Why are my TV recordings being placed in two different areas? Only the last season recordings are found under in the Recordings section under Episodes. The other season recordings are now placed in Broadcast section. It's like this for all TV shows being recorded.

Like Star Trek, for instance. Only my season 3 recordings are populated in Episodes. Any other recordings, are only found in the Broadcast section.

Just today season 1 episode 1 of Love Boat was recorded. Yet if I go to Episodes, the recording is not there. Only season 10 is populated with recordings. I have to go to the Broadcast section to find that season 1 recording.

It still would be irritating but tolerable if the Broadcast section had some organization. But episodes are all over the place. Not arranged chronologically by season and episode. If I'm looking for something specific, I have to scroll through everything to try to find it. This is very inconvenient and disorganized. This is the only platform I've ever seen organized like this

It wasn't always like this. All episodes were found under the Episode section. You could scroll to any season and episode to read the summary. And either view the episode if you had recorded it, or it would indicate when it was set to air and record at some future date. All nice and neatly organized in one area.

The second generation Echo Show 10 I think plays amazingly well. The sound is very rich and bold. I love it. But I need more and it's outdated and no longer sold. I did snag one on eBay but at some point I need to upgrade. I could just buy speakers but I really like having the album art showing while the music's playing.

For those who have had a second generation Echo Show 10 and Echo 11, how does the sound compare? If the sound on the 11 isn't as good, I'm considering buying some cheap tablets and some Bluetooth speakers and creating my own setup.

I probably will buy an 11 and check it out, but I'm just curious what others think. .

Someone asked the question why we decided against infusion for treatment. My reply turned out to be very long, so I decided to make it its own post.

I chose Kesimpta over infusion for a few reasons.

1. Convenience. Getting the shot delivered straight to my home, and administering it to myself was very appealing to me. Scheduling an infusion appointment twice a year doesn't seem like much of a burden until it's time for the appointment. Think about how much we all hate MRIs. It's only once or twice a year but I dread MRI day. You have to allot time on your day to go. The time you are there. The process and procedure can be draining for some.

2. Less of a reminder I have MS. Giving myself a shot once a month versus having to go to an infusion center makes me feel less of the psychological impact of having MS. Anytime I can avoid going to a hospital or medical facility, the better. Like MRI day. going there is such a stark reminder "wow I have this serious condition". Adding infusion appointments with MRI and dr appointments, I would feel like I was always at a medical facility because of my MS. I wouldn't like that. Giving myself a shot once a month at home is no big deal at all. Especially since I'm used to giving myself a GLP-1 shot every week anyway.

3. Travel. I travel a lot between two homes. Being able to have my shot delivered wherever I am is much more facilitating than being tethered to an infusion center. And speaking of travel, I can take my shot with me whenever I go and not have to worry about scheduling a trip around an infusion appointment.

I have asked, and it is possible to get more than one shot at a time if you plan on being away for a while. Most insurance companies will allow a vacation waiver and will approve delivery of more than one shot to take with you. I asked because I was planning a rather lengthy trip and trying to fit the shot delivery schedule into my travel plans was tricky. I didn't end up going, but it's nice to know what my options are for future travel.

4. Steroids. It is my understanding people generally take steroids in conjunction with their infusion. I like to avoid steroids as much as possible.

5. Effectiveness. My research showed Kesimpta on a similar effective level as an infusion, so based on all the reasons above, I chose the shot.

DRAWBACKS to the shot. There are a couple of considerations to having the shot over infusion. That shot sitting in your refrigerator might be worth more than the value of your car, so it must be protected at all costs. Once your shot is delivered, the burden and responsibility is on you to protect it until you use it. I don't know how easy it is to get insurance to cover a replacement shot and I'd rather not find out.

1. Cool Storage. You have to keep the shot refrigerated. So if you travel, you have to make sure you have some way to refrigerate the shot. Use a cold gel pack case for travel day and book shorter direct flights as much as you can. Book hotels/cruise that provide an in-room refrigerator. Some foreign hotels might not provide a refrigerator. On road trips, you have to have some kind of cooler in the car and make sure you have access to ice along the way.

2. Power Outage. If you live in an area that experiences frequent lengthy power outages like I do, you have to account for that. Make sure you have a backup plan in case the power goes out while you have your valuable shot in your refrigerator.

At the house where I have frequent power outages, at some point I'm going to get a whole home generator but until then, this is my backup plan. I have a couple of different backup power sources. A portable 2000kw gas powered generator and two 1000kw battery power units that can be recharged via solar panels or hooked up directly to a car battery.

I bought two small refrigerators. A 7 cu refrigerator that can house all of my important fridge items and can run off of a 1000kw power supply. I use it as a beverage refrigerator in my rec room so it's always cool and ready to go during a power outage. And I got a tiny "emergency shot fridge" that can be plugged into a car cigarette lighter ( I haven't tested this one out yet to see how well it works). If this one works well it's something I will also use on road trips too.

Also good to have friends/family in the area. Your power might be out, but there's might not. You can store your shot in their refrigerator until your power comes back on.

I started getting an irritated bladder like as if I have a UTI. Frequent urination. I even went to the doctor a few times thinking I had a UTI. They initially prescribed some antibiotics but urine cultures kept coming back negative. This has been happening for a few months. I could not understand what was going on. But I noted it seemed to start happening after I got diagnosed. I thought it might be the coffee I was drinking because it would really start in the mornings

Fast forward to a couple of days ago. I woke up with a relatively low bladder irritation. I took my morning medicine as normal, which includes modafinil. And low and behold about an hour or so later my bladder starts getting the irritation. It was such a stark onset it finally caught my attention. When I woke up my bladder was fine now I'm having symptoms. What changed? Wait a minute! It dawns on me, it's the modafinil. And that's why it started after I was diagnosed because that's when I started taking modafinil. And that's why I was happening in the mornings when I thought it was the coffee. I Googled it and bladder sure enough irritation is a known side effect. Ugh!

Modafinil has been a game changer for me so I can't give it up. I'm just going have to find ways to combat the bladder side effects. I'm going to drastically increase my water intake and see if that helps

Recently flew and just prior to boarding they made an announcement. All of a sudden Southwest is claiming a neck pillow counts as a carry-on. And then tried to blame it on the federal government. Saying it's a federal mandate and they have nothing to do with it so don't give them a hard time. Give me a break. LIES. Sell it to some other sucker, sister. Since when does the federal government mandate carry on? Was there a law recently passed that the public is not aware of? Because before they made all these changes there was never any mention of a neck pillow situation.

Please tell me the difference between a neck pillow I wear around my neck and a baseball hat I wear on my head. Or a jacket? Make it make sense. As soon as we sit down that neck pillow is coming out of whatever bag they force you to cram it into. So what exactly did that solve. Are people putting neck pillows in the overhead bin taking up room. Maybe people are bringing on neck pillows so big it's encroaching on neighbor space. 🙄 Or maybe Southwest is just making changes for the hell of it just to make people's lives miserable. I've never ever had any other airline tell me my neck pillow counts as a carry-on.

TLDR: Terminal 1 sucks

Maybe I have an irrational hatred for Terminal 1 but I despise it. Unfortunately National is my closest airport and Southwest is the only airline there that flies direct to Houston Hobby, where I frequently travel. So I'm stuck in Terminal 1 purgatory every two months. I know a new terminal is in the works but my God it can't come fast enough. Unfortunately I've heard a 10-year time estimate though. Another decade of hell awaits. I feel almost held in airport jail in that terminal. Particularly knowing what's on the other side of the airport in the glistening, glamorous part. It's like the other side of the airport is business class and we're in steerage.

How do I hate thee? Let me count thy ways:

1. No canopy cover. The moment you arrive you already know misery is ahead. The number of times I've had to get out and manage luggage in the rain makes my heart bleed. Or standing in the rain to wait for pickup. I mean my God even gas stations protect you from the elements while you pump gas, but a national airport can't?!

2. Two curbs over for pick up and drop off. I love an airport (like the glamor side of National) where you can pull up at the curb in front of the terminal. When you're traveling solo and have to manage two large suitcases, a carry-on and a personal bag crossing over a lane of traffic sucks. I usually have to leave one suitcase behind while I run the other ones over and then come back and get it. And then add having to do it in the rain is awful. Then I'm wet going into a cold terminal. Not fun.

3. Uphill into the terminal. What genius thought that was a good idea? Most of the time I'm able to use the curbside check-in to offload my luggage, but occasionally it's closed. Then I have to pull heavy luggage uphill into the terminal. My elderly father struggled with it. And I feel sorry for anyone having to push someone uphill in a wheelchair with luggage. Then coming out of the terminal going downhill, I have to be careful not to have runaway luggage cart when it's stacked high with heavy bags.

4. As you enter uphill into the terminal, pay particular attention to the only two luggage carousels on the left. Because that will be impactful when you return and have to wait 30 minutes for your luggage to come out. And what do they do with the baggage handling there? They've torn up so many pieces of my luggage.

5. Lack of amenities. You know how the other side of the airport has glorious restaurants and bars and shops to while away the time. In comparison, Terminal 1 looks like communist Russia. There is really nowhere to go and nothing to do than stand around (more on that later) and wonder why your life choices brought you to Terminal 1. Yeah there's that little French restaurant jammed into a back corner that you'll easily walk by without giving it a second glance with the idea that there must be better things ahead. Until you realize with great dismay, there isn't. Oh they threw us a bone by putting that little counter service establishment in the middle that's always full with not much to offer. You wonder from what mystery, behind the scenes area your food is being prepared. Can some waiter please post footage to show us exactly where our food is coming from. It's like some secret chamber back there.

6. Bathrooms. Would it be too much for them to at least update the bathrooms? I mean give us something . But no, the bathrooms are delightfully original and so is the lighting. You want to see what a 1940s bathroom looks like? Go to National Airport Terminal 1; they're there waiting for you. But I will say they're generally clean.

7. Small gates areas. Remember I mentioned there would be some standing involved? Well that's because there's hardly any seating. It's like Hunger Games to find a seat. You're anxiously waiting for any of the gate areas to board so you can run over there and grab one of their seats.

8. Poor acoustics. The terminal is like an echo chamber. You can't understand anything being said on the loudspeaker. They could be telling you to evacuate due to an emergency and all you would hear is something about hating Gen Zs (don't we all). All I know if I start to see people running, I'm just going to get up and follow. I'll ask questions later.

9. Uphill terminal hallway from gate area. What's with this airport and inclines? It's slight but noticeable. I have MS and sometimes my legs don't work as they should and having that incline coming from the gate areas adds a little extra effort . And my elderly father struggled with it a little bit. I would take his bags to ease the load for him. All I know is that new terminal better be flat.

Sigh. This rant comes after having flown out of National yesterday on a rainy day. Flight was delayed due to weather so I had plenty of time to think about how much I hated that terminal.

Is there any setting that will prevent Onn from turning on my TVs after a power outage? After a power outage, even if the TVs were off, Onn will turn the TVs back on when the power comes back on. Like this morning, I woke up to all my TVs on because we had a power outage during the night. So not only were all my TVs on for however many hours, I had to go around to each TV and turn them back off. I travel a lot, so I have to unplug all the Onn devices from every TVs so it doesn't do it while I'm gone. It's such a pain. My Fire Sticks didn't do this, just Onn.

It wouldn't be as bad if they would automatically turn off after being idle for an hour like I have them set to do, but for whatever reason when they come back on it doesn't detect it being idle so it just stays on.

When my lawn service is here I want to quickly hit a button to snooze all the cameras for like an hour to stop getting notifications. Is there a way I'm not aware of to globally snooze all the cameras at once? It's so tedious to have to snooze each camera one by one.

I know I can globally disarm the entire system but I don't want to do that. One time when I was out of town, I turned off the system to stop a barrage of notifications and forgot to turn it back on. Not realizing the cameras were off, I didn't have footage of something I needed to check on.

Other features request: being able to set up a notification alert to remind when the cameras are disarmed would be useful too. Like after a few hours of the system being disarmed, it sends out a notification reminding that the system is disarmed. That would have saved me.

However I did just realize I could set up a schedule where the system automatically arms itself at a specific time. So at least if I forget to turn it back on, at some point the system will automatically rearm itself.

Their Supreme pizza has been our go to pizza for over 20 years. We even stopped getting takeout pizza because we loved DiGiorno's more. It was a saucy, flavorful pizza. Crust so good I'd saved the ends for last to savor because I loved their bread.

Maybe about 6-7 years ago they changed. Whenever they went from the easy open plastic to the fully sealed plastic wrapping. The pizza got a little smaller. The cheese got thinner. Pizza got drier with hardly any sauce. The crust is now very bland and tastes completely different from the old crust. I throw my ends in the trash.

I am currently eating my last ever in life slice of DiGiorno's because it is so bad I will never buy it again. It was bad before but this current Pizza I'm eating is horrific. It is the last straw. I enjoy the pizzas I make with some sauce on naan bread better than this. I'm going to try some of the pizza dough from Trader Joe's and see what I come up with

Why are companies ruining their pizzas? That is rhetorical question because obviously they're doing it to cut corners because as always, it's money over quality. But how expensive is some tomato sauce? And some seasonings.

I went to the dentist today for a teeth cleaning. My hygienist asked for any medical updates, I told her I was diagnosed with MS and was taking Kesimpta, which is a B-cell depleter and thus I'm immunocompromised now. She asked me if I took antibiotics for the appointment. She has some clients who are immunocompromised and have to take a high dosage of antibiotics before dental work.

Is that a thing? Do people on DMTs have to be careful with dental procedures? I did recently read a post from someone who said they had to delay starting Kesimpta to get a root canal. Or something like that.
