What percentage of your monthly listeners on Spotify is 'Active Monthly Listeners'?
And what is a good percentage to have?
And what is a good percentage to have?
And what is a good percentage to have? Mine is about 10% consistenly over the past year.
Do I understand it correctly that this actually means that about 90% of listeners, don't 'return' for more and listen only once? That's kind of sad actually! :)
Bonus:
Is a listener counted as a active monthly listener only when 'deliberately' streaming your music from your profile or their own playlists / saves? Or can they also be counted when they listen to another user's playlist (that includes my music) multiple times that month?
Just wanted to share this with you guys for people with similar situations. Plus ask about the nervous / sleep issues, if that's happened to anyone.
Long story short:
Since multiple COVID infections I suffer from these symptoms for 2.5 years. Symptoms are persistent, daily and only fluctuating in severity:
- Heart palpitations (skipped / ectopic hearbeats called PVCs and PACs)
- Poor digestion -> Bloating - Gas - Belching combined with heartburn - Looser stools - Uncomfortable feeling in intestines
- Increased anxiety and depression
- Poor sleep quality
By far my most debilitating symptom are these daily palpitations in the form of PVCs. I hate them and they suck the soul out of me. My intestinal issues aren't nice, but pale in comparison to my heart messing around. Mental wise that is.
SIBO breath test indicated positive for Methane (but mildly so). Negative for hydrogen. I suspect H2S as well, but cannot test this in Europe unfortunately. I have all the symptoms of it as well, i.e. bad smelling gas, the nervous system issues, etc.
I tried a lot of diets, supplements, etc. Nothing touched it really.
Then came accross the famous video about Artichoke + ginger extract in a 'blend' called 'Prodigest'. Gave it a try. This is now 40 days ago and I am taking it daily.
A few days later, my PVCs heavily decreased in amount. This kept improving and this week I have even had 5 days with 0 (ZERO) PVCs on a day. This has NEVER happened to me over the last 2.5 years.
My gut is still bloated though and I now alternate between good days and bad days digestion and stool quality wise. I am still easily set off by certain foods (I suspect milk, eggs and also foods high in histamine such as fermented foods). I might have histamine intolerance or MCAS as a result of my SIBO or COVID, but that's really a matter of 'chicken or the egg'...
I do have way fewer belching and heartburn and I think my small intestine (upper abdomen) is in a better shape now.
So this supplement is definitely doing something. I am currently taking one on an empty stomach in the morning and that's it. With breakfast I take a DAO enzyme + 100 mg magnesium malate. I was already taking the other two, so the positive change is definitely from the Prodigest supplement.
----------------------
The negative:
I have this 'nervous feeling' or 'butterfly excited like' feeling in my abdomen now intermittently during the day. Nothing extreme. But when I go to bed and try to sleep, this gets worse and I feel too 'awake' to fall asleep. It takes me like 60-90 minutes to fall asleep now on average. Also wake up earlier in the morning and then have trouble continue sleeping. I was fairly certain this is because of histamine. However, my sleep + this nervous feeling certainly got worse since around the time I started taking this Prodigest supplement...
Now I certainly don't want to stop it because my heart palpitations are at an all time low. I just wonder if this supplement is doing something to me directly. Or that it is a die-off somehow. Or a 'recalibration of my nervous system' (as AI calls it...).
Anyone have (had) any similar experiences?
I currently have 6000 monthlies on Spotify. Have a few meta ads running. Posting on socials. Playlisting.
Do I understand it correctly that by paying for a service such as DistroVID, I can also put a music video on Spotify? Are there any other requirements for that?
Would this help me in any way? Did anyone here try this?
Short history:
Since COVID infection in 2023 I have daily symptoms:
- Intestinal discomfort
- Bloating
- Gas (on both ends...) - Which often smells poorly
- Usually looser stools (sometimes alternated with constipation)
- Heart palpitations (PVCs / PACs - 'harmless' ectopic heartbeats, which often coincide with worsening of intestinal symptoms)
- Worse sleep quality
- Diminished quality of life but also enjoyment of life due to the above
Prior to the SIBO breath test I did multiple microbiome stool tests. Everytime a similar picture was painted:
- Almost no more Bifido & Lacto strains
- Overgrowths of Desulfovibrio (h2s producer) and Methanobrevibacter (methane producer)
All this while I haven't been able to fix it. No diets, supplements, probiotics, etc really helped.
So I started assuming it might be SIBO, especially the h2s because of the foul smelling gas, the heart palpitations (as h2s is a nerve irritant) and my other symptoms + the fact that I have a lot of confirmed desulfovibrio in my large intestine. Unfortunately, in Europe where I am from, there is no h2s SIBO test available.
So 3 weeks ago I did a 3-hour lactulose breath test for H2 and Methane.
I attached the results. At first glance, it seems negative:
- No rise of H2 <20 PPM within 120 minutes from baseline
- No rise of CH4 of <12 PPM within 120 minutes from baseline
However:
- My baseline CH4 is already 10 and it rises to 19 eventually. According to this lab (Sibolab.de) this is a negative result. According to the 'North American definition' everything above 10 PPM at any moment during the test, is considered a positive result? If I am correct...
- A.I. thinks I might have a 'flatline' h2 result which could indicate I am actually positive in both H2 as well as H2s. The logic is that H2s producers 'eat' H2 as soon as it is produced, hence the lack of a rise of h2 in the first 2 hours, but then a 'peak' at 160 min when remains reach the large intestine.
So... I have no idea anymore. At first glance it looks negative. But it could also be positive for all 3 gasses?
Bonus info: After drinking the lactulose I quickly started to feel pretty lousy and had watery diarrhea (usually never have that) after about 60 minutes. Also bloating and belching got worse at 50-70 minutes in.
If anyone can shed some light on this and give me advice, that would be highly appreciated.
Thanks!
I have an Alfa Romeo GT 3.2 (Busso) and today I wanted to refil the windshield washer fluid. Long story short, I poured about 700ml of wiper fluid into the coolant tank. (they are right next to each other ffs and even the stuff is the same color!)
And then I took it for a 30 min spirited drive...
When I tried to spray my windows and almost nothing came out, I knew something was up... Since the overflow tank shouldn't be filled completely, I pumped about 70% of the fluid out of there. So that problem is solved.
What I guess isn't solved is that the wiper fluid and the coolant have now mixed and that mixture is in the whole system now.
How big of a deal is this? Is it necesarry to get it all flushed? Or can this be ignored?
I (40M) live with my wife (39F) and two daughters in the same house (in the Netherlands). For months they are being bitten by a mysterious source. See the pictures for the bumps they get which, to me, look like bites. And apparently they itch like crazy. Sometimes my daughters have like 20-30 of them accross their bodies and they stay on for weeks.
I however, have none of these bites. Zero. I sleep in the same bed as my wife, who does get bites.
My 3 ladies are now away for a week. No new bites for them, but also neither for me. So you could argue that my family was the 'preferred' food source for the bugs but unless they rather starve than eat me, I guess that theory can be dismissed. It also must mean that whatever is biting or 'irritating' them, must be happening in our house, garden, car or direct surroundings.
Also, there are no bugs to be seen in the house. We have moved all the carpets, matrasses, beds, sofa, closets from the wall and there is nothing to be seen. The only thing we had a lot of were this mini flies that were originating on our plants. So we have put all of our plants outside. 10 days later my family members still got new bites. And I doubt if these tiny flies could be the perpetrators of this to begin with.
Who has an idea on how to solve this mystery?
