So i'm using a focusrite 18i20, recording with the xlr mic inputs, plugged in via usb-c directly into my pc. they're fairly random when they show up but its definately in the recorded tracks and not just a playback artifact.

my pc is actually a 5 year old (beefy) gaming/development laptop, i7-11800H, 64gb ram. 2tb ssd storage. nothing amazing by todays standards but not garbage either, i wouldn't have expected it to have syncing issues...so i'm wondering if this is user error rather than a tech issue.

Small potatoes but figured i'd mention it in case PGI isn't aware, but i've done this one twice in a row now for completionist reasons and i cannot get her to advance after the gate opens. she just stands around at her spawn point and the mission won't progress.

Had a thought tonight while i was recording, it would be handy as fuck to have a pedal i could use to trigger punch ins for when i'm recording live instruments on my own. Anyone do anything like this? any idea how i would set it up?

The vaunted "purchase salvage 2 & undertonnage bonus 2" mod has been obsolete since dlc8 dropped, and i was wondering if anyone has ever found an acceptable replacement? I know a couple of purchase salvage mods are going around, but what i'm really looking for is something that provides a benefit for dropping with a lighter lance than the allowed max, or something along those lines.

As is there's a penalty for a heavy drop built into the base game, but the real juice is in a light drop. I miss not having an in-game motivation for that.

OMG MAKE THEM GO AWAY IT'S TOTALLY UNNECESSARY

I hope explained that alright - basically before I knew what I was doing I recorded all my takes on separate tracks and I’m trying to clean that up. But every time I go to use the “create bus & bounce to track” trick, it turns my otherwise mono tracks into stereo tracks. I just want the raw recording data sans any fade or panning settings, so selecting “none” should skip all that but I’m still getting a stereo track output. Is there a way to work around this?

This is all new to me so any advice would be appreciated.
