When do I get my happy ending?

I’m so incredibly frustrated with how the last 9 months have gone with a 22w TFMR and 9w miscarriage. I can’t help my ask myself will I ever get to move on from this?

I TFMR’d for a NTD at 22w Dec 2, that baby was conceived on the first month we tried. Started TTC in Jan when my period returned after my D&E, tried for 4 cycles unsuccessfully. Started working with a fertility clinic, all my & my husbands tests came back clear with a good AMH level and follicle count. I’m 32, will be 33 in September.

Had my first IUI in April, and it was successful. Felt so blessed it worked, had ultrasounds at 6,7&8 weeks measuring right on time with a strong heartbeat. Heart stopped somewhere at 8.5 weeks, afterwards they noticed the radiologist said gestational was very small which could have indicated an issue with the baby. Managed my MMC with misoprostol at 9.5 weeks. Thankfully it did the trick, US showed no retained tissue and HCG was back to 0 within 4 weeks.

Did my second IUI earlier this month and found out it failed this morning. I told myself I wouldn’t put too much pressure on my first IUI after miscarriage not working but I’m SO devastated today. I can’t handle my emotions and cannot stop crying & feeling so helpless. It doesn’t help that my best friend and SIL who I found out were pregnant 3 weeks after my TFMR gave birth two weeks ago, and the other today, which really triggers me.

I’m so emotional about all that I’ve gone through the last 9 months and can’t help but wonder when I’ll get my rainbow baby, if ever. 😭

Did you stop taking progesterone before your blood test because you knew you weren’t pregnant?

I had a stark negative this morning at 10 DPIUI and Ive been testing out my trigger since 1 day DPIUI.
I’ve been pregnant twice before so I know that I always get a positive test by 9/10 DPO. I put in my progesterone before bed, so I’m thinking if I take a test at 12DPIUI at 9pm and it’s still negative I’ll just stop the progesterone at 12DPIUI so I don’t have to prolong my period so much.

Any advice?

10DPIUI.. negative :(

Told myself I wouldn’t put a lot of pressure on myself for my 1st IUI post miscarriage but now that I got a stark negative this morning and this IUI likely failed, I’m really sad 😭 my first IUI was successful but ended in a MMC so I had a litttttle bit of hope I’d have success on my next one but nope ☹️

CD8 Monitoring Scan

Anyone had a monitoring scan on CD8 and seen all follicles more mature by CD 10?

Doing my second IUI this month, first IUI in April was success but ended in MMC at 9 weeks. Took 5mg letrozole and had 1 follicle at 21mm, triggered CD10, IUI CD12.

Went for my monitoring scan at CD8 today. Took letrozole 7.5mg 3-7 (upped my dose for hopefully more follicles). I had 3 follicles, 12mm, 10mm and 9mm. Lining was 7.6mm. I went early today because my local clinic is closed for holiday, the next one open is an hour away. So based on today, I do have to go to the other clinic CD10.

I’m really hoping they all continue growing because my RE is really aiming for 2-3 this cycle!

Did your follicles mature faster with higher letrozole dose?

My doctor is upping my letrozole dose for my second IUI. My first IUI I had one follicle and it worked, but ended in a miscarriage. My doctor is upping my dose from 5mg to 7.5mg for my second IUI in hopes to getting 2 follicles. For my first IUI I triggered at cycle day 10, IUI on cycle day 12.

However I’m wondering if my follicles may mature faster with a higher dose? Especially since my day 10 may fall over the long weekend.

Did you do another SIS in between a miscarriage and IUI?

My first IUI in April was successful, but ended in a MMC at 8.5 a couple weeks ago. I’m doing an IUI with my next period, but wondering if I should get another SIS before. My doctor left the decision up to me but said it wasn’t necessary.

Looking for positive stories after miscarrying first IUI

Looking for some positive stories of others where their first IUI worked but ended in a loss, did you have success soon after? Really need some positivity right now😔

I had my first ever IUI on April 26 and felt so happy and blessed it worked on the first try. I had a TFMR at 22w this past December (conceived without fertility treatment) so I finally felt some happiness after a rough 6 months.

My betas were doubling, and had a great heartbeat and was measuring on time for my 6,7 and 8w2d week ultrasound. They said my gestational sac looked small on my 8w US a couple days later which prompted me to go to a boutique ultrasound place due to anxiety, which there was no heartbeat, and then later confirmed at the hospital. Took misoprostol a week ago at what would have been 9.5 weeks since I wasn’t miscarrying on my own. My HCG is already down to 130 today. Fertility clinic said I’ll have to skip a cycle, so I’m guessing my next IUI will be in August given I get my period in July.

Also to add: no known fertility issues besides having only one ovary & fallopian tube, which didn’t impact me conceiving before

First IUI turned into 8 week loss. Now what?

Looking for others to share their stories after a loss during their IUI process.

I was thrilled that my first IUI worked. Especially after a traumatic 22w TFMR this past December. Everything was going well, I had ultrasounds at 6,7, and 8 weeks and all showed appropriate growth and strong heartbeats, 160bpm on the latest one. However I got a call on Friday after my 8w2d that was on Tuesday saying the gestational sac looked a little small but they were NOT worried, but they would do another ultrasound at 9 weeks next week. My anxiety got the best of me and I went to a boutique ultrasound place that night and they couldn’t find a heartbeat. Went to emergency and they confirmed a miscarriage.

I haven’t started bleeding/cramping yet, but I’ll meet with my fertility clinic Monday. I don’t know what the best option for this is? Pills, d&c, or wait to miscarry naturally?
I just want this over with as soon as possible, with the best outcome, so I can start the IUI process again.

How long after your miscarriage could you do an IUI?
Did you have success with the subsequent IUIs?
Is there a miscarriage treatment that’s better for doing IUIs after?

Lost my rainbow baby today. I’m am so devastated.

Had a devastating TFMR at 22 weeks in December due to spina bifida. Conceived through IUI in April and was due in January and was so happy to be pregnant again. Had an ultrasound at 5,6,7 weeks and most recently a couple days ago at 8w2d. Measuring right on time and 160bpm heartbeat. Got a call today that my gestational sac was measuring a bit small but the fertility clinic said they were NOT concerned at all. However I was anxious so I went to a boutique ultrasound and they couldn’t find a heartbeat so I went to the emerg since my fertility clinic was closed for the weekend. Confirmed the miscarriage.

My husband and I were sooo happy about this pregnancy. Finally something to be happy about but here I am yet again. I am so devastated I don’t even know what to do with myself. How can I be so unlucky twice in a row? How am I supposed to get the strength to try again? I have no LC. I’m so sad ☹️

Best friend’s baby shower tomorrow

Tw: meant of sub pregnancy

Tomorrow is my best friends baby shower and Ive been sobbing all day. It’s been 5.5 months since my TFMR and I knew it would be hard, but I thought to myself if I was pregnant again by her shower I wouldn’t feel this sad. I want to celebrate her because she was the most supportive person to me during and after my TFMR and through TTC afterwards. She doesn’t know I’m pregnant yet since I’m scared to tell anyone until my ultrasound and I’m only 6 weeks tomorrow.
I’m just sad that I couldn’t be there for her like I could have if this didn’t happen. I feel like I missed out on a lot. I’m sad because I should be bringing my 7 week old baby to the shower. I’m sad because even though I’m pregnant again, I still can’t be happy because I keep convincing myself that this pregnancy will end too.

While I am in a much better place than I was months ago, it’s still so hard for me sometimes and I have such negatives feelings around pregnancy

Someone talk me off the ledge

I’m pregnant again after a 22w TFMR in December for a NTD and I’m SO worried about my betas. I did an IUI with a trigger shot so my ovulation day is fairly certain.

These are my betas:
15 DPO/DPIUI - 165
17 DPO/DPIUI - 380

They are doubling and my fertility clinics seems happy with them but I can’t help but feel worried because they seem low compared to others I see on Reddit. I just can’t help but think negatively about this pregnancy and convinced it will go wrong too ☹️

Beta Values

TW: success

Hi! So far my first IUI is a success 🥹 This is my 3rd pregnancy, no LC. PUL in 2022 (wasn’t TTC) and TFMR at 22w in Dec 2025 (planned pregnancy).

I’m incredibly anxious and can’t be happy because unfortunately I haven’t exactly had it easy when it comes to pregnancy.

I had my beta done this week, the clinic is happy but I feel like I see others with such higher beta values which makes me worry. Do these sound okay?
15 DPIUI - 165
17 DPIUI - 380

My clinic isn’t doing anymore betas and will be doing an early ultrasound at 6-ish weeks so I have another week and a half to stress about this 🫠

15 DPO Beta

Hi everyone! I am pregnant for the 3rd time (no LC) after a PUL and then a 22 week loss in December so safe to say I am ANXIOUS

I’m 15 days past IUI and my beta was 165 this morning. Is that good?!

I feel like I see people with much higher betas for 15dpo. I know the most important thing is what my number on Wednesday will be

I’m pregnant again 5 months after TFMR but incredibly anxious

Had my TFMR at 22 weeks Dec 2, and started trying again immediately after I got my period back Jan 1. Wasn’t successful for 4 months so we worked with a fertility clinic to get some testing done to make sure everything was good but was having a persistent short luteal phase (8-9 days, but was present before I got pregnant with my TFMR baby). She offered that we could do timed intercourse or IUI so we picked IUI.

My IUI was April 26, and It was successful (so far). However I’ve been obsessively testing on multiple different types pregnancy tests to see if my line gets darker. Now I’m spiraling that this will be a chemical pregnancy because it isn’t progressing like my TFMR pregnancy. I can’t help but think: why would it ever just work out for me given what’s happened to me before? I’m not sure if anyone can relate to that.

I’ve been dying to get pregnant again but now that I am I still can’t be happy because I just thinking the worst scenario.

Has anyone had good progression on Wondfo but not FRER?

Recently found out my IUI was successful but I’m so incredibly anxious due to previous late term loss.

My Wondfo progression looks good but the FRER not as great. Also, I stupidly took one this morning when the rest of mine were at 6PM. So now I’m spiraling over the lighter test this morning 😩 I also feel like it looks light for a 12 DPO test

Post of tests here

Had my first IUI and tested out my trigger. The lines were getting darker but I’m just concerned about how the lines are progressing from 10 DPO to 11 DPO today.
My beta isn’t until Monday 😩

I’m pregnant for the first time since my 22 week loss in December so I’m incredibly anxious. I had an IUI, tested out the trigger and the tests were getting darker but doesn’t seem darker today ☹️ all PM tests were taken at 6:30pm with a 3 hour hold

Should I be worried?
I don’t have my first beta until Monday
