New gym owner question: software recommendations

"For those running a gym, how did you decide which management software to use?

I’m currently comparing a few platforms for a new gym, including Glofox. At this stage I mainly need memberships, payments, scheduling, and basic member management without making things unnecessarily complicated.

Would love to hear what other owners use and what you like or dislike about your setup."

What's your actual limit before client quality drops

I'm at 22 clients right now, feels manageable

People say they handle 50+ online clients and i don't understand how

What's your real capacity and what systems let you scale without half-assing it?

What's the biggest time-waster in running your gym?

Every gym seems to have that one task that eats up way more time than it should. Have you found a tool or workflow that helped cut it down, or is it still something you deal with every week?

Always interested in learning how other owners handle it.

What's something you've changed that's made classes more enjoyable?

I'm always interested in the little changes that end up making a bigger difference than expected.

For those who coach or work in a fitness studio, has there been anything you've adjusted that noticeably improved the class experience for members?

It could be the way you welcome new people, how you structure sessions, communication outside of class, or something completely different.

I'd love to hear what's worked well for you. Sometimes the best ideas are the simple ones that aren't talked about very often.

What's one thing that keeps people coming back to your box?

Every CrossFit gym has its own personality, and I'm always interested in what makes one community stand out from another.

For coaches, owners, or longtime members:

-What do you think keeps people coming back week after week?
-Is it the programming, the coaching, the community, or something else?
-Have you made any small changes that noticeably improved member engagement?

I'd love to hear different perspectives. It's always interesting to see what creates a strong community beyond the workouts themselves.

What's one thing your members appreciate that you didn't expect?

When people first join a fitness studio, it's easy to assume they're focused on the workouts. But I've heard from a few owners that the little things often end up making the biggest impression.

I'm curious about your experience.

-What's something your members consistently compliment or appreciate?
-Was there a small change that had a bigger impact than you expected?
-If you could give another studio owner one tip for improving the member experience, what would it be?

I'd love to hear the ideas that have worked well in real-world settings. Sometimes it's the simple changes that make the biggest difference.

Dance teachers, what's your best tip for staying organized?

I've found that teaching is the easy part, it's everything before and after class that can get overwhelming.

Planning lessons, keeping track of students, managing schedules, answering messages... it all adds up over time.

I'm curious how other dance teachers stay on top of it all.

-Do you have a routine that keeps things running smoothly?
-What's one habit that's saved you the most time?
-Is there anything you wish you'd started doing earlier in your teaching career?

I'd really appreciate hearing what's worked for you. I'm always looking for practical ideas from people who teach regularly.

What's been the biggest time-saver in running your yoga studio?

Owning a yoga studio comes with a lot more behind-the-scenes work than I expected. Between managing class schedules, communicating with instructors, handling member questions, and keeping everything organized, the admin work can pile up quickly.

I'm hoping to learn from other studio owners.

What's made the biggest difference in helping you stay organized? It could be a routine, a workflow, or even a simple habit that saves you time.

I'd love to hear what has worked well for your studio and any lessons you've learned along the way
