Detroit Axle Shocks

Wow! I bought the kit with the UCA and shocks and wow I thought installed something wrong! I doubled checked everything then eventually after a few weeks of driving with a STIFF front end and barely being able to drive over 65mph on a “rougher” highway surface.

I finally broke down and bought some KYB shocks.

I first noticed the difference with both shocks uninstalled how much stiffer the Detroit axle was.

The KYB drive amazing!! All the hard ride is gone.

Please stay away from Detroit Axle! Buy cheap and will have to buy twice.

Pure Lithium?

Did I hit the pure lithium in the battery?

This is a power stack Dewalt.

When I scratched it with a screwdriver it smoked and arced out.

How much camber adjustment on stock LCA? 5th gen

Changed shocks and now have positive camber.

How much camber adjustment do the stock LCA and bolts have?

Are these adjustable or do I need the eccentric?

Car is stock height, struts were KYB

2003 Ford Ranger shakes over micro bumps in road, what suspension needs replaced?

2003 Ranger, new upper control arms, new shocks, new tie rods, new sway bar links…

However, I still feel every small micro bump in the road…

The steering wheel doesn’t shake, the truck just feels “not tight” like something is going to fall off.

It’s purely in the front end..

I’m thinking the only wear component I didn’t change is the bushings on the lower control arms…

What else could I be missing?

Truck handles fine around turns and large bumps, in fact it’s very smooth. It’s just the micro bumps..

127k miles on the truck, I still want it to feel “tight” am I asking to much?

Fake Sale?

Home in my neighborhood been on the market since March 24, 2024 for 659,900.

Then finally price decrease to 569,000 in March 4, 2026. Where it “sold” over ask for 580,000 on April 21, 2026.

Home is owned by a Wall Street investor type always been a rental home.

Meanwhile other homes in the neighborhood are 40-50,000 cheaper but haven’t sold.

What is the benefit of a fake sale?

Took full advantage of the points unlimited which was 2,000 points in every stay.

Now it’s expiring today.

How often does Hilton do these type of rewards?

Seems they are really hidden on the website, I think I just came across navigating the website.
