After reading through community discussions, I’ve noticed that a B.Tech is frequently cited as the standard for game development hiring. I currently hold a BCA and have an offer to pursue an MSc in Computer Science from Pondicherry University. Will this MSc actually help me break into the industry, or should I focus my efforts elsewhere? I’d appreciate any advice from those in the field.

I am looking for a room or flat to rent near Pondicherry University, ideally in Pillaichavadi, Kalapet, Auroville, or any surrounding area within a 20-minute commute. I am happy to either rent an independent place or share a flat to split expenses. Please note that the accommodation must be pet-friendly, as I have a cat.

1. Is it difficult to score a job off-campus with pondicherry university tag?

2. Is it better to join a private college in noida/banglore than to take admission here if placements are a priority (with student loan)?

Really nervous as private unis close admission by the end of this month.

I understand that a lot of this boils down to personal skills, but still there is some weight that the tag of educational institute carries.
