Jupiter C+ doing a good job

Jupiter C+ doing a good job

For a budget setup this is my favorite set up, I even prefer it to Ecoflow Stream Ultra X that I have. Obviously Ecoflow can push 2300w to the grid but it's more expensive and battery is only 3.8kw probably 3.5kwh usable and expansion almost a price of a second Jupiter.

Anyway it early in the morning and my Jupiter is doing a great job. I'm charging my Anker Solix F1500 now so load is high while utilizing the solar harverst. Only pitty is we can't stop battery to stop charging at 90% and no temperature reading which is disappointing and Marstek point blank refuse to incorporate this into the system.

I'm also considering Venus D due to higher grid output and it's price but availability is low.

Jupiter C+ with Marstek 2000w inverter

Down anyone know if these two Marstek products would work in parallel to increase grid output. I'm fully registered for grid export but I chose DIY route simply due to costs.

I'm using Shelly Pro 3em which works 10x better then Mastek CT meter in my opinion. If I could run 2 devices at the same time my house loads would be fully covered

ProJoy Micro inverter

Hi, has anyone got ProJoy Micro Inverters?

They are quality built inverters from 800w to 3000w for direct plug and play into AC but their app is atrocious. Really backwards type of App. They claim zero grid export but I don't know how this is achieved when app doesn't have any settings for CT meters.

I purchased it at a good price and tested and works flawlessly pushing out full 1600w into the grid but the problem is their zero grid set up. No manual, no nothing. Otherwise a well built quality system in my opinion even better then hoymiles that I tested but their integration lacks big time?

Any advice is welcome

Way to downgrade to A16

Is it possible to downgrade GoS to A16 and stop updating it?

Since I updated mine, well automatic updates did, my GOS is a mess. App crashing left, right and centere. And I know half is probably weird A17 shit, but it's super annoying to come from fully perfect working device to constantly crashing apps. And every day a new app crashed. Whatsapp is the biggest thing for me. It crashes regularly, especially midst typing then I have to restart so I'm rsorting to type short messages to avoid that.

SMS from Google crashing too and my device doesn't meet any integrity which before it did so some banking apps are now a problem. Plus cellular tower notifications have gone completely even tho enable but with Android 17 this is set to :FALSE so we don't get them any more. Not sure if devs can change that like A16 to :TRUE so we keep getting cellular switch over notifications.

Also I can update Google play store so my meta glasses won't import images due outdated play store. My version is 52.0.22.31, can people check what's their Google play version?

Thanks. Be nice to get this ironed and I don't want to spam GOS tracker as too many issues to list but asking here Incase user error.

What I need to do to meet at least basic integrity? Thanks

Notifications for cellular Identifier disclosures

Hi GrapheneOS team,

Since updating to Android 17, I no longer receive Safety Center notifications for Cellular Identifier Disclosures.

From comparing the Android 16 and Android 17 AOSP telephony code, it appears the framework now suppresses disclosures that the modem classifies as benign and only surfaces those classified as THREAT_IDENTIFIER_TRUE.

As a privacy-focused user, I found the Android 16 behaviour much more useful because it informed me whenever my IMSI/IMEI was disclosed during network attachment, even if that disclosure was expected. For example, I intentionally rotate IMSIs using Cape Privacy SIMs, and Android 16 reliably notified me when a new network attachment exposed the identifier. Since Android 17, those notifications have stopped entirely.

I understand Google's rationale for reducing notification fatigue, but on GrapheneOS many users prefer maximum visibility into what the cellular network is doing rather than only seeing events that the modem has already judged to be suspicious.

Would it be possible to add an optional setting, perhaps under Security & Privacy or Cellular, that allows users to choose between:

Notify only for modem-classified threats (current Android 17 behaviour)

Notify for every Cellular Identifier Disclosure (similar to Android 16 behaviour)

This would preserve the default Android behaviour while giving privacy-conscious users the option to receive all disclosure events.

If this isn't technically possible because the Pixel modem firmware no longer reports routine identifier disclosures, it would be helpful to know whether the limitation is in the vendor firmware or in the Android framework.

Thank you for considering it.

Mudi 7 stuck on DE regulation

Mudi 7 (GL-E5800) appears to ignore Wi-Fi country selection (GB) and remains locked to DE

Hi GL.iNet,

I think I've found a possible firmware issue with the Mudi 7 (GL-E5800).

Firmware / Model

- Device: GL-E5800 (Mudi 7)

- Region: EU model

- Latest firmware

Issue

I changed the Wi-Fi country from Germany to United Kingdom.

Using SSH:

uci show wireless | grep country

returns:

wireless.wifi0.country='GB'

wireless.wifi1.country='GB'

wireless.wifi2.country='GB'

However,

iw reg get

still reports:

phy#0 (self-managed)

country DE: DFS-ETSI

The global regulatory domain changes, but the Wi-Fi PHY remains on DE.

Observations

- "uci" successfully stores GB.

- "iw reg get" still reports DE.

- "wifi reload" and reboot do not change this.

- "iwinfo wlan1 txpowerlist" causes a segmentation fault.

- The kernel log shows the Qualcomm regulatory subsystem handling regulatory events internally (WMI/REGULATORY messages), suggesting the radio is using a self-managed regulatory domain rather than the OpenWrt configuration.

Question

Is this expected behaviour?

If not:

- Is there another location where the Wi-Fi country code must be changed?

- Is the Qualcomm Wi-Fi firmware overriding the OpenWrt UCI setting?

- Is this a bug in the current firmware?

I'd also like to know whether the EU model should honour GB or whether it is intentionally fixed to DE.

Effectively this unit is not fit for purpose of firmware is locked on DE firmware as GB regulations are different and they allow different 5ghx channels as opposite to Germany. So 100 onward channels are all DFS and not available in UK while they shoud be therefore TX power is highly limited.

Any guidance would be appreciated.

Thank you.

OBD11 Ultimate Pricing

This not a rant but just seeing if worth extending.

Last year I paid 149€ for ultimate pack sub this year it's gone up to 249€.

OBDeleven worked well on my previous SFD1 car but now with new SFD2 car Obdeleven is pretty much useless, and considering they up the price by almost 70% where is the value. Carista is literally half the price and they also work on SFD2.

I don't know of SFD2 works as of yet but Ultimate price is just in case compared to last year. Don't think I'll be renewing if SFD2 doesnt work. At this stage is cheaper to buy tokens for 90m and work with your VCDS then paying those guys the insane price. What's everyone thinking?

Mk8. 5 R ACC issues

Guys does anyone find all this autonomous shit as annoying as it can be. Infotainment is absolutely rubbish. I changed from 25 RS3 to a new R and this stuff drives me mad. Car brakes for me , almost cause an accident pulling on the road while sensors picked up a bypassing car on the other side and full on jammed on the brakes. Parking is impossible without sensors going nuts and emergency braking. Never had this issue with older vags and 25 RS3.

The problem is once you turn the features off, they come back after restart. And SFD2 coding not available.

Considering giving this car back this driving restrictions are pure nuts

Flint AX repeating of Spitz AX

Hi, wondering if someone can help me. I have spitz AX as standalone home WiFi fully set up with WR VPN and works flawlessly ( ridiculously faster then my Mudi 7 btw)

However the issue I have since I ditched the Huwei CP pro 3, im now using Spitz AX solely which is located upstairs on a window sill and im getting speeds of 300-400mbps.

So for a flint AX180) not to go to waste I set it up downstairs in a repeater mode and its using Spitz AX internet to further increase the range in the house and cover all my Wifi Cameras.

The problem i have is that Flint AX continuously drops internet.

The flint alone is set up as original, with no VPN as its broadcasting VPN trough Spitz anyway so im covered that way and the internet around the house is bulletproof, but that only if it works.

The problem is it keeps disconnecting from Spitz or loosing connection. I played with DNS settings on Spitz to try to rectify the problem but still the same.

Im not sure if Spitz keeos changing its mac address and then Flint struggles to lock on.

If anyone runs the same set up can you please share how to fix this to get a stable internet.

I used ChatGbt but its giving me various nonsense so Im not sure where im going wrong. Thanks in advance MP.

Mudi v7 and Spitz AX

Im a few months user of Mudi 7 which I order when they were first released.

Quite happy with it, in addition to my Flint AX and now I ordered a Spitz AX as I find certain limitations to Mudi 7 mainly due not having a global modem as opposite to Spitz Ax. I did consider Puli AX which seems to be identical to Spitz AX but with battery. Battery is non issue as I use it with powerbank anyway same as my Mudi in order to save the battery and stop overheating.

The lack of battery does not bother me as I will be using power supply and suction cup attached to my window for best reception what Mudi 7 lacks as well as I can travel anywhere in the word and use it there, plus having repeater option, fastest processor this is a win win with 4x mimo antenas range should be significantly improved.

I will document differences and speed when it arrives to compare them like for like.

So far I have not yet experienced Wifi 7 from Mufi 7 only wifi 6, but having both devices this will not be a problem as I can tether.

Also if anyone wants I have a discount code due to accumulation of GLInet points if someone wants a 10-15% discount from GlInet let me know

Thanks

Mudi 7 Screen protector & TS9

Since there's no protectors available yet for mudy 7, I had to improvise and I used car ppf film all over the front body as I found that the plastic scratches very easily and screen is extremely sensitive to scratches. I've already picked up some minor scratches from just being in the case rubbing against the zipper.

See the images below. It works really well. It protects the screen and the whole front body and I will do the sides as well.

The big question is antenna, I'm trying to improve the signal in my house and I've already ordered two antennas with ts9 connectors, but I found they're extremely hard to insert. I didn't want to force them in because they look really fragile and soldered onto the board. I know they're a push and click, but the force requires to put them in as an immense force so I don't want to risk breaking the board.

I found Netgear sell some some ts9 antennas for their routers 4G and 5G specifically. Or is there any other antennas that you guys might recommend? I found Amazon to be extremely crap antennas and especially cheap Chinese connectors.

Last antenna I've ordered actually brought a signal DB down instead of improving it, so I think out of the box antenna is quite good. But I would like to improve the reception because in my house 4G and 5G is quite weak.

I'm using Huawei 5G CP Pro routers as a main hub which don't have antenna connectors unless you modify them.

But this unit is generally a savage unit, as I'm already familiar with flint router I've been using for some time, so I'm familiar with the interface.

I also found using it just as a repeater. It gives much better performance than Huawei on a longer range. I have the EU version and hope this will work in the US for travel as my last zte mu5120 was completely useless in the states. Zero signal as none of the bands were compatible and I've tried my own network and tried couple of SIM cards in the US and none of them worked. I hope this is not the case with Mudy 7.

Anything can be done to open the valves on 8.5 2026? With SFD2 locked this car is a disaster compared to previous model where you could modify everything. Its got full Akra exhaust from factory yet sounds like a yaris with twin OPFs and catalytic converter. At least opening the valves could make it a bit louder. As valves even in race mode only open above 4K

Thanks
