I booked a flight through Priceline (last time I’ll be doing that) and the flight they booked me for leaves at 6am. The flight I’m on is with United. The person I’m supposed to be landing to see won’t be available until 5pm and I really don’t want to kill 9 hours in ohare airport. The ticket is nonrefundable and non changeable. Can I just miss my flight and show up asking to be put on the next flight and say I had a flat tire? I’ve read that they’ll cancel my return flight if I don’t show up for the first one so I wanted to know more before!

Me and the GF are taking a trip from St. Louis down to Joplin through Springfield and are wanting suggestions for good places to stop off and see! A few that are already on the list are the meramac caverns, buccees and the Uranus fudge factory. And others we should check out? We’re thinking along the lines of whimsy/antique stores, great food, and unique charming places to see!
