I completed my novel recently and I'm editing it. Even though I have had almost daily contact with it for the last 14 months I still struggle to describe it.

How does this section feel as you read it? Is what is being said clear?
Each home I pass tells two stories. One we are meant to see, and the other is the lie behind that story. We see no people, and yet due to the closeness of the houses, I feel the shadows falling down on me. There is nowhere to escape just like the bazaar.
While the open market is wild, uncouth, and veiled, it is at least honest about its dangers and promises you nothing else. Whereas the residential area is quiet, open, sincere, and clean, but these outwardly happy homes are a farce. This place holds its greatest lies behind closed doors.
Walking carelessly on the road, I hear the snap of some small nothing under my foot, and then a voice from a lifetime ago screams in rage, "Go to bed!"
Steps faltering, I look around in search of the woman who sold me as a child, but as always Mother isn't there anymore.
A few steps further, and my right-hand begins to tremble, hopefully unnoticed, I ask Isla, "We had a good day, right?"
She replies in a soft voice, "We had an amazing day."
Inhale, heartbeat, "Your son is so well behaved, he is the brightest student we have in the entire school." Exhale
Inhale, heartbeat, I ask Isla, "D-did you see everything we ate? I thought Felix would explode."
"Let go of me, you're too old for that. It's disgusting." Exhale
"I didn't believe it, but each course was better than the last."
Inhale, heartbeat, Mother shrieks, "You think you are smarter than me? You think you can stay in this house and be disrespectful?" Exhale
"Isla I was good right? I did some bad, but it's ok, right?"
"Sweetie, what's"
Inhale, heartbeat, "If you are so fucking smart, your dad would still be here." Exhale.

I was recently tasked with making 14 banana/unicorn horns for a girl scout troop. I think 6-8 inches will be tall enough. I am thinking of using headbands to secure the horn to their heads.

Can anyone give me a rough estimate on time
In December 2022 I hated the 2 designer perfumes I owned and that's why I hardly wore them in the 10 years they were mine.

I knew I wanted something better but I had no idea what, nor was unable to sample it as I live eight hours from somewhere I could experience them.
​
I looked online and stopped at Prada Amber Pour Homme. I liked the color. What could I say?

I will say I enjoyed it, but I was curious now so I bought the large ELDO sampler and I had a blast. I bought Frustrated and learned about niche fragrances.
​
People kept saying to sample first, sample first but I didn't and I ended up with a large collection that I only used about half. So I traded, sold or gave away many full bottles.
​
I learned a lot over the years. Now I buy samples then 5ml's or the rare 10ml. Currently between bottles, 5ml, 10ml, and samples I have over 200 scents.
​
For me it's not about the pretty bottles anymore, instead it's the scent. I don't care about finding the ultimate scent, I only want to experience unique fragrances. I know that I am hardly unique in this aspect but it keeps me fascinated.

I once tried to start a death metal band but I hurt my vocal cords and now my my high pitched scream is lacking.
I love to write. I have my main project and two others that are in the wings. I am working on the saddest short story I have ever written. The sun hides behind clouds when it is being worked on.
I am a creative cook but I can barely bake. It's like the gods are mocking me for spoiling my dog.
Dizzy is spoiled rotten and deserves all of it. Do you have pets? Do you have a dream exotic pet? (Weirdo) kidding.
What is your dream travel destination? I just got back from visiting Berkley CA. It was a totally amazing trip.

A few years ago, early into my fragrance journey, I brought a few bottles with me to Germany. Everything went well on the way there, but on the return, I placed my bottle of By Kilian Memento Mori in my leather shoe and thought that would be enough. As soon as I opened my suitcase, I could smell those deep notes and knew I had made a mistake. Luckily, I had the Dr. Scholl's arch support, and it soaked up the perfume, and the shoes were still wearable. Lessons learned.
Tonight, let’s get right down to the interesting stuff.
- It is just the dog and I. Don't worry, he loves everyone.
- I lean left as far as politics goes. It is worrying that we need to add that.
- I am a music nerd, please send me songs, and I will absolutely do the same.
- I am a bit of a maker; I am working on building most of my furniture. The latest piece is a coffin end table.
