I had RF ablation on my greater saphenous vein 2 weeks ago and I feel like the swelling went down but is now getting worse again the past few days. Google says simultaneously that swelling past 2 days is unusual, and that swelling can last for 4 weeks. I don’t know what to think! I’m paranoid reading stories about lymphedema caused by ablation.
Why do people do this lol? Sure, I’d love to use my time and materials to mail this to a stranger in exchange for…nothing!
My husband of 14 years left us last week. I admit I had become cold and quick to annoyance after several different affairs of his, but now that he’s left I just keep crying for our children. Please give me scripture and guidance to study and pray with. I would appreciate any prayers for him to change his mind, to come to Jesus and heal whatever is in him that makes him want to look outside of the marriage, and come be a family again. Pray for our kids who are so confused and anxious now. And pray for me to truly be able to forgive so I won’t be so bitter and to remember that God has forgiven me so I am to forgive, truly forgive, others.
Sorry this will likely be all over the place. We have been married since 2013, two kids, 11 and 4. He has had multiple affairs/inappropriate relationships during the marriage but I always overlooked and never let on in front of the kids. They never saw any toxic behavior in that regard. The past few years we settled into what was basically coparenting roommates. He spent multiple days a week out of the house on his hobbies.
So I just don’t understand why you would uproot your childrens’ stability when it was clear I would tolerate any behavior. He could live like he was single anyway and still left. Why do that to your kids? Just have your cake and eat it too. Not a lot has changed, except when I start to think about things like weekend trips, their routines. This seems like exclusively damaging to the kids.
So he has been living with a friend for the past week. He has came by sometimes for about 15 minutes to talk to them before leaving again every few days. Oldest keeps asking why and he just says he’s visiting a friend, but they’re not stupid and now act very anxious and unsure when he comes back. I just don’t even know where to go from here.
I was on 1.5mg oral minoxidil for a year and after the dread shed had very little shedding. I switched to 5% topical because of cardiac symptoms, and did have a bit of a dread shed upon starting but it’s like the shedding has never stopped? I’ve been on it for several months now and still pulling a lot of hair out constantly. Do I need to use a higher concentration?

Every morning I wake up and the window in the bathroom is crawling with gnats. I got a zevo and the thing is coated after two days. It’s mostly in the bathroom though you do see the occasional one in the house during the day, probably leaving from the bathroom. I have cleaned, cleaned, everything is spotless in the bathroom. I have poured baking soda and vinegar and hot water in the drains like someone suggested. I spray the morning lot on the window with a dawn solution and wash them down the drain but they keep coming! Am I missing something? Where could they be coming from?
Can I just say, I miss when DTI was just simple, the lobby was just a basic room with a little makeup obby to the side.. we had a few new items.. no seasonal currency to worry about.. and it was fine!! op Ever since that one Halloween update they’ve been trying to outdo themselves lol. Today on the way home from work, I asked my husband if it was ok if I stopped at a store about a 20 minute drive out of the way before coming back. He responded “I have never told you you can’t spend money or go places, you’re acting like I’m horrible and controlling”
I was simply asking to see if he had plans for my usual return time, since he would never voluntarily tell me his plans. Just trying to be respectful and let him know my plans and make sure I wasn’t going to inconvenience him.
Do avoidants truly see letting someone know where you are/your plans as being controlled? Has anybody else experienced anything like this? Is me asking first instead of just doing what I want triggering somehow?
I have a buried power line that supplies my house. A few years ago a cherry pit turned into a seedling about 2 foot away from the line. I let it grow that summer without thinking about the line and I can’t believe how insanely fast this tree has grown. It’s now about 10 feet tall. I’m wondering about the roots interfering with the line. What kind of potential damage and dangers am I looking at here and how can I check? (And this is my dumb bonus question of the day- do you think proximity to this line made the tree grow so fast? Like a supercharged plant haha. I had a tomato seed grow into a monster in the same place one year! ) I hate that I have to cut this down because it’s a nice little tree!
