The Zonderia channel and possible Human-Made Lo-Fi Mixes for Charity?

Hey all!

Wanted to share this here to both gauge some potential community interest and soft pitch a project idea

I heard of the Zonderia channel a few months back ( for context, its u/ecogeek 's project posting long-form relaxing/sleep-assisting audio where all the proceeds to to charity.)

It's a really interesting project to me, in part because I'm a musician and community organizer for r/LoFiHipHop , and we do something super similar but with long-form music projects for charity.

We've worked with some notable Youtube channels over the years, as well as animators and even game studios, with our most recent big project being a Lo-Fi vinyl release with Glitch Productions for their show "The Amazing Digital Circus" that stands to raise a good 25k for Doctors without Borders when all is said and done.

In short, our whole schtick is making these kinds of albums for the fun of it and then donating the proceeds, which seems very in the spirit of Zonderia

So, would that be something people might be interested in? We'd love to throw together some bespoke music mixes for sleep or just relaxing, maybe even do a 24/7 stream. Seems like a lot of fun. (Also hate that we have to specify 'human-made' but with all the Gen AI music spam channels on Youtube these days its an unfortunate clarification)

Hard to believe it, but the r/LoFiHipHop x Glitch Productions collab album is now available on vinyl!

Years of work and arranging collabs. Never would have thought it would have reached a point where we have a real vinyl in stores

A new, crazy volume of bot comments on every post?

r/relax has been getting some more activity which is great, but seems like an unclear percentage is just bots

Vaguely tangential comments that are distinctly inhuman are popping up in mass, some from new accounts, some from older ones

Save for an automod removing low karma and newly made accounts (which usually just ends up in us getting frustrated modmails of people saying theyre not bots) how can we combat this? Because rn tbh its way to many to manually remove

Im stuck in the camcorder after beating the act 1"final(?)" Boss on steamdeck?

Just beat Leshy and got to the camcorder segment. After watching the first clip... there doesnt seem to be a way to back out to watch the rest?

I tried every button and command on the steam deck and im just kinda stuck, do i need to open this up on my desk top to proceed through this segment ooorrrr idk I feel like im missing something

No AI allowed on r/Relax, fullstop

The subreddit has received an uptick of spam accounts posting Gen AI images of "relaxing content"

Nothing about gen AI is relaxing, and using it to deceive people just to karma farm spam accounts is deeply depressing

Didn't think we'd need this rule here but AI content is officially banned and will result in a permaban for these spam accounts

Report it if you see it!
