cat deeley - this morning!

i never watch day time tv, but i’m feeling under the weather and kinda just sitting on the couch on a complete go slow. i have ‘this morning’ on the tv.

js cat deeley drunk? she is acting so silly and hyper and will not stop giggling at everything and at inappropriate times. she wont stop butting in and just being full of carry on. is she always like this? i remember her from smtv live and always liked her but she seems, from the last hour of this show, the most irritating person on earth!

amazon being so back to front…

why is it when amazon have a minuscule parcel for you, one of minimum value that would also easily fit through the letterbox - they pull out all the stops to alert you to the fact they are at your front door. pressing bell, battering door knocks and letterbox being chapped repeatedly - putting the fear of god into you. but for some reason they just refuse to post it through your letterbox when clearly it would fit through with ease.

then, if you've ordered something more valuable and too big to fit through the letterbox, they just leave it in front of your door, in full view of the entire street and make no effort to alert you of its arrival.

is this part of training?

double cheeseburger placement?

why is the cheese placement never consistent?

sometimes i receive - bun, cheese, burger, cheese, burger, bottom bun. other times i receive - bun, cheese, burger, burger, cheese, bottom bun.

which is correct and which do you prefer?

indian red spicy chicken.

PHOTO OF WHAT I’M REFERRING TO IS IN A COMMENT.

so the majority of indian takeaways close to me offer like portions of donner meat, chicken tikka, chicken donner etc as part of the takeaway menu.

my absolute favourite is the bright red spicy chicken. seems again, my locals only so this on pizza, baked potatoes, wraps or as a topping for chips. does anyone know what the likelihood is of them selling me just a portion (or two) without any add ons. it seems a waste ordering a wrap, that comes with chips etc when i only want the chicken. or does anyone know anywhere that actually offers it on its own?

indian take away question

i know stuff like this seems to change per location, but for the majority of indian takeaway places in glasgow, what is the difference between:

  1. a kebab

  2. a hoagie

  3. an wrap

are the ingredients the same just using different breads?

meatballs…

EDITED (TO ADD WHAT I WROTE IN THE REPLYS:)

thank you SO much to the three people who have offered recommendations.

i will see which ones she prefers to pick up.

as for everyone else saying i should show her how to make them from scratch and what not - she’s doing their starter (minestrone), pasta sauce and sides all homemade / from scratch. personally i thought that was somewhat impressive being that it’s only her 3rd attempt at learning to cook whilst most kids her age probably just throw chicken nuggets and chips into the air fryer and call it homecooking.

i didn’t want to overload her, especially as she’s going to his house to cook this time. she’s 13 and the ease of heating up a few meatballs, whilst making everything else from scratch, is much better than the two of them just wasting money by ordering junk food and paying over the odds. thanks for the parental criticism though. noted.

——————

i usually make my own beef meatballs with 5% mince, black pepper and whatever seasonings tickle my fancy on the day.

my teenage daughter and her boyfriend are taking turns to make each other dinner on a fri or sat night instead of constantly ordering takeaway.

she wants to try her hand at spaghetti and meatballs when it’s her turn next. could anyone recommend the best supermarket meatballs for her to start off with before she advances and learns to prep them from scratch? all supermarkets are accessible for her! thank you all!

i know it’s a long shot but can anyone tell me what sort of car this is? i’m trying to work out who called by my house last night - (would help assist a family argument.)

pretty decent for a measly 35p. good flavour, crunch and meltyness. worth some pocket change if you see a pack.
