it's easier than you think

for anyone wondering, it's stupid easy to upgrade the tweeters on the 3rd gens, i did mine in under an hour and the only things that came off were the A/C vents since they have the tweeter grill integrated.

I installed these Skar Audio SPX-T 1" aluminum tweeters and i didn't even need to use any hardware to mount them up 😭🙏🙏

best part, kia made the speaker connectors separate from the housing of the speakers making it super easy to reuse the stock wiring harness and connector. and when putting back the grill/ A/C vents, they went back in with no issues on fitment whatsoever 🙏🙏

VW carplay upgrade

Hey guys as the title says, i'm upgrading the head unit on my 2010 VW Golf with a "plug n play" screen head unit with carplay. i'm currently having an issue where the head unit stays on all the time and no matter where i go to i can't find a diagram for the vw radio wiring harness so i can see which wire to splice into on my adapter for the switched power when i take the key out of the ignition. my new head unit also has 2 "key" wires on the back of it, and i know you're supposed to connect them to a switched positive but i have no clue which one to use. if anyone could help me out i would really appreciate it 🙏

good reliable nissan/Z shops in Socal

Hey guys, anyone know any good reliable shops in socal (OC/LA area) that would be good with engine rebuilds and perhaps maybe on the affordable side of things? I'm looking to have my Z worked on since i'm physically disabled (3 herniated discs on my lower back due to car accident) any and all help would be greatly appreciated. thanks. I currently own a 1991 NA 2+2 for the curious ones

has anyone removed the mirror caps off a B18 sentra with the integrated turn indicators(2020-2025) i'm looking to wrap mine and i've gotten close to removing them but haven't committed yet since i feel like im gonna break them if i force them out. any help would be appreciated. i doubt anyone's gonna read this since most of the folks here don't care about working on their cars and are more so here for talk about the brand itself.
