Hypothetically speaking, do scientists of MCU collect spiderman's webs to make stronger materials since spider webs are stronger than steel? Do you guys think they have an industry out of it?
Veritasium made a video about spidersilk and just watched the new spiderman film, there's so much spidersilk in NYC, some scientists are bound to research that.
What major should I choose based on what I'm interested in?
I don't like biology (too many things to memorize) but I really enjoy genetics, heridity and evolution related chapters. I'm good at physics but veryyyyy bad at maths. I like astronomy, literature and history too. I hate biochemistry and physiology. Also I enjoy PBS Eons and want to study about prehistoric times but idk what that major's name is. Some teachers said geology and one said earth science but I'm very confused.
I want to have a teaching career, become a lecturer in a university so, a phd is required. I don't want to regret my choices and find a subject to study that I'm passionate about.
Watched some clips of this very old anime many years ago
Girl A has crush on boy but boy likes Girl B from another class. Girl A sets them up for date and then boy cheats on Girl B with Girl A, then girl B kills both Girl A and boy.
Girl B had long black hair and they all used flip phones from 2000s.
I watched this movie, didn't finish it, and only remember some scenes years ago.
I was 6 and didnt speak english back then, main character was a blond girl, who is probably adopted, in school the teacher asks her to write something on the board and she just writes XXXX and everyone laughes, a man named Max was there and there was a scene where people gathered books and burned them. Also, she goes to a library to read.
Things that I'm tired of in manhwas
- FL tripping on air: WHY IS THIS EVERYWHERE ITS SO CRINGE, it's not like it happens in one or two manhwas but EVERY ROMANCE MANHWAS HAVE IT HFGGFYDHBNVB
2.Morally Gray MLs: Now, I love me a morally gray/evil MLs, like Nathan(Kneel before me), Matthias(COBYB)etc. and honestly, nothing can redeem their actions and I dont support it even one bit BUT, they are so interesting to read when vast majority of MLs are 1D cardboard cutouts. And I do understand that these dark stories are not for everyone but WHY ARE YOU HATING ON IT IN THE COMMENT SECTION?YOU DONT LIKE IT? JUST WALK OUT BRUH, DONT GET THEM AXXED (Cries in Bastian)
There used to be several etiquettes in online fandoms, if you do not like a certain work of fiction which isnt badly written, just leave and dont leave hate comments, dont leave comments about how a character is trashy, we know that character is trash, that's why we read it. No one follows that rule anymore.
- 1D cardboard cutout MLs: Most MLs I've stumbled upon exists to yearn for FL and has no other motivation and personality traits. Honestly speaking, I'd love it when a man abandons his personality just solely for me but I wouldnt like it because he'd get boring soon. But I get the appeal of it, understandable. But I wish there were more MLs with more personality and motivation, someone who is not a Gary Stu, someone who has normal human emotion.
I'll share a moment I had reading an OI where FL did something which ML misunderstood as wrong (FL Regressed and didnt explain the whole shit) and instead of blindly trusting her, he rightfully got mad. And the entire audience was like "Trash ML" "Sovieshit" etc etc.
For years, we read works by male authors who reduced women's personality and motivations, reduced them to 1D cardboards who exist solely for men only and I'm afraid, we are doing it with our male characters.
Anyhow, I just wanted to rant, do let me know about your thoughts on this and if possible, recommend some good works, I'd really appreciate it!
