So we get a one hour unpaid lunch (California) I had a short lunch because of traffic due to 4th of July crap. I was sitting in the break vehicle gobbling my lunch up before my bus was coming this guy knocked on my window saying he needed to ask me a question I told him I'm on my unpaid lunch and the buses will be back at 30 after he said "well I have another question." I repeated to him I was on my unpaid lunch and drove away. I just can't especially today

I'm in the US and for some reason people are a lot more shitty maybe because of the up coming 4th of July festivities. I drive in a mountainist touristy area with a lot of people who rent ebikes and bikes. Today I was passing a couple of bikes who were riding on the wrong side of the fucking road (bike path is just across the street) I gave a polite beep beep with my horn to let them know I was passing them, gave them them the proper 4 feet and as I'm passing I startled on guy who started screaming at me. He catches up to me at the stop sign and started scream "You fucking cunt!!" And flipping me off He repeated it several times and this was in front of families in ear shot they all stopped to look at him. I marked the footage and calmly told him if he didn't stop screaming I was going to call the police and he can scream at them. He says "call the cops I don't care!!" I pulled my parking brake put it in neutral pulled out my phone and said ok. He backed peddled really quick got on his bike and leaves. I called the office and told them what happened the fucker never called in. Why do bicycles think they own the road🤦🤦 let hear everyones fun bicyclist stories

Omg there is a driver at my agency who snitches about everything even insignificant shit. I can't stand this guy. We are on the same route together and I had a lady that told me she needed to go back home and to see if the other driver could hold for her since she had to run across the street. I radio him and say hey I have someone for you that needs to go back the way she came can you hold? Granted we hadn't even hit our time point he said no you don't have a transfer and that's no how it usually works. When I got on lunch I called my boss to tell her the situation she sighed and said he already called and complained about me 😂 she can't stand him either. Like seriously sorry for fucking up your day or something dude

I'm considering buying a second Subaru right now I have a 2013 Subaru legacy 3.6 limited I love my car she is so amazing. I saw a 2015 Subaru legacy 2.5 base model for sale I talked the guy down to 5k it has 130,000 miles. Looks really clean and would make a great commute car especially since I live near Tahoe and need awd. The problem is I'm really picky and love the 3.6 limited. while the base model is nice I've read the 2.5 boxer engine doesn't have as much torque as the 3.6. what are your thoughts? Plus I love my heated seats in my limited. Especially in winter 😁

Anyone have this schedule, I have to turn in my shift bid the day after tomorrow and I've been flirting with the idea of choosing a 9-80 schedule with a 2 hour split, we get split pay and night pay after 5pm. I'm just not so excited about working nonstop, my mom lives with me and I have my dog, I like my schedule now. I work mornings and get off at 2pm so I am able to go to appointments, walk my dog and spend the afternoon with my mom.

I have a 2013 Subaru legacy limited 3.6 I love my car and hands down the 3.6 is the best engine Subaru ever made. I'm looking for another subie 3.6 possibly a legecy. I recently saw a tribeca limited 3.6 for sale after so some research I saw the tribeca was a bit of a glass guzzler and wasn't as popular as other models. What is your favorite Subaru 3.6 model?

I'm a single something female looking for new friends to do cool stuff with. I'm actually located in minden I'm not much of a drinker and can't do 420 because of my job (bus driver) but I do love coffee, good food, photography, great banter and conversation, hiking, swimming and the beach. I work in Truckee (yeah I know the commute is long) so I'm in that area quite a bit.

They already have their CDL Ive been doing route training with her and the last agency which she also got her license through didn't allow any drivers to back their buses or pull them into any garage/barn. At my agency we fuel our own buses, back into fuel spots, pull into garage/barn. You can't have your hand held at my job. Well yesterday she hit a sign in road construction and today she knocked a yellow beam while attempting to pull into our hot barn. She just scrapped the rear fender and took paint off the beam nothing major. This was after I worked with her on backing techniques for half my shift. She was doing amazing then today happened. I don't know if she is going to make it. I'm shocked that an agency would do that to their drivers that's a disservice to them to teach them not to back or think for themselves.

My covert nex and I broke up 6 months ago today. I've since moved on with someone else. Well we all work together and my nex has been following my current SO and trying to spy on us. (We all work together) I alerted management because my current so has to much pride to do it. I guess management was out and about trying to find my nex (long story) I guess they never stop ever it's frustrating...

So we all know you need a thick skin to do this job and not many people can do it. At my agency I've seen close to 20 drivers come and go in the 2 years Ive been there. What's the turnover at your agency?

She's never worked transit before only at a resort as transportation director. She has no clue about union rules and countiues to hire morons and snowflakes who don't take direction very well.when I had an issue with a new hire because I joking said don't crash the bus and don't hit shit he went crying to her, and lied about what was said, she called me a liar and I told her get another person in this meeting before I walk out and call my union rep.I'm so over it and want to jump ship. There's only like 8 of us that have worked through hard winters, when we were short staffed etc. when the county gave us a huge pay raise everyone started applying. I'm just so done maybe it's the agency I work for.....

I broke it off with a guy Ive been seeing for a few months, he's 13 years older than me and toxic AF. I own my house have a good job he's a gambler, can barely pay his rent and drives a car that is about to break down. Singleness is amazing compared to being with the wrong person. I booked a get away for me and my mom to the bay area (Northern California) next weekend and I can't wait!!

I think it's an on going trend with transit as a whole hiring people with customer service experience rather than competent people who can drive a bus.

My agency got a bunch of ground ups (they don't have their licenses yet) they are training to get their licenses with us. One guy is clearly a problem he doesn't like woman trainers has backed buses into poles at the yard. I made a comment about how we all hit shit and the best thing to do is learn from it and try not to do it again. He ran to management skewing what I said my manager said the guy was crying and shaking when he told him what I supposedly said......they talked to me to get my side and told the straight up the truth. I was told not to be so "hard" on the new people. I'm sorry if you can't handle that then how will you handle driving route with mentally ill crazy people who will call you every name in the book I just can't with these newbies.....

He said he was depressed because he lost his mom to a stroke. Because he has no money he can barely pay his rent and drives a car that is about to die.He treats me great, cooks dinner, have great banter and conversation but I have my own responsibilities my elderly mother lives with me I own my house my car is paid off and I have a great job. While the relationship is fun I just can't see it lasting long. I feel bad for finally come to terms with it.

I had stepped down for being a driver trainer back in October because I noticed the quality of people they were bringing on has really diminished. management talked me back into helping training again the last lady I had was great smart, knows how to drive a bus and is a great addition. We got a new guy he's only had his license for a year and a half he was with another driver trainer the day before yesterday. He refused to drive because he wasn't comfortable with getting to know where the bus stops are ok...... I made him drive yesterday he stabbed the brakes all day!! by the time my shift was over my back shoulders and neck were killing me. He was driving so slow that if I had him drive the whole time we would have been way way late which is not good because a lot of times we have transfers for other buses and they're not going to wait a long time. So I ended up having to drive the most time crunching sections of my route. My route is not difficult but there are a lot of stops and a lot of in lane stops and he wasn't comfortable with that either. I called my manager and I told him he needs way more training and do not I repeat do not send him out on route alone. My manager gave me the spiel that he needs more time and blah blah blah the job is not hard we have three routes. Maybe it was just a bad fit because I do expect people coming in with their licenses to at least know what the hell they're doing. Also the guy wasn't listening I kept telling him not to stab the brakes and he kept giving me the excuse well I don't know where the bus stops are. This is after I've been pointing out the stops to him all day!!! My boyfriend who is also a driver at my agency told me to step down from training again permanently because it's just not worth it we don't get paid extra for it and it's a lot it can be stressful and I just tired of it.

He raged at work in front of many people and never apologized for his shitty behavior. I cut him off after that by writing him a letter and sending all the shit he ever gave me back. ( He was a major gift giver.)

Now I moved on with another guy who I also work with. Our relationship is so much more healthy. My nex saw us together a couple months ago. At first his behavior became extremely erratic he became very spiteful and Petty I ignored it. Now he switched gears and started leaving me gifts for me in random places at work of stuff he knows I enjoy. He has tried and tried to get me to talk to him and yesterday he really tried to get me to engage with him. He looked me straight in the eyes and tired to say hello I just waved and moved on. I usually ignored him but I caved because I was tired and dealing with another issue.

Why do they not stop?? I've ignored him for months and he still tries his hardest to get me to respond which I know is a form of supply for him. I can't unsee that he is a covert narcissist and I can't forget all the abuse he inflicted on me.

My so told me the other day when he was leaving work my nex was running around talking to himself loudly while doing work. I'm getting worn down and don't know what to do
