It's making me mad
I currently have a Digitech Whammy 4, which I really love. But it's SO BIG.
I'm not going to get rid of it, but I was looking for a smaller octave pedal to replace it. I don't really need the expression part, and I'm mainly looking for an octave up/down effect.
Now I know of the JHS Double Dragon, but I was just wondering if there are other alternatives.
u/SpaceChimp_- has received the SHAME Flair due to a post that is identical to u/sstiel's posts. If they do it again, they will be banned
I might be slow but I actually don't know. It's that black circle that slows you and kills you if you stay too long. What is it?
Right now I have a Green Russian Big Muff (I usually run it after an SD-1) and the JHS 3 series fuzz.
I'm thinking about getting a boss fz1w.
Any other recommendations?
When can we trace it back to? And how did it get so popular?
Here, the SD-1 is my base "clean" sound and the muff is my distortion. Then, the JHS is for an extra weird sound for some leads.
I love EHX and Boss. I really do. Their pedals are great and I use them a lot. But I honestly want to expand my horizons per se. So, what are some less popular but nonetheless great companies to buy from (preferably decently priced pedals)
I love the idea of a dual overdrive pedal and being able to have essentially three (4 with clean) sounds in one pedal. I really like the Hot Wax because it seems very versatile.
