Kitten walks with head tilt. No other symptoms.
My wife and I took in a litter of kittens several weeks ago. She is probably around 8 weeks. One of them always has her head titled 30-40 degrees. She has no other symptoms. No balance issues, no itching, and she climbs, jumps, runs, plays, and keeps up with her siblings just fine. She is a bit smaller than they are.
She did have a fever a few weeks ago, and was treated by our vet. She became very lethargic and somewhat unresponsive. She had a temp of 105. Vets got her back to normal, and said to keep an eye on her. When she started sneezing and having congestion they gave us an antibiotic that we gave her for 10 days, and it cleared up.
Is this cause for concern? Could it be a developmental issue? The only way I can describe her is that she is a bit dopey. Doesn’t seem as intelligent as the other kittens. Takes longer to figure things out.
Update - ruptured ear drum from the upper respiratory infection she had previously. For some reason the clavamox she was on didn’t clear it up entirely. She is getting more antibiotics and treatment for her ear.
