What goes through these customers heads?

Why order mcderps from so far away? It'll be nasty by the time I get there. Why does DD think these types of distances are OK?

This lil part rusted out and snapped. Half fell into the door. How hard/expensive to fix? '14 corolla

CR question for experienced dms

I'm still learning some of the ropes on DMing but when balancing combat i feel like I'm making things too easy. When looking at CR ratings what would you say is fair for a party consisting of a monk, bard, cleric, rogue, fighter, and barbarian (when hes able to come). They do some heavy handed damage but they're also only level 4 (gonna be 5 after my next session).

I'd like to make things more challenging but not TPK them with something way out of their league.

Within the next few sessions they're going to end up at the spine of the world (I'm home brewing) and i would also like to know if a frost giant would be *way* too hard or if I should throw a few more wolves or crag cats or if there's something else to do instead.

Question about thank you notes?

Debating putting a thank you note on the outside of bags (never ever ever open sealed bags and my area is really good about that) for my deliveries or just a little dad joke (something silly you'd find on a popsicle, always SFW.) or something. No candy or anything that could be tampered with, but just something small to brighten people's days. Thoughts?

Edit to add: valid points about potentially offensive jokes so no to that.

But as for a "thank you for your order" are yall really that cynical and jaded that a single post it on the outside of the bag got you worked up? I'm not trying to be extra or earn crazy more in tips, I'm just trying to be more personable. We are all humans at the end of the day on BOTH sides of the order. If it makes me an extra tip, cool, if not, oh well. But even if there is the smallest chance I made someone's day a bit better, I got something out of it.

We need more PLUR in the world and if this is how it spreads, imma spread it one post it "thank you" at a time.

Shop and deliver question

Trying to become a pro shopper and I keep getting customer instructions on items "buy such and such instead" to sub out an item. Ig my main questions are:

  1. Can I sub an item without marking as out of stock? If so how?

  2. Can I do this without ruining my odds of being a pro shopper? (I feel like this is prolly a no but doesn't hurt to ask)

Question about tax deductions

So I'm driving as a second income (no more than 3-4 hrs a day) and I'm tracking miles on everlance.

Explain like I'm 5

How does the mileage work? Lets say i make 5k this year to put a number on it. Ive tried googling it but I'm even more confused. I'm also assuming to hold 30% of all earnings to pay in on taxes (Google said thats a good estimate) so if there's a different number and should be holding more or less lmk. I'm in MI if that makes any difference.

How do yall make finances work?

Every payday is a full mental breakdown for me. I'm working on picking up a second job and am doordashing as well. I cannot fathom how anyone can live on just walmart alone unless they're TL or higher.

Edit to add: between my wife and I, we make too much money for SNAP and we dont have kiddos either.

I hate dairy

I'm normally grocery team (ON stock) but once a week I get stuck in dairy cause they only have 3 or 4 people (not including myself). Out of those, only the one who floats between frozen and dairy based on coverage works. The rest just yap. I feel like I'm pulling 80% of the weight cause I'm loading up my cart and they're just half filling and chit chatting. Its annoying af. Mostly just wanted to vent. Also wanted to ask, how do I tell my boss I don't wanna work dairy at all anymore without sounding like I can't work on a team? I just can't do this team.
