Which Species Should Represent Each Power? (Avatar-Inspired Worldbuilding)

I'm creating an Avatar-inspired world in Melon Sandbox (ATLA, not the blue aliens 😭).

I'm assigning each element to a specific living species to form the different nations. For example, the Dragon Fruit species might represent Fire because of its appearance and association with dragons.

What species do you think would fit Fire, Ice, and Electricity, and what makes them a good match?

How do I remove my TikTok showcase?

I'm just a little embarrassed, haha... My mom is the one that buys stuff from there so I get the commission, but she hasn't used it in a while and I don't really promote the products so it's useless.

I'd rather remove it, put it back again, and remove it each time than have it display on my profile everyday.

I feel like I've hit a barrier and can't progress

Hello everyone,

I've been singing for years, but only recently started taking it seriously and learning proper technique. I've been doing warm-ups, watching vocal lessons online, and paying closer attention to how my voice works.

The problem is that I feel like I've completely stopped improving.

For context, I've been told by a few vocal teachers that I'm probably a bass because of my dark timbre, though I'm more likely a baritone or a very low tenor. That said, I'd rather not focus too much on vocal classification since I'm not comfortable sharing recordings online. (I know, very ironic.) I tend to sing mezzo-soprano and soprano parts in the songs I enjoy, usually around C4-F5.

The reason I feel stuck is that F5 doesn't feel like the end of my usable range, yet my voice consistently starts running into problems around G#5. It feels like there's another register or coordination above that point that I can't reliably access.

I've reached D#6 before in what I assume was a different register, possibly flageolet, though I'm not certain. The best way I can describe it is that it felt extremely light and airy, with noticeable chest vibrations while the resonance seemed to be located in my head. I could also connect it to my head voice when scaling down. Oddly enough, I could only access it when my voice was already fatigued, which made me stop experimenting with it because I don't want to risk damaging my voice.

At the moment, I'm focusing mainly on developing my chest voice. I find belting relatively easy, but I don't feel like I'm making any progress in extending that coordination higher. No matter how much I practice, I seem to run into the same ceiling.

Is this a normal plateau, or could I be overlooking something in my technique?

Does the mini player work for Android?

Hellooo,

I've been seeing a lot of iPhone users minimize Spotify into a small floating window on the side of their screens.

I seem to have the same Picture-in-Picture feature on Android, but Spotify doesn't minimize into a floating window for me. Instead, it only goes into the Dynamic Island/Smart Notch area (or whatever the Android equivalent is called).

It really boggles me because Picture-in-Picture works perfectly fine on other supported apps like YouTube and TikTok. Spotify seems to be the only app that refuses to open in a floating window.

Is this normal behavior for Spotify on Android?

Why is Picture-in-Picture suddenly working on my phone?

I've had Picture-in-Picture (PiP) enabled on my phone ever since I got it, both in my phone's settings and in supported apps, but it never actually worked.

A few days ago, it randomly started working. The first thing I noticed was TikTok suddenly showing a "Picture-in-Picture" option in the video menu. Not long after, PiP started working on YouTube as well.

I'm really confused about this part because:

  1. I don't have YouTube Premium.

  2. I don't live in the US, nor was my account created there.

  3. I'm not using an iPhone.

So I'm not sure what changed...

I'm currently trying to get it working on Spotify too, but no luck so far. Instead of opening a PiP window, it only minimizes into the Dynamic Island/Smart Notch feature.

At this point, I'm mostly documenting this in case it randomly decides to disappear again. 😅

Has anyone else experienced something similar?

Some bugs I experienced ever since Meta went down

Ever since Facebook and Messenger went down, I've experienced these bugs:

  1. Can't view and save image

  2. Can't save videos

  3. The information page of group chats is not loading

Whenever this issues occur, it only loads up when I turn off my internet and turn it on again.

Has anyone else been experiencing the same thing?

How do I sing with my mouth open?

Hi everyone,

The title is a little misleading, but it's the simplest way I can describe my issue.

When I sing, my mouth is barely open. I'd estimate it's only about 10-20% open most of the time, just enough to let the sound out. I also don't move my jaw very much. It only really moves when I'm pronouncing consonants that require my lips or teeth to make contact, such as P, B, M, D, and similar sounds. Other than that, everything stays relatively still, which I imagine looks a bit unusual.

The strange thing is that I've never really had any major problems because of it. I still have decent agility, clear enunciation, good projection, and what I believe is a consistently raised soft palate.

However, whenever I watch singing tutorials or seek vocal advice, one of the most common recommendations I hear is: "Open your mouth more."

That's where the problem begins.

As soon as I consciously try to sing with a larger mouth opening, it feels as though my throat starts to tighten or close up. I can open my mouth wide and maintain a raised soft palate while speaking or singing in chest voice, but once I move into anything lighter or higher, everything seems to collapse. My throat feels restricted, the sound becomes muffled, and it almost feels like I'm being choked.

I'm not sure whether this is a coordination issue, a habit I've developed over time, or simply part of the learning process.

Has anyone else experienced this? If so, how did you work through it?

My Phone Is Starting to Lag

I got my phone (ZTE Blade A75 5G) from my uncle back in February of this year. I think he had owned it for a couple of years before giving it to me, but it was freshly factory reset when I received it.

During the first few months of using it, I was a heavy gamer, and it performed surprisingly well. It could run Mobile Legends: Bang Bang at full graphics while maintaining a steady 120 Hz refresh rate and around 120 FPS, even with multiple apps such as Spotify running in the background.

However, over the past few months, I've noticed that the phone has started to lag randomly. At first, it felt like the refresh rate would occasionally drop from 120 Hz to 60 Hz. Then, the system started hanging and becoming less responsive.

The most frustrating issue, however, is that MLBB sometimes closes on its own while I'm playing. The game itself rarely lags, but the app will suddenly crash and even disappear from the Recent Apps screen as if it was never opened. What's strange is that this often happens despite the match running smoothly beforehand.

I've also never experienced any overheating issues throughout the time I've owned the phone, which makes the situation even more confusing. My usage habits haven't really changed either. I mainly use the phone for MLBB, TikTok, and YouTube.

I've already deleted unnecessary apps, and I still have more than 50 GB of free storage available. I've also optimized the phone to the best of my abilities, but I don't really know much about phones or technology in general, so I'm not sure if there's something I'm missing.

Can anyone please tell me what might be going on? I'm planning to factory reset my phone in a couple of hours, so I'd appreciate any advice before I do.

What will change if I pick a different hero?

Can anyone tell me the themes of each hero? It says that the Birthday Event's theme will vary depending on which hero you pick.

I haven't been able to open Spotify for a month

Does anybody know the reason for this? It just wouldn't load even if I have a great connection.

Error Code 304?

This is my first time experiencing this. I have already uninstalled and installed Roblox in the Play Store, but it still keeps displaying this Error Code 304. I played yesterday and this error never popped up, only this time.

Rip Yu Zhong

I was expecting to only kill Xavier, but then I realized I caught Fanny too, but then Yu Zhong accidentally entered my ult. 😭 Also, I'm kinda disappointed in why I didn't get Maniac. 😔 But Triple Kill is still good.

Side Note: Sorry for the 10 FPS and countable pixels.

Why Has It Suddenly Become Harder for Me to Sing?

Hi everyone,

I actually posted here two days ago about getting headaches while using my head voice.

At the time, it was the first singing-related headache I had ever experienced in my life.

Yesterday, I experienced a second headache, but this time something else happened as well: singing suddenly became physically more difficult.

I used to be comfortable singing in the 4th and 5th octaves and could mix up to around G#5. Now, even a C5 in a head mix causes my neck to become very tense, and my larynx shoots up extremely high.

I'm honestly really confused because I've been using my head voice since I was around seven years old. And although I've never had any formal vocal training, I've never had any issues with it before and have always been quite comfortable singing this way. I'm not sure if what I'm experiencing could be vocal inflammation, since I don't have a sore throat, vocal pain, or any noticeable discomfort. I also sing and speak relatively little, so I can't think of an obvious reason why inflammation would suddenly develop.

Has anyone experienced something similar, or have any idea what might be going on?

P.S. The palpitations I mentioned in my previous post were most likely due to consuming too much coffee. I'd also like to clarify that I'm not asking for medical advice; I'm simply confused and curious about what might be causing this.

My first time losing like this. 😔

I genuinely thought I'd never lose this way because I always check the map no matter what role I take.

This time I never bothered to check because I thought that the minions were still in the inhibitor turret and I was desperate to push because the enemies were about to respawn.

My first loss using Lesley too. 💔

Do you often get a headache after singing?

Long story short, I think I figured out how to sing in head voice with BOMB resonance without forcing it. I only sang three songs—Noel’s Lament, The Ballad of Jane Doe, and finally I Will Always Love You.

After really going all in on I Will Always Love You, I immediately got a headache. I didn’t get any sore throat or vocal pain, but it felt like my head was pounding, and I also became really nauseous. It’s been about an hour to an hour and a half now, and I still have a lingering headache and nausea, though it’s less intense than before. I’m also feeling a bit of palpitations.

Is this normal for someone who’s just starting their journey as a singer?

[PS: I’m not asking for medical advice]
