want to say one more thing, if they want Argentina to win so bad, why call everyone to come and participate?"

Ronaldo: "I leave with a clear conscience, tomorrow will be a new day. I helped Portugal win 3 trophies already. The Euros win was big."

Now he leaves...

Ngl Ronaldos been really unlucky with the shitty managers he's had to play under for the last eight years, bar Jesus they've been awful. Santos wasted two world cups of his and now Martinez ruined his last one. Insanity.

Yamal went to hug Ronaldo right after the game

Rodri was clearly pulling Ronaldo, preventing him from running to the ball...how is this not a penalty?

Why has Neymar gotten nowhere near the criticism Ronaldo or Messi received for his international career?

Neymar plays for a Brazil team which was better than Messis Argentina up to 2021 and Ronaldos Portugal up until 2022. Brazil are also a much BIGGER football nation than the others and Neymar has 0 trophies for them whilst Ronaldo won a EUROS for much smaller PORTUGAL. Messi meanwhile ended Argentinas trophy drought yet both Messi + Ronaldo both received much more criticism for their international career low points whilst Neymar has always got off scot free.

Erling Haaland is a more dominant goalscorer than Lionel Messi ever was

7 goals in his first world cup whilst playing for a weak team and has scored in his last 14+ international games whilst Messi scored 0 in his ballon dor winning prime at the 2010 world cup. Not to mention Messi only scoring 6 in a weak French league in his first season at Psg whilst Haaland scored 35+ in his first season at City in the hardest league in the world.

What do Moroccans think about Mohamed Salah?

Non Moroccan here, curious to hear your opinion about the Egyptian and football legend. I know there's a rivalry between Moroccans and Egyptian fans too.
