Unable to study from my syllabus books

I am not sure if it's me but do you ever feel sick to your stomach when you have to study from books you have beef with?

Actually, in my last exams I followed my books, the one provided to me by the school board and I still remember how stressful it was, the scream of my parents in my ears on how I should do x instead of y and etc.

Next year (in 7 months) I have my last exam to graduate High school (I am an adult who is back to school) and everytime I sit down to study with those, I have this wierd feeling like I am suddenly unable to study.

I usually do fine with books, I am a reader and often often help my siblings with their studies.

For now,I am doing my lessons from prof, leonard (pre cal) and I am doing fine but this book is just making me sick because there are topics in there which I need to do, specific kind of questions and stuff too.

How do you even deal with this?

Is it okay to take Prof. Leonard's pre cal without doing algebra 2?

I have done algebra 1 pretty well and I got stucked in parabola (algebra 2) last year.

Since I am back to school (doing High school again as an adult) i am struggling with text books a little.

I came across prof leonard and his playlists seems good, like pre cal, cal 1 and cal 2.

I am thinking about taking them in the order. Is it okay?

How do you know if you are going through burn out and how to deal with it (if it's one)

I'm having a hard time figuring out if it's burn out or something else.

I got back to school as an adult last year and next year is my last year high school (completing my school for qualification) and I also learn design (product design) which is 4 times a week classes.

Since I am homeschooled, I either study or work on art and design.

This year, I have decided to keep taking notes on myself, like how I am doing, what I am doing and etc. i have noticed that in every 2 weeks, I get this weird feeling of being unable to do anything,

Sure, I can attend the classes and watch a lecture but nothing is really going inside, it's like I am forcing myself. I stay like this for 3-5 days till I feel "normal again".

Does anyone ever feel this way too? Sometimes it's bothering if I have exams in those days or important assignments.

How do you know if it's burn out, because I don't study 8 hours a day, sometimes it's 4, sometimes it's 6..

Want to be an Actuary but struggling with High School math at 21. Is "math brain" real or can I fix this?

I want to become an actuary.

I am almost 21, due to financial issues i couldn't get to complete my education on time and now I am writing my last year of high school exam.

As a kid, I was good in maths it was never a problem for me until I scored 45/100 last year in my exams. I am not sure if it was anxiety or if I was under prepared but I barely passed.

Tho i am still a noob, but I am really interested in problem solving and economics, which is why I thought going for Actuarial Science would be a good idea but looking at my maths, i hesitate.

I've tried khan academy, my school books too but sometimes they don't click at all. I am not sure what to do and I wonder if there is really a thing called "math brain".

I've heard that you need a lot of maths to actually become an actuary, I don't mind how much hours i have to put but I want to do it in a direction which makes me improve.

Any advice would be helpful?

English is my third language after my national language and mother tongue.

I've been reading and writing in English for more then 6 years now. At first it was comics then movies and now it's novels (last read was iliac crest).

But I still can't articulate and keep on long conversations going. Maybe it's vocabulary or advance grammar.

How can I teach myself intermediate/advanced english?
