Positive ANA negative titers

Hello!
I guess I am just curious what does one do if you have a positive Ana but then your titters come back as less than 1:80 with no pattern- essentially negative. Especially if you are symptomatic not only physically but it’s really ironic my iron panels have plummeted for no reason, along with elevated liver enzymes. Maybe it’s unrelated

How does one advocate for themselves in this situation and not get blown off?? I was pretty much told it’s not bad enough yet for rheumatology to do anything.

rheumatologist near me Oak Lawn/ Orland Park- willing to travel

Hello, I recently had labs drawn and have a positive ANA along with other abnormal labs. Looking for a recommendation on a rheumatologist in the south suburbs of Chicago. They seem to be few and far between. Thanks!

Elevated blood sugars on Vyvanse

Sooo weird question but has anyone experienced while taking Vyvanse their blood sugar /a1c rise???? I had my a1c done in October it was 5.1, and then today it was done again due to problems I was having- to rule out diabetes. It jumped to 5.7. There have been absolutely no changes in my diet since starting Vyvanse in December. Also my BP was ever so slightly elevated l, so I think I’m just gonna discontinue the meds. :/

Dislike being a mom

Does anyone find themselves thinking to themselves how much they just don’t like being a mom most days? The tantrums have become out of this world, food refusal all of a sudden, same thing day in and day out, the constant climbing all over me then somehow managing to bite or pull hair. It’s like nothing I do seems to click to this kid that we don’t pull hair or bite, he just does not give a F. My husband works a lot/ travels for work often- so it’s really just me 80% of the time, especially during the week. I’m a first time mom, I feel guilty I feel this way but I am just burnt out from all ends. 😥

Emotional when wearing off

I am curious if anyone else gets super emotional, like sad, depressed or even sometimes angry for no apparent reason when their vyvanse is wearing off???? I take it about 7am and usually by 2/3pm I can totally feel my mood shift. Every single day. & I think I finally put the connection together that it’s my Vyvanse.

17 month old won’t scribble

Any other suggestions on how to teach a toddler to scribble??? I have been working on this periodically since about 15 months old. My son is now 17, and will not scribble. He would rather eat the crayon. So I tried chalk- eats it, tried markers- eats it.. and I tried jumbo crayons- you guessed it- eats it. So I bought him one of those magnetic doodling boards. Has zero interest in it. Is there an easier way to make the light bulb go off? I’ve been doing it with him and it’s just not clicking

16m going on 17m- screams at bedtime now

All of a sudden the last few nights, no matter how short or long the wake window is in the afternoon. Once my son realizes that we are going in his room to try and go to bed, he screams bloody murder.. I don’t get what is going on. 😵‍💫😵‍💫

16 month old low ferritin- not getting better

Has anyone ever dealt with their child having low ferritin? He is not a big milk drinker. The first blood draw a few months ago his ferritin was 8, on the repeat draw this morning it came back at 7. All of the other labs were fine. I make sure he gets iron rich foods everyday & it doesn’t seem to be helping. How do you determine if there’s an underlying cause or if it’s diet related?? He’s only 16 months old..

Snapdragons, what’s the deal with them

Hello, I am new to the world of trying to keep plants alive. I don’t understand why my snapdragons are starting to look so sad. They are in partial shade and get a solid 6ish hours of sun plus shade. They are getting water daily and I just added some fertilizer to them yesterday to help. If my gram was alive I would call her buuuuuuut the best I got is Reddit lol

16 month old fighting 1 nap randomly after ear tubes.

16 months. Has anyone experienced after after having a surgery.. we were on 1 nap for a long time. then the last few weeks he has been back to wanting 2 naps a day?? We used to wake up at 7am, then nap at 12-2 ish. Bed time at 7/7:30 ish.. slept all night never a big deal.

And now all of a sudden, ever since my son had his ear tubes placed 2 weeks ago—- he is up at 6:30, wanting to fall back asleep by 8:30 (I cap it at 1.5hr). . Then an short afternoon nap at 1:30 for about an hour.. I keep trying to stretch the morning back to normal but it seems next to impossible.

SAHM, husband travels frequently- I’m burnt out

If you are a SAHM and your partner travels for work, how do you survive?? My husband recently was promoted and does a lot of traveling now. Our family is no help, so it’s really just the two of us. It’s really starting to wear me down. I feel like I’m stuck in autopilot & survival mode every day. The last so many months it’s been hard to find joy in doing things I used to do for fun. 12-18 months is rough and then to do it 24/7 with no break from our son while he’s gone- is just really hard. I feel like I’m having a midlife crisis all while trying to balance solo parenting frequently 😵‍💫

Confused about app

Sooo, my husband bought me the bird feeder for Mother’s Day. I set it up Thursday/ couldn’t get any notifications/ my moments to record.. all day Friday it was fine.. then Saturday/Sunday/ Today it’s back to no recordings or notifications…. Is this just how the app works? I know there was a server issue but it’s annoying I cannot get it to work when it was that much money. I could’ve gotten a regular bird feeder at this point

Tried everything- not getting notifications

Hello,
I just recently bought the bird feeder. I was able to start seeing the videos show up in my moments but I can’t get the notifications to come to my phone. I’ve checked every setting in my phone, and the app. Subscribed to what I needed subscribe to. I even reconnected the device. Anyone have any tricks or have had this happen to them?

How do we stop the biting 🥴 my 16 month old is a biter: I’ve always chalked it up to teething because I’ve notice it’s worse when he’s cutting a tooth but will still do it: I’ve tried it all and it just won’t stop 😵‍💫
