As a Phainon main I completely agree with the doomposting and he absolutely deserves it, but my Mydei would need E6 S5 on the whole team to compete atp, counter-agenda posting because my E2 merchant deserves some GOAT acknowledgement

After a bit of personal research, I came to a kinda shocking conclusion.

Ashveil is an RMC sidegrade, more often than not, worse.

This will go very indepth for the people that want the specifics, but the tldr is: RMC gives more Gil ults, way better amp (WITH THE RIGHT BUILDS) to the point it outclasses Ashveil's personal DPS.

The problem with Ashveil is that bro has 0 synergy with Gil, he cycles energy well, but not amazingly, his buffs are mediocre unless you have E2 Blade, the main reason he's considered good in the team is his personal damage and synergy with Blade, after looking into it I found out that... the main real reason Ashveil is bis for this team, is his def shred, allowing for a perfect 100% def ignore for Gil which is the main reason why even tho his buffs are mediocre, he still comes out as a good amplifier... but if all that you need is def shred, there are other sources.

So I tested out Gil with Phainon's LC and 4pc quantum first, suddenly RMC was performing better than Ashveil, even without quantum weakness, as the def shred loss wasn't big enough, that said I mainly tested this against Graphia, as she is the best matchup for both Ashveil and RMC respectively, having quantum weakness and being a single target lightning weak fight, being an optimal condition for both team setups. RMC's turn advance helps Gil generate ults faster by a decent degree, the value is even higher if you have E1 Gil and make use of his fixed energy on GoB,

That said, needing Phainon S1 to enable this rubbed me the wrong way so I tried out an alternative, replace Blade's sig with Pearl LC for nearly as much def shred, and go back to Aeon on Gil, and this was the most surprising thing, even tho I dropped 2 cost, the team BARELY performed worse, Gil maybe lost like 10% final damage (I hit 6 mil Gil ult in that screenshot with previous setup) but it wasn't enough to change the outcome of the fight, it still performed way better as a pseudo 1 Cost team (if you got Gil and HuoHuo for free) VS an E0 S1 wheelchair team.

I don't have Gil's sig, with it the Ashblade team would've probably performed a bit better, but so would the low cost Gil team.

The reason I cannot entirely rule out RMC as being downright better than Ashveil is because boss matchups definitely matter, you won't always have quantum weakness which will lose you damage, I didn't test this across all endgame, but in Apoc I do feel like Ashveil was a bit better with the ult resets (except for the banacademy boss, where RMC still outperformed)

Also consider that this is with Ashveil S1, without it the difference would be even bigger.

Lastly, the RMC team is way harder to play and optimize, if you just turn on auto I have 0 doubt the Ashblade team clears better, against Graphia I didn't manage to get a 1 cycle with Ashblade in any of my testings altho I definitely think it's possible, and it took me a bit of time to get used to the RMC setup, but once I did, even with poor RNG with Graphia, it was a very consistent 1 cycle with some overkill.

The fact you can immediately compare him to one of the Knights of the Roundtable was awesome, the thing I MOST wanted to see in the original Fate collab was Saber interacting with Argenti and I was so sad we never got that.. I won't read the post replies just because I haven't finished the event yet and I don't know if he'll show up again, but have a pleasant discussion my friends!

I just pulled E1 Cerydra for my Seele, went against AA Knight 1 and tested it out, I was wondering why for some reason I was clearing slower.. than I look at my buffs and notice that Nightshade was GONE the second I went into wave 2, I've played her a ton and I have never seen this happen before, and I've played Seele in cases where I'm running hyperspeed Sunday/Sparkle going ham on an elite to clear some AA knights without ever dropping the buff.

I am like 99% certain they added a turn limit when it just was not there before, in which case this is a really bad precedent. I felt the need to actively change up my gameplay around this buff by mixing mob kills and targeting the elite without being able to direct all my attention to an elite at a time.

Edit: after double checking with past sources, which to be frank I should've done before posting this, I am infact a dumbass and you should ignore me as this clause has always been there... whoops.

SO CLOSE TO 40K I HAVEN'T BEEN ABLE TO DO THIS IN SO LONG EVEN WITH SUSTAINLESS

Let me preface 1 thing, I HATE running teams where Argenti is getting wheelchaired, I'm thinking of uploading the clear on Youtube as I made sure to brick M'Blade's build so he's not doing too much damage and the entire team is E0 S0, this is probably the lowest cost achievable 40k clear for him rn where he's still doing at least a solid 70% of the team damage.

Since no one's talked about it yet I thought I'd give my piece, I tried a full Holy Grail bond run and this performed really well and was REALLY fun, from my experience it mostly becomes either an SP run where Rin carries (a bit depended on you having pulled Rin, without S1 she really hasn't been doing much damage for me), Or an ER run where Saber carries, I don't have Saber either (yet) but with just the base build she does insane damage, and I just end up specking both into SP and ER at the end, it's kinda a gimmicky bond that just gives you some good side bonuses and you're basically playing an ER/SP team with specifically Saber or Rin carry (until you get Archer)

E0 S0 base investment on everyone against Banacademic Apoc boss.

Honestly quite a few of my teams struggle against this boss because it's a ridiculous damage check, Gil straight up 1 shots a phase with the most barebones team ever... this damage is surreal.

That said this isn't me saying he's amazing either, after testing him against all of the endgame as low-cost hypercarry, he certainly isn't bad, but his issues in consistency are high as a mountain.. Those ults hit hard af, but getting them once a cycle ain't enough.

Still, it's crazy that he CAN get away with only ever ulting 2 times and clearing the fight inside of those ults.

At least with Saber, as a hypercarry he definitely still is.

I have seen SO MANY people doomposting Robin SP with Gil/Saber for being an "alternate M'Blade not worth pulling for" but I literally have NO CLUE how people see it this way, from all the showcases I've seen, the skill issues have been fucking insane in terms of people properly managing saber energy and turns, but she provides EXACTLY what ALL of us have been asking for with the Sunday novaflare cope.. and I mean, I've seen some people celebrate that, but after the sheer arc we went through of doomposting and suffering there should be more of an uproar! With good gameplay this team performs exceptionally well, and gets a lot of extra mileage with just Gil E1, unfortunately it's still gonna be hard for this team to keep up a year later.. and of course, beta changes WILL happen, but as things stand.. She literally changes the team from "bricked in a few patches" to "legitimately viable meta investment"

And as a side note, looking at all the showcases... if they just made his skill clear out half interest instead of ALL, it would've been perfect.. This innate flaw with his kit will haunt him forever.

From the betas I've seen, at least going from V1 (DEFINITELY take this with a grain of salt because a lot can change). Robin is looking like the undisputed BIS Argenti teammate, initially I was planning on skipping her, but there's quite a bit to consider here.

-20% ER buff, 100% AV advance on ult

-huge ATK buff that Argenti has close to no saturation for in his kit, alongside def shred, generally just some of the best hypercarry buffs in the game

All I've been asking for since 1.5, is for 5 star Tingyun (as in energy support) for my Argenti, and I think that support is finally here.

As things stand Argenti is very weak, supports that provide personal damage over buffs are better for him thanks to that, but I have tried to run him with purely supportive characters without relying on a wheelchair for awhile, which has lead me to come to the definitive conclusion that Argenti's by and far bis support is RMC, giving you the full 50% true damage boost and action advance based on ER cycling, tribbie was never better as a buffer, her personal damage just made him clear better in PF, but even than RMC's buffs and advance always performed better for me, so as the defacto 5 star MC, Robin SP gives Argenti everything he needs, I heavily believe that even if she got nerfed significantly it would be extremely hard for her not to improve Argenti by a ton, I never believe in pulling new universal supports just because they're meta and better on a technical level, but SRobin with a team of Argenti/HuoHuo and a more freeform last support, will in my opinion will be Argenti's bis for a long time, and when one day he gets a novaflare and his personal damage is actually substantial enough to not need wheelchair damage, she will be the first in line to wanna join his team, but at the end of the day this is just a ton of speculation, all I advise for people who still believe in the Beauty.. is save for next patch just incase, and make a judgement on pulling her if you think it would be best long-term for Argenti.

This will be either extremely easy or near impossible to answer, you either just max out a flagship where you KNOW who all the final teamates will be, or gamble on a fun team with your favorite characters that entirely undermines the possibility of a Novaflare changing their bis teamates.

Argenti is my favorite character so I fear even putting him in here because honestly his E6 is so weak he might get outscaled anyways.... So lets go with my favorite gay boys (ft: car and la mancha) and make sure they always get to stay together on a team for the rest of time!

I've been very unsure of how this exactly works, in the sense of him buffing "ally targets DMG", the way it's worded I'm unsure if his buffs ONLY apply to allies and not himself, or they do apply to himself.

What's guaranteed is that if he's the sole nihility he gets the all 75% DMG increase, but does he get effected by his own 50% DMG increase, does he himself count as an ally target?

And subsequently does he benefit from his own ULT DMG boost with a second nihility?

If you're playing him with Acheron than knowing this is the difference between him having 125% DMG boost or not, which is quite massive, also potentially a big nerf if you're using him with a general nihility support like Cipher/SW, if anyone can confirm or has the numbers on how it works it would be very appreciated!

6 cycles against Flame Reaver as hypercarry giving me reasonable time to clear the mode?!?

edit: nvm it's 8 cycles missunderstood how it worked, you start with 42 cycles for starward MoC weirdly enough, thought it was 40, still good enough score

I'm a filthy casual who logs in and plays the game only every so often, I don't interact with the community, I don't even like the game that much but all that's besides the point

LIKE EVERY SINGLE TIME I LOG IN, THIS SHIT APPEARS

I than have to restart the game, and subsequently this is the longest game as far as opening time out of all the gachas I play, not even the LAUNCHER opens back up and I have to go find it, I log in 3 days in a row, happens each time, there's some hotfix or tiny update that triggers it and it pisses me off to no end!

For all the optimizations this game has, the utter consistency in patches forcing you out of the game has me losing my mind when no other game I've ever played has made me deal with something like this.

Or maybe it's just a me issue and ya'll have literally never experienced this issue before but MAN this gets so annoying I straight up just DON'T ever log in only for the sake of getting my dailies done than dipping.

Personally, I am really happy, he may be a little silly but I LOVE all the members of this team.
