These words from this song were never more relevant.

I was listening to this version of Vande Mataram sung by the great Lata Mangeshkar and these words hit me hard. Where we are heading as a nation is really concerning. This is a 1998 song.

Happy Independence day to all of us

Yes, our country has problems but we must not forget the struggle which has given us our independence and we must celebrate that too. Lets come together and fight those who are trying to take away our freedom.

Let's make India shine again.

Now they have started their advertisement in movie theaters as well

It's mind boggling to see how much money they waste on their own advertisements. You will see their advertisements on Print media, electronic media, social media, billboards on roads, petrol pumps, river banks, bus stands, airports, railway stations, even near public toilets🤦 and now movie theaters as well.

If only they had used this money for some real public welfare work, they wouldn't have needed to waste so much money on self promotion, their work itself would've spoken and done their job.

Code name : Stuntmaster

He used to come to my house after crossing another house's compound. Now that house owner has done barbed wire fencing all around his house so our guy's route is blocked. There is an alternate route as well, which is a bit longer so he never took that route but he knows abt its existence.

Other dogs also used to take that shorter route but now they come to that fenced barber wire, stop, wait for some time, think about their further course of action and decide to take the alternate route, but not our guy. Our guy is no ordinary dog, he won't be deterred from his path just because someone has put a wire on it.

The fencing is of multiple rows of wires and there is some gap between two rows, so our guy has identified that gap and decided to jump right through that small gap between the two barbed wires. No other dogs dares to do that, its only him and he does this every single day. These small cuts on his face is a result of that and he treats them as his badge of honour.

Atal Ji had the option of removing this cancer at its very initial stage but he chose not to, sadly.

Had he took action against Modi post the Gujarat riots and removed him from the CM post and initialed a proper & fair criminal investigation, this guy wouldn't have been destroying our country today.

Planning to watch Brand new day and Odyssey back to back. Is this a bad idea??

Kal half-day k chutti hai and I've got the ticket for BND and thinking of adding the ticket of The Odyssey as well. Watching them back to back would make me sit from 3:30 PM to 10 PM almost. Is this manageable, koi headache and pain in the @ss toh nae hoga😭?

P.S. Tomorrow is me ex's birthday as well and I don't want to call her or think abt her. I want to keep my brain occupied and stop it from doing anything which I don't want to do. Is this a good idea?

Does this wire peeking from behind the tv bothers you as well, or am I the chosen one??

I just can't concentrate on anything that is being played on the tv, if any wire like this is peeking from behind. I would go and adjust them, but these wires are so stubborn that they keep falling again🤬

Ajay Jadeja's exploits against Waqar Younis in the QF of CWC'96 [Highlights]

This is the most famous innings that Jadeja ever played in his life!!

He propelled the Indian score to a daunting 287 by smashing Waqar for 22 runs in the 48th over and then 10 more runs in the 50th over before getting dismissed by him. Hitting Waqar for so many runs was considered next to impossible in those days coz he had a toe crushing yorker in his armoury. But Jadeja managed it somehow.

By virtue of this innings we managed to beat Pakistan and qualify for the semis.

The Yuvraj-Raina partnership in the QF of CWC'11 [Highlights]

We are yet to find as deadly a combo as these two in ODIs.

These two could bowl in the middle overs and break partnerships. Stood like a wall in the field, balls couldn't get past them, and their batting in the middle overs was just wow!! They could accelerate when the top order had give a good start and could steady the ship too in case of a collapse.

Indian team misses utility players like them these days.

"Venom" standing true to his name

Venom is the nickname of this joke of a journalist called Aman Chopra. How ironic is this that a guy called "Aman" does nothing but spews hate all the time and tries to create unrest in the society.

I don't know how these guys are able to sleep at night after doing all this during the day.

Which Bollywood movie kept it's plotline perfectly hidden until the movie got released?

For me, it has to be Lagaan.

During the trailer or the entire promotion of the movie, not a single cricket match scene was shown. Everyone was talking about Rehman's music, foreign casts, Amir Khan etc. My child brain thought this must be some boring ass movie abt some villagers fighting the Britishers for independence or something😭😭

But not a single soul knew that the entire second half of the movie is a freaking Cricket Match!!!

Pls share more such surprising movie plotlines which got revealed only after its release.

What's the point of worshiping goddesses when you are going to treat a girl child like this?

No amount of fake puja can absolve them of this sin. They'll rot in hell forever for doing this to her.
