What should I do with my eight year old Chromebook that can no longer support Google docs, gmail, or pretty much anything?

The opposite of romance?

Heyo! So, I was wondering if anyone knew any really angsty books. And I mean soul crushing.

Instead of fixing the plotline, the MC just goes through worse things.

For example, instead of a book about how the main character gets cheated on and goes through some personal growth, I want one where they just keep spiraling.

Does anyone know any good peach skin colors for amigurumi?

HEY EVERYONE!

So, I've been making dolls for a while however, I'm going to be starting on designing my own pattern for a character I absolutely adore.

I'm just a little lost on the color to choose.

Generally, I choose peach from loops and threads.

However, that is typically a warm tone. I want to find something in between a white and warm tone to fit my character.

In this picture is the yarn from an already finished doll. However, I'm worried that it's not quite the right color.

What do you guys suggest?

Also!

I do typically work in 4 worsted weight and prefer the loops and threads brand, or things like it. Red heart super saver also works.

I've used a handful of caron yarns but not much.

Btw the Xiao pattern was bought from Etsy.

Here's the link for it!!!!

Before reading this, no, I'm not a bot, yes I'm a real person, yes this happened, and yes I'm looking for answers and not disgusting comments.

I only remember small pieces of my dream but I'm left being really uncomfortable by it. I just woke up and now I feel sick.

So, I had a dream that my sister confessed her love to me. My blood sister. And my dream self didn't want to hurt her feelings but even in the dream I remember being weirded out and a little grossed out.

The issue (other than the glaring obvious one)

Is that when I was younger, around seven, she raped me. She was around 14 at the time.

She moved out of the house at 18 and I hadn't seen her for years. In the last couple of years we've rebuilt our relationship and now it's much more normal. I've even forgiven her a little... It's strange.

But the dream.... It's disgusting. It's bothersome, and I am wondering why I even had something of that nature pop into my head.

I think I just need some help and advice because I'm deeply disturbed.

Can someone help me with understanding how to put the pattern together? Also, yarn recommendations?

So, I haven't really made anything like this before. Usually I make amigurumi so I'm a bit out of my comfort zone.

I want to make something like this pattern

https://youtu.be/2O\_Wntlixsw?si=vML-HWEFMznUi22z

However, I am struggling to understand how one would sew the sleeves on. Maybe it's just me not knowing how clothes work but I would rather understand first before starting the project, y'know?

Also, because I don't typically do clothing, I was wondering if anyone knew any good yarn brands to recommend for this type of project? Preferably nothing TOO too expensive but I am giving myself a decent budget for this.

Does anyone know any patterns for sweaters or cardicans that are a bit more masculine?

So, it's kinda what the title says. Honestly, I've never crocheted clothing other than a scarf and some mittens but I really would want to make a cardigan or something. Ideally, something cozy I could wear inside while doing work.

I'd just appreciate some pattern suggestions since I really only crochet dolls and stuffed animals.

(I'm also kind of scared of how to size something for myself since I've never done it before.)

To be more specific, I was wondering if anyone could help me find patterns with this *vibe* if that's the right way to say it.

Is there a work around?

Mainly, I know I'm not conventionally attractive or attractive as a woman. I've been fairly self aware of this fact but I'm wondering if I should "give up" the idea that I could date someone.

I have short hair, a not ideal body... And the like.

I've been told by other people that I have a good personality, but I have a feeling that there is a difference between the good personality that I have and the personality that someone would wanna date.

I'll admit that it doesn't help that I'm shy nor very stylish. I've been trying to work (on both things) but sometimes I feel as though it's hopeless anyway.

It also doesn't help that I,

  1. Have been mistaken for being a guy

  2. Have most people assume I'm a lesbian

  3. Enjoy either niche hobbies, too many hobbies, or things that are more for "men." I'm studying medial sciences to be a pharmacist, but I've also had an interest in welding, and construction work. It's not the conventional delicate idea of a woman that most men want.

With these factors, I would love to hear some ideas or advice, or if any of you think I should just give up too.

What should I buy

Hey everyone!

For the past couple of years I've been mainly drawing traditionally, avoiding digital art. After trying many different mediums such as oil, charcoal, and watercolor, I'm starting to become more curious about digital art.

I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for what art tablet to buy? I am preferably looking for something less expensive (without a screen) since I am not too tech savvy. On Amazon I did see some prices for tablets around 40 but I was wondering if anyone else had any ideas?

Thanks!

Does anyone know anything green? I have a lot of green yarn 🍃

HELLO!

So, it's as the title says. Lately, I've been making a lot of plant based crochet amigurumi, for example, cacti. Last year I bought a bunch of green yarn to make vines around my room. The project turned out great but now I have a lot of green yarn of different shades lying around. It's not enough to make a blanket or anything, but does anyone have an idea of what I can make?

I generally prefer making stuffed animals or something of the sort
