Cornflower blue Uranium glaze!
This was NOT a color of ceramic glaze I would expect to have uranium in. But here we are. It was only 3 dollars at an antique store! Not a super spicy piece, but the fact it's blue is so cool

I've been wanting an explorer for a long time. I have a Swisschamp, and the inline Phillips is one of my most used tools on it. I rarely ever used the saw, file, or scaler, and I saw that the explorer has all the tools I use, minus the pliers.
I've been eyeing it online and at Walmart every time I passed by it, but I just couldn't bring myself to spend 65 dollars on a knife that my current one already has all the tools of.
Well, I found this vintage Explorer in an antique store for 17 bucks! I snatched it so fast when I saw the price.
It's an older one. It has the grey magnifying glass and the screw in the scissors instead of a rivet. But not so old that there's no hole in the awl. And no parcel hook. The key ring is on the corkscrew side instead of the awl side. And the corkscrew has the spiral notch going all the way down.
It's definitely well used, and I will keep it going. Either the previous owner drank a LOT of wine or just untied a lot of knots, but the corkscrew dents on the scale and liner are very prominent. The small knife tip is snapped off, but I'm not too worried about that since i almost always use the main blade. And the tips of the scissors are burnt like I would guess being in a lighter flame?
This I believe is made by Boyd glass company because there were a few other colors if this exact glass figure. They didn't glow, I checked. It was 15 dollars!
I have had this issue going on for almost 3 months now. I have a Galaxy S22 ultra, refurbished from Backmarket, idk if it's important or not. I use Visible wireless.
I have an on and off SIM not provisioned error constantly happening. The weird thing is, it seems to work fine in places I visit regularly and when I stick to a consistent path. I take a walk through town, and when I am walking this path, it works just fine. But if I go to certain buildings or even just like 10 feet from my path, it just refuses to connect even when everyone else around me has service on their phones.
If I slightly deviate the path or change direction, it all of a sudden can't connect and shows no service and SIM not provisioned error. Toggling airplane mode is a gamble whether it works or not. And even then, it could disconnect again in 5 seconds or work all day. It's really inconsistent.
I've tried all the simple fixes online. Toggle airplane mode, clean gold sim card contacts with isopropyl alcohol, update my carriers app, reset mobile network settings, I've even had Visible support themselves reprovision my sim not once, but twice, and the issue still persists.
I am 99% sure my phone is the issue. I put my sim card in another phone that does work, and it worked in it just fine. I put a good sim from another phone in my phone and it didn't work.
Does anyone have any ideas what could be causing it? It's causing me so much frustration
This video has a really high pitch noise, so if you're sensitive, don't listen to it.
We were doing a sewer line replacement, and the moment I got to this customers house, I kept hearing this constant rising and falling high pitch noise. Like, head hurting high pitch. Nobody else could hear it, which sucked because they all looked at me like I'm crazy and hearing things. I was there for THREE HOURS listening to that rising and falling noise nonstop.
I literally asked if I could leave early, which they let me, because the noise irritates me so much and was giving me a headache.
I think it's some kind of rodent deterrent, but it's also unintentionally a young person deterrent too.
I'm happy they at least let me leave so I didn't have to listen to it anymore
I wasn't the one who scooped it. But it smells like a cupboard and not like peanut butter.
I saw the video where Danny was showing the sounds on his Mandala pads, and those were 2 of the sounds. The "f" sound and the echoey "ka" sound happen at 10 seconds.
I'm just curious what it was sampled from if anyone knows
I have a Radiacode and I hear all this talk about "channels", but for the life of me I cannot grasp the explanations of what they are or how they work.
He is so freaking sweet. We named him Smudge. He already knows how to use the litter box as well. His meow is pretty much non existent at the moment because we think he was constantly meowing for mama, and she just never came, and he wore is vocal cords out.

His eyes are also really watery. We are going to take him to the vet for that and get him his shots.

And don't worry, I wash my hands after holding him so I don't spread it to my girlfriend's cats.

He was also seeing himself in the camera and kept getting a closer look.

I love Smudge so much.

He was just doing this for a while.
The plate on the edge where the can opener opens is dented. The can opener does still open all the way, but it's not smooth. Is there a way to fix it?
Never even knew it was a Wenger until I found it and saw the square instead of the shield. That, and it says Wenger on the blade. I looked online and I believe it's the President model, but there are some confusing variations some do and don't have. Mine is just a knife blade and nail file/cleaner. No tweezers, no toothpick, no keyring.
