I don’t want to change intakes yet, but it’s really annoying undoing the 4 clips to open the airbox because they fall off the friction-fit bars they sit on half the time. My model has 30k mi so I doubt it’s a wear thing. Has anyone made better tabs that won’t fall off every time I check my filter? I have a 3D printer if there’s an STL on the offchance.

Just did a rear shim to bring my rear toe in line with the other side. The rest of my alignment will get done within a week but I couldn’t help myself and finally put the new wheels on after my springs on Sunday that I posted about. It drives great and I’m excited for the proper alignment and progress rear sway bar.

I want to strangle the Honda engineer that made the ABS sensor be the final thing holding the hub toward the suspension with 0 fucking slack in the cable (literally a half inch would’ve saved me 30+ minutes of just trying to thread the fucker back in) and half an inch of an opening for clearance to get my sausage fingers in to get it removed. Getting it back on is like being told to climb Mt. Everest naked. My neighbors might think I have someone tied up in my garage the way I was yelling. Whoever decided to put that shit on the back of the hub and then inside of the other suspension piece with nearly 0 work room, I swear to god I hope you turn to ash. Was fucking Stuart Little supposed to help me or something? No one can reach in the ways you require me to. My lawyers will be in contact for emotional damages
first two are stock/before, bronze/gold rim is waiting to be put on until after alignment in a week or so once the springs settle, final is after. we did TEIN springs, which were a 1.2in and 1.4in drop for the front/rear. we (my neighbor pretty much did everything, i swapped the grill on the front bumper but he’s a legend) had more trouble taking the car apart than with the actual new parts. learned a lot watching along, as this is the first big mod i’ve ever done. the wheel setup is in another post of mine.
test fitting the new wheels had them about a half inch sticking out, about 3 fingers from wheel to fender vs 2 for the stock rims, both post-spring. i have to worry about the alignment next but once the wheels are on after that, it will be progress rear sway bar time.

jokes aside i genuinely might try this as we are 50th in education. it might make someone laugh in the office when they deny it at least, but if it became real it would be beautiful. genuine question, has anyone gotten away using a plate design letter like this
I’ve only had wider-than-stock tires before on a different car, so I’m excited to see this once it’s done. 2016 EXL with only 30k miles and literally a perfect 1 prev. owner carfax. I wanted to future-proof myself size wise whilee staying in a tight budget and I think I’m happy with these picks. I don’t want to completely redo my suspension either (I’m sure these are famous last words.) I have time before they show though. Anyone with experience on any of these parts that has anything to note feel free to let me know! I’m sure I’ll post final pics in the next few weeks.

I was in the tower after doing a few heroic strikes, first time I’d played more than just going to the tower in years. Eververse had the wall breach emote, so I looked up a guide and started practicing for fun, eventually getting stuck in the postmaster’s wall. 3 dudes came over to me crouch spamming while I was stuck and tried to get stuck with me, and man, I can’t remember the last time I laughed because of something in game at the Tower. They ended up messaging me for KF, which I which I saw in time. They seemed really chill and like they’d been on this game constantly, not just random returners.
There was something about seeing a full roster tower with people actively LFGing via messages that really brought me back to Y1 on 360. No game has made me socialize the way that era made me, and seeing that life in this game again just, I don’t know, gave me hope? Not to mention the Xbone LFG tab was full of people too.
For a moment, and luckily quite a long one, it felt like 2015 again, and I just want to thank those guys for that if they see this. I want to grind out the final true god rolls available and eventually see about solo Aksis as that seemed insane to me back in 2017, would be a very cool achievement. 390 Crota looks kinda “easy” as a solo too. Hope this means something to someone.
i bought two of these back in 2018 for $10 each because they were literally paperweights unless you knew networking. they sat for months. they weren’t their own alexa (which is the only way they could have justified the $90 launch price) and needed an alexa to function. you’d ask it shit with the destiny app alexa had at the time and it could change gear or tell you about public events and such.
imagine my reaction when i see people paying anything more than $20 for these. i think it’s the same mold as the ghost edition ghost, but cheaper plastic. i always wanted to just make it a straight up bluetooth speaker. that all being said, i am seeing entire ghost editions for d1 complete go for $120, so why?? can anyone explain???

I’ve read the extra camera angles in the reverse cam and sometimes the passenger blindspot camera don’t transfer, or you have to run a new camera it comes with, which my ass is not doing. I’ve seen videos of some units that are just drop-in, but they weren’t clear if the blindspot camera worked still. If anyone has a 2016+ EXL with a head unit that retains all the features could you link it to me?

Things it didn’t have were any new sets of tires or new transmission fluid. Will be prying them to produce a record for, or knock off the cost for trans fluid. And check tire DOTs.
I do not know these cars well so if there’s anything I should listen or look for or need to worry about, please let me know! This is the only reasonable one I can consider based on KBB in my whole state, let alone a manual one.
