are anime characters that are not over 18 allowed or not?

I have read the guidelines like 50th times now and even asked friends about it and I am still not sure how to understand the rules around this topic.

Are characters from animes that are not 18 in the series allowed to pe postet on patreon or not? Obviously NOT in their original context. Only as a fully aged up mature person with a clearly mature body.

Is an Endorfy Fortis 5 cooler enough for the 9850X3D?

Basically title. I have this cooler and wanna switch to a 9850x3d but my ram is a little high and I think I would have problems with a dual cooler maybe.

The build is inside a Havn BF 360 Flow case, so it has good airflow. Would this cooler be enough for it?

Könnte mir da jemand helfen oder was empfehlen?

Nachtrag: das ganze ist einem Havn BF 360 Flow verbaut also für guten airflow ist gesorgt. Gepaart mit einer 5090.

Does it make sense to switch the Mainboard to another one?

Currently I have the MAG B650 TOMAHAWK WIFI paired with a 5090 and a 7800x3d. I will switch my PC Case to another one and was thinking about also getting a new Mainboard maybe. The reason why I ask is because back when I got this Mainboard I had to get something cheap and I also didnt had the 5090 back then. This mainboard there has only Pcie 4.0 - but idk if that really matters that much...?

Was thinking of switching to something in a higher price range like X870E - does that make any sense at all? Or should I just stick to my current mainboard and only change it when I get a new CPU?

Switch from Fractal Torrent to Havn BF 360 Flow?

Anyone did this switch maybe? Or has the Havn BF 360 Flow and is super satisfied with it?

Im not unhappy with my Fractal Torrent Case, it has great temps with stock fan config. But back when I got that case, I didnt have much money so I ended up just getting the black version without glass.

I saw the Havn BF 360 Flow randomly today on a pic and it looks so beautiful in white that I fell in love with it. Seems to also have great Airflow which is most important for me.

Does it even make sense to upgrade / change anything in my current build...?

Current build: 7800x3d, MAG B650 TOMAHAWK WIFI, 2 x 16 GB ram, 5090, 850W MSI MPG, Fractal Torrent Case

So to get this right out of the way: My pc is running fine with an undervolted 5090 - I know 850W is to low but I have never run into any issue and using this config since months now.

So with this clarified I wanna explain my post... I wanted originally to upgrade my PC (new cpu, new motherboard, new case, new psu) - I was looking for a new CPU but everyone suggested me to not get a new CPU because the 7800x3d is still top tier. With this change - that I wanted to make - also wanted to get an appropriated PSU with at least 1000W and a new motherboard. I also wanted to upgrade my RAM to 2x 32GB but seeing the current prices I think I should really NOT do that...

Is there any point in getting a new Motherboard like the Msi B850 for example? Basically just a more expensive one? I would also change my PSU when I would already be on it to replace the Motherboard anyways.

My question is: Is there even any point in doing any upgrade at all...? i admit that I just like new tech and a little of FOMO here and there. So I was really considering to get some of the new 9xxx Gen from AMD but Idk if thats really just wasting money at the end of the day... I use my PC mostly for gaming, picture editing and Ai related things.. and ofc browsing, youtube, a little work here and there.

Can I even use the Steam Frame if I have an eye issue? (eye tracking)

Im not sure if this question got asked before, since its probably a niche problem that not many people have (you lucky guys!). But I have an eye condition where I can only really see (read) with one eye, its hard to explain. So I am wondering can people like me even use the Frame because of the issue that both eyes are not facing the same direction?

Keep the new 34 UW with RGB Layout or send back and wait for the Alienware 39?

Just last week I got the MSI 34 with the new RGB Panel - love that screen a lot, has everything I wanted. Idk if 39 would be to big for me, because I had the LG 45 last year and got rid of it only a few months later because it was just way to big and the curve was super annoying for me. So I am unsure what to do.

Has anyone here the 45 and switched to LG 39? Is it almost the same size or is it noticeable smaller?

Which are the brightest Oled monitors on the market right now?

Basically title. Which are the brightest Oled monitors right now? And yes I’m only talking about actual monitors NOT tv‘s. I know that Tv can get way brighter but this is not a size I personally wanna use on a Pc setup.

Deciding between QD Oled 34 UW (new RBG panel) and LG 39 5k2k UW

Im sure some people at least are stuck between these 2 options too. I need to mention that I have owned the 45 from LG in the past and it was WAY to big, I hated this screen, curve was way to aggressive and I only sit like 60cm away from the screen, so thats not an option. I sold that screen and I am currently on a 4k 27 Oled. Because of that situation I am a little concerned that the 39 will again be to big for me - even with the less aggressive curve of only 1500R. I have owned a 34 UW in the past and it was a nice screen and nice size.

I use the screen for productivity and a little gaming, web browsing, youtube, the usual. I should also mention that I have an eye issue which means I can only read properly with my right eye and can't really see much with the left eye - hard to explain. So that is also the reason I think that 34 might really be the max size for me unfortunately.

What would you guys recommend me...?

Edit: I only play Singleplayer Story Games, no MP or anything fast paced. I have a 5090 so driving 5k2k is not an issue.

Bridge Pro Daily connection issue?

Has anyone else the issue recently that the hue bridge loses the connection and the only thing helping is to unplug it and put it back in? I’m so confused because this happens a lot the last weeks. Never happened ever before. Is this a known bug?

Gaming less when you left UW and went to a 16:9 screen?

I noticed something weird today... I had my first UW in 2024 so 2 years ago, it was a 34 UW from Samsung. I remember gaming on it being great and immersive, because I had FOMO I went LG 45 5k2k in mid 2025 which was for my personal circumstances (eyes issues and sitting not far enough away) just to big, so I sold it only half a year later. Went to 32" which felt somehow to big too so I ended up with a 27 Oled which I have for half a year now.

I bought the new MSI 34 UW with the RGB stripe because im very interested in that new layout and also because its a bit brighter, which I find really nice since I dont play in the dark.

After spending few days now reading a lot about this, I realised that I gamed a lot less these days since I own the 27... I am not sure if its really related to the monitor itself or just a coincidence. I remember that I was really immersed into that 34 UW I owned and played a lot of good story games back that time.

Am I being crazy and its probably just a weird coincide or has anyone else here a similar experience?

MSI MPG 341CQRDE or LG 39 5k2k? For productivity and a little gaming / watching movies

Has anyone else stand between a decision of these 2 screens? For context Im currently on the PG27UCDM from Asus and while the screen is amazing I find myself missing some extra brightness sometimes, which is why I chose these 2 models as potential exchange for my current one. MSI has the new tandem qdoled which gets brighter and the LG has the new tandem woled which should get even brighter than the Msi.

The problem is I already had Ultrawides in the past. I started with an Samsung 34 G8 and kept that one for over a year - i really liked it. I switched to the LG 45 5k2k because of...fomo. And I regret it after a while because it was just to big for my personal use case and also because I dont sit far away from the screen. So I sold it and got the PG27UCDM because it was highly rated as being one of the best Oled screens out there.

Im scared that the 39 will be to big again - much like the LG 45 I had and that I will regret getting it. Also the high price tag (about 600€ more where I live compared to the Msi) makes it hard to justify getting it. Only thing I like about it is that the brightness seems to be awesome according to reviews (I never play in the dark, i like light).

Only thing I worry about with the MSI is the bad ppi of 110 - maybe its better because its an RGB stripe layout? Im honestly not sure.

Is there anything that gets brighter than the Asus PG27UCDM?

I own this monitor since half a year almost and its great, love it really. My only issue is that I really like to sit in a bright room which is - as we all know - not the best idea for an Oled. I find myself often being a lil annoyed that I would wish this screen would just get a tiny bit brighter. I have set it on 100% the whole time because I never sit in the dark, I just don't like it. Also I use this monitor for multiple things, I don't game THAT much anymore recently (maybe 1-2 hours a day, sometimes more sometimes less) - I use it mostly for reading, editing pictures and other text based things.

Is there anything Oled around that releases soon that will be better? I was looking at the new Tandem Oled with RGB Layout but its already reported from Asus that it will have the same brightness in SDR as the screen I own currently because they got rid completely of the white subpixel.

Im not sure anymore if Oled is really the best pick for my specific need at least for a monitor (love my LG Oled TV!) or if Mini Led would have been the better option.

Will the Studio Display XDR work on a Windows 11 PC with a 5090?

Basically title. I own a lot of stuff from Apple expect no Macbook or Mac Mini. I have always been on Windows 11 and since I game a lot I don't plan to change that tbh. Still I would really like to know if its possible to actually run the new Studio Display XDR on Windows 11 with 5k and 120hz?

I know this subreddit is for mac users, but I know that some of you guys here have a multi setup with a mac and windows PC, so I hope it is allowed here to ask for advice. I don't wanna drop a lot of money on this Display only to return it again soon after because of not getting it to work properly with my Windows PC.

Looking for best transparency mode on high end headphones

Im looking for some of the best comfortable headphones with a real good transparancy mode. My budget is around a 500€ (EU). I wanna use them for my Windows PC and also for my iPhone - so they have to be bluetooth. Most important thing for me is that they should have a really good transparency mode because I don't like being unable to hear my surroundings. So far I have on my list these headphones:

Apple Airpod Max 2 - should have one of the best transparency modes, apart from my Windows PC I only own Apple products. Price currently around 530€

Sony WH-1000XM6 - seem to have a good transparency mode too - Price currently around 350€

Bose QuietComfort Ultra Gen 2 - also showed up when I was looking for good transparency mode headphones - price currently around 330€

Has anyone experience with any of these and can recommend me something?
