Hello,

Last year I took the AMC 12 as a sophomore and got a 55 (no prep). Now, I've been learning the concepts for the AMC, although I haven't taken a mock yet. I'm currently in Calc 3, and I have a strong algebra foundation and a decent geometry foundation.

The main problem I encountered last year was that I didn't know number theory or counting probability (I didn't even know how to do permutations), so I've been learning those concepts.

Is AIME qualification possible if I study about 4 hours a day until the test, or do I need to study more?

Along with that, what are some good resources to learn these concepts from start to finish?

does anybody have any experience with crogman for phy 130? i’m a high school dual enrolling, and was wondering if there is any chance i can get the class? does he add more students than the set 39?

Hii I’m so sorry this question may seem really stupid but is mauvika supposed to lose nightsoul when u sprint during her cdc combo? my mauvika loses nightsoul everytime i sprint, and i’m just wondering how to prevent this. i play on mobile so i find it especially hard to learn lol.

Hello, this year (sophomore) i took ap world history alongside 3 other aps. my teacher was horrible, and genuinely didn’t teach me a SINGLE THING. along with that, i spent the majority of the last half of april + some of may finishing up my csp portfolio and my seminar presentations, so i didn’t get to studying for world until may 1st, exactly 1 week before the exam. in the end i got all 5s, so if you have any questions please ask! even if you see this post a year later you can ask questions. i will probably respond.

general study plan:

1. read princeton review book
2. watch heimler on what i just read
3. explain the concept to my friends
   right before the exam i took 1 full length practice exam, as well as 1 extra mcq set.
   this post is mainly for people who are cramming lmao if you have a lot of time to study then my insight might not be as helpful.
   i also took notes on my phones notes app but i doubt they’d be decipherable because i was in such a rush.

I'm somewhat proficient in basic Python, I'm learning C++, and I've been experimenting with the Elegoo starter kit. I'm also trying vibe coding for the first time just for fun, so for my first project I used Lovable to build a website with a built in AI for research purposes.

The idea is that you type in your research question and the AI searches through different databases (I could only find free API keys for [ClinicalTrials.gov](http://clinicaltrials.gov/), OpenAlex, PubMed, Semantic Scholar, arXiv, Europe PMC, Crossref, DOAJ, OpenAIRE, and Zenodo), then rates how well researched the topic is, gives a timeline of the research, and lists any gaps in the existing research. There's also a social feature where you can create a group and work together with others.

I'm genuinely wondering if this is a useful feature, because I feel like any AI could already do what I'm building. If it's not that useful, are there other directions somewhat similar to my current website that I could pivot it toward? Or are there any other features I could add to my app to separate it from what currently exists?
