Is 1k battle a good start after spearhead to try aos?
I ask this because I've heard that aos isn't designed for 1k. But I want to try things before buying stuff for 2k. I think tts might be the answer for 2k?

I used corax white and nihilakh oxide on top. The green on the skeletons themselves and eyes is hexwraith flame. I think I might need a bit more contrast.
This is still wip of course.
Working on a removable longer barrel with bypod support legs and a lego sighting device.
Finally got my hands on magnets. It is a different world now. I recommend this to everyone, as meta and lists may change. Your wallet also will thank you for it.
This is my opinion:
Guard + warden + witchseeker + prosecutor + vigilator.
Even maybe a blade champ instead of one of the custodes
Usually there are no vertus nor venatari in 1k due to price. Now are we gonna see more as they got cheaper, even though they are still quite heavy point wise?
Guards, sisters and caladius arachnus are common in 1k, all got up by points.
People say that in the regular game, the wolf and deer are too op. Is it true? Do the expansions balance it? How is Dartmoor?
The weeping forest is a vast area of an ancient and diverse landscape, both natural and magical. It is named after the many weeping willows inside. The forest is a junction between 5 political entities, and each part inside the forest is autonomous than the rest of the political entity. This allows different parts from different entities to form alliances even though some of the same entities are rivals outside of the forest. The alliances are crucial for the survival inside the forest due to the hostile nature of it.
All of the entities lost areas of control in the forest, as well they lost settlements and many lives. Many settlements became ruins or abandoned. It is not recommended to travel in unauthorized areas without control, yet some expeditions do occur for many reasons. Mysterious monsters and undead haunt the vast, some have been studied, but the majority are still unknown.
It is known that some ancient civilizations preceeded the current civilizations. Not a lot is known from them, but some findings have been discovered. Scripts and archeological ruins.
Even with the hostility of the forest, there is hostility in some of the settlements: puppet lords (that on one hand need to operate according to the political entity, and also in contrast with corrupted courts or dark things that keep them hostage in action), there are secret societies as well, and communities that operate to destroy the "harmony" of the alliances inside the forest.

The two have different points for some same models. Which is the correct one?
After the new edition/reboot, I will see how I will continue the roster. But for now, can I have a reliable warband out of the spearhead?
Edit: I have a proxy for wight king / necromancer.
I got the new venatari for my 40k lists, yet I do not play HH (yet!). Is this a specific thing or just artistic?
Is Draxus risky and rewarding? I am yet to use her, but she gets a lot of love online. But some people told me that her psychic veil harmed their guards more than it benefitted. High risk high reward?
If one of my characters units is putting the lone op in contagion. Does that increases the range of shooting the lone op from 12 to 18 inches?
