predicted vs results (and a rant) please indulge me

calc ab - 4 (predicted 5)
apush - 4 (predicted 5)
ap lang - 4 (predicted 4)
apes - 3 (predicted 3)
spanish - 3 (predicted 3)

to rant, i genuinely could give less of a damn about my other ap exams but calc. i truly am so so so depressed over this one. I did horrible in the class (which my teacher says has a 98% 5 rate so beautiful i broke that lol). While my friends were getting As i got a C both semesters with the second semester being literally 0.2% away from a B. I studied day and night for this stupid exam literally falling asleep at my desk just to not clutch a B in the class and NOW on top of that, not get a 5. I understand there is remotely no difference between a 4/5 in college admissions. But for my efforts, and my stress, I would have really loved to see a 5. Also because of the C in the class, i would have loved to submit a 5 to colleges. As someone aiming for the t50s (i have a 800 math and 3.7-3.8 gpa) and genuinely think a 5 on calc would have meant something for me. i am a bit disappointed about ap lang and apush got i got As in those classes but i literally didint study for any of my ap exams EXCEPT CALC. MY BLOOD SWEAT AND TEARS went into this stupid exam and every single one of my friends got a 5 except for me.

sorry for the rant im genuinely going to go cry in the bathroom

to everyone waiting

as a rising senior (who has suffered and taken like 10 exams) i wish you all the best. we've iterally endured a year worth of a course for one SINGULAR test so naturally you may be frustrated if you dont get the score you wanted or believe you deserve. regardless, im manifesting 5s for all of you!!! this community is so cute (since we are all up and midnight and past waiting for results) and many others have noted the same aww.

anyways, worst case worst case you dont feel happy please dont result to partaking in uh certain AP exam punishments and instead know that you can choose to not submit your scores or like a few, retake the exams the upcoming years. ap exam scores are like one of the most minimal things on college applications.

i wish you all an amazing ap exam unboxing day and i manifest all 5s your way!

- a fellow ap scholar <3

What Rating Would You Give CWRU?

I'm a student applying this cycle to cwru for undergrad (and it's one of my top schools) but Im curious as to what you all think! so please indulge this rating system and give cwru a rating on a scale of 10. These are the factors im thinking about but your rating could consist of more:

location
student body
food
prestige
academics/profs
weather (i'm from cali but i really really love cold weather so case is something ideal for me)
dorms
overall!

im finishing spanish tomorrow after the ap 4 exam, how can i still continue being involved in spanish?

im a hs senior wrapping up with spanish classes in school after the ap exam tomorrow. i've been in classes for 5 years now but i actually really enjoy speaking the language and writing (anything but mcq tests). how can i get involved and continue my skills so that i don't lose what i've learned. ideally, i want to become fluent and speak it naturally.

AITAH for getting super mad at my sister the day before an important exam

i have my ap calc test tomorrow yay 😞 ive been studying and reviewing material this whole week and my family and sister know this. a few hours ago, as i was reviewing, my sister (who is showing possible signs of covid, ik she's relatively sick) comes into my room unmasked. i've been wearing a mask and avoiding her ever since she started showing symptoms until now. she walks in, yells at me for eating the last dumpling my mom made that was saved in the fridge and i yell back saying that she's sick and needs to leave; i can't risk catching it or spreading it to others.

and then she waits for a few seconds and SPITS on my face, my calculator, and notebook. curses at me. says i should have saved half for her (mind you she doesn't do this for me) and leaves. and i start running to my mom telling her about this but my mom doesn't care like usual.

and then my sister comes back again, with a bottle of soy sauce and threatens to pour it on my notebook and im like yeah you would never and she actually really does pour soy sauce on my stuff (not a ton but still) and pulls my hair, curses and leaves. and so i pull her hair and my mom comes rushing in as my sister screams and slaps me in the face. (also she twisted my arm slightly so it kind of hurts)

i dont even know bruh

I GOT AN A ON MY FINAL!!!!

ok so this might seem super normal for some of you but for me getting an A (a 96% on my FINAL) is a freaking anomaly i could actually cry tears of joy. my teacher is brutally hard and most kids get like Bs/Cs in the class but get 5s on the exam. I literally ended with a C last semester and got a 40% (1st semester midterm) and 77% (on last semester final). this semester i got a 37% on my midterm where everyone and their mom got like high 80s.

i have like never gotten an A on our unit tests, always in the high 70s

SO THIS A 96 WAS INSANE internally i was like, oh im def not gonna get above a 60 but studied anyways cause i wanted a 5 on the exam and OMG OMG IM SO HAPPY WHEN I SAW THE SCORE YESTERDAY WTF

hi! i'm a college student and have been asked to emcee the wedding games for my cousin's wedding! she and her fiancee are having a small indian wedding of around 50-60 people max. From what she has told me, all the guests are comfortable with games and will participate and there are not many kids coming (if any, teenagers).

here's what i need help with:

  1. I'm planning to emcee games for around 20-30 minutes , please: lmk if thats too short or too long
  2. what games should i host, i want the audience to be engaged but these would be opt-in games so if you aren't interested, no need to play you can watch and socialize in the background (games happening on dance floor/stage)
  3. should there be prizes?

thanks!
