So lets get some context in here. i grew up with all kind of music. at a young young age of about 6 my older brother introduced me to guitar hero. this is where my love for rock, metal and anything between it started. soon after picked up guitar purely for shits and giggles learning songs and such which engraved me into this style of music from a young age, in 2006 if i'm not wrong Muse released Black Holes and Revelations, which of course my brother introduced me to and got me hooked on Muse.

And looking back to all the bands i absolutely love: Muse sits at the top, their music to me is more like a masterpiece than just a simple song, the lyrics, Piano parts, the bass, the drums, they make it work, and beautifully, and besides the music aspect, the members i could be wrong (dont quote me on this) but these 3 lads might have the closest bond which i hope will never shatter.

Watching what is happening in other bands makes me sad, just looking over at Slipknot: people getting kicked out, leaving the band, barely any of the original members are left in the band. members passing away not all but a few like: Chester Bennington, Sam Rivers, Joey Jordison, The Rev (now im going really far back but to a certain extent to who made a big part of alot of people's favorite bands or at least mine).

But i've done enough waffling. all of this just kind of pushes Muse for me to the top, not only their music, but also the members within, the bond between them is beautiful and i feel that the Muse fans are the luckiest people ever for such an amazing band.

And like i said this might be a personal biased opinion based upon nostalgia and being introduced to this band, being met with absolutely golden vocals that make me levitate, the nasty basslines, the on point drums. which makes me confidently feel like this might be one of the safest picks for best OAT

Moral of the story, thank your brother/sister/parents/friends or whoever for maybe introducing you to this absolutely amazing band

So im working on a rather large project and we're basically in the stage that we are done with the drawings, entire elevation plans, i engineered the entire project from A to Z, and now the project developer came over to us and asked us if we could raise the construction level of the houses by 0.15cm..

and so now im looking at my drawing, nearly 400 blocks with each a separate value for elevation, which some need to be raised and some lowered in sections and some stay the same, so i'm looking for a way on how i could select the blocks that need to be changed, and raise or lower all the values by .15 without messing with the inherit values. cause if i do this manually it will take hours more or less. are there any plug-ins that could help me with this or have i been oblivious to certain possibilities within autoCAD

So lately I've been playing a lot of Darius jungle. My friend (who is a top OTP) banished me from top lane, so I'm only playing jungle and started playing Darius jungle (I also play Kayn, Lillia, and Rengar). But now I'm wondering, what are the build and runes you all run for Darius JGL? I've been running Stormsurge, Youmuu's, into Swifties, Shojin, and from there I just adapt to the enemy team. I was going to maybe try crit Darius.

Also, I am aware of many jungle matchups. I think Darius can win MOST 1v1s. Are there any junglers that I should be aware of that wipe the floor with Darius early level 1-4?

So I'm not sure about what it's called; I saw some people calling it ClickFix, and i was browsing some sites for information on topics, and this was like the 2nd link i opened on Google, and I got this captcha that told me to follow the steps of:

2. Press I
3. CTRL + V
4. Enter

Me being the curious person, I pressed Win + V to see what was copied to my clipboard, and not being the tech-savvy guy, I just decided to ignore the site and close it down and go on with my day without risking some malware.

But now fully curious, what would the said code do to my laptop. I'm guessing it's to steal info, would it already be harmful to be in one of those sites? In general nowadays it feels risky to click links people send you, but links Google gives you from the search engine, could those also be harmful besides the ClickFix Captcha?

So lately Europe opened the pits of hell with heavily humid heat. And I'm wondering, how does one go about wearing boots? basically now I'm just wearing my leather-soled boots with ankle socks/sneaker socks, which help a lot to be honest, but i also saw some Ariats with VentTEK, aka open shaft mesh panels.

besides that, shorts + boots is something that isn't on the table of options; i probably would look like the average woman at a country concert haha.

So every single year my friends and bosses started suffering in the summer, whenever i saw them they we're in pieces. And i joked about it like "haha imagine being allergic to nature dust".

The jokes caught up, i aint allergic for nothing, perfectly healthy, and the last months i started sneezing here and there.. i was like "ah its nothing" and last week it became extreme, everytime i walked outside i became a sneezing mess... guess i got the short end of the stick and my laughter caught up with me

I was talking to a colleague about music and interests and such, we both have very different music preferences; she listens to rock, country, and some amount of folk music, while on the other end, you have me: Gabber, Hardcore, and Rawstyle/Uptempo (which I don't listen to a lot, but it's there).

So totally different ends of the spectrum, and on that end as well, the listening time; she told me that she had about 30-40k listening minutes last year, whereas mine was up in the 160-170k. which does seem like A LOT, but with nearly everything I do, I have music blasting: traveling, working, eating breakfast, etc. It gives me a sense of calm (even though my music is nowhere calm). lets me focus on the tasks ahead and at times gives me a dancing break haha.

And now coming back to my question, people talk about liking music, but I think everyone uses it differently. For me it’s deeply connected to focus and movement. Other people seem to use it for emotional release, atmosphere, motivation, nostalgia, or even just silence avoidance. and some people even chose to create their own music as a form of talent expression, but I'm wondering. What place does music have in your life? what is the core reason for why you listen to music/make music. what are your experiences? do you have stories bound to certain songs? and i would honestly also love to hear about the genres, like what makes a certain genre beautiful/energetic/soothing/euphoric, etc. to you?

So I'm 23M, and basically, I'm writing this to possibly get more information if i'm in the right place. I do have to excuse myself ahead of time for my language and (hopefully) make a readable story because I know myself that i sometimes start sentences and trail off into a 4th sentence without finishing the first sentence.

Basically to put the story straight, i had 3 relationships in the past 3 years; the last one i ended in august 2025. which all 3 i ended myself. (Because I finally started noticing just genuine toxic patterns that ended up hurting me more than they were doing me good)

And i already confirmed that i was asexual a couple years back; i have no interest in anything of that sort and set those boundaries pretty clearly. and they were all fine with it; no room for discussion in that.

Now fast forward 8 months, and I'm still not in a relationship. my friend recommended me some dating apps, which managed to piss me off within 2 weeks of usage: The first woman that added me was so dry and started the conversation. Hats off for that. It was absolutely a rare occasion for something like that to happen, but after we spiraled into deeper conversations, it just was very one-sided, and she kept giving closed-ended answers, which made me ultimately just give up on that conversation. a week later some other woman added me, and we started off pretty well; the conversation hit off and wasn't boring for once, but when i tried planning a date for, like, 2 weeks later, she was like, "I'm not sure if i want to go out on a date yet; I don't know you that well yet," and internally I thought, WHAT ARE YOU ON ABOUT?? THAT'S WHAT DATES ARE FOR, TO GET TO KNOW EACHOTHER BETTER AND SEE IF IT'S A MATCH. so after that small internal breakdown i gave up on dating apps as a whole.

And when talking to colleagues about this and experiences with all of that, I was honest and said, "I honestly can't be bothered with relationships. I'm willing to put in the effort, but all I'm seeing now is pure incompetence, and i much rather focus on my career than focus on a quest to find the love of my life which might or might not exist, and maybe relationships in their whole are just not it for me." and they looked at me as if I were set ablaze right in front of them, as if i said something irrational. the most basic reply came forth, which was, "You are young; you live and learn," which i thought was genuine BS. at this point i feel like I'm searching purely for the sake of searching and to escape the mental prison that is purely built upon social expectations, rules and judgements that aren't truly mine. and to make people happy around me who think that I'm mentally ill because I'm not following the basic written story of: grow up, finding love, getting married, having children, and living a long and peaceful life.

Now, finally, coming to my question. are the people around me right? did i just turn aromantic? Am I being incompetent? Like, at this point I'm fed up with people in their whole. It feels as if people are purposely pushing my buttons for the sake of pissing me off. i'd like to hear what y'all have to say about this and if I'm genuinely in the right place for this.

So about 3 months ago i got my first pair of boots, which were more aimed for work purposes and keeping my feet dry, and then a month later i bought a pair of leather-soled boots that look a little more professional. and the time has come for a No. 3. Basically, the options are limited because of europe (hence why my previous boots were Ariats). I'm maybe looking to get some light shitkickers, boots i can wear on a night out and reenact the entire The Hangover trilogy and not be worried about my boots. i was looking at Ariat Sport boots; they seem like perfect candidates for the shitkicker/daily role to fill in. Otherwise, any other recommendations? Basically the only brands i know that ship to Europe are Ariat, Sendra and Lucchese if I'm not wrong (and, of course Cody James, but I'm staying away from those).
