incoming purdue FYE taking MA 265 before MA 261

due to some issues with my calc 2 credit being sent on time and all, i am unfortunately taking MA 265 before MA 261 in FYE. Is this bad? i did calc 2 at a CC right before coming to purdue(was a 5 week course) and so i feel that my foundation is pretty weak - i dont know if that is actually relevant though. I am trying to sign up for calc 3 during open registration but I haven't gotten any notifications from coursicle yet haha..

purdue engineering to business school transfer

Hey, I am incoming at purdue engineering but realized i am interested more in finance through a financial analyst internship i had this summer at a series A startup. Should i stay in purdue engineering and try transferring to top business schools or switch my major to finance at purdue and try transferring to top econ/business school programs. The reason why I am hesistant to switch my major at purdue is because I can still do industrial engineering which has great placement esp from Purdue because purdue's best school is engineering and their business school has kinda buns placement into high finance jobs. What should i do? Would love your opinions! I am thinking to recruit for consulting or finance positions like asset management, investment banking, etc. (lowk too stupid for IB ngl and it MIGHT be a pipe dream atp lmao)

how do we check what room assignments or arrangements we got?

I know the roommate matching process is due June 5, but I'm a little confused about how room assignments work.

When I filled out the housing form, I remember ranking preferences like double, triple, or quad (with or without AC).

Do we find roommates before assignments come out, or do Housing place us based on our preferences if we don't have a full roommate group? Is there a way to check what room type/preferences we got based on the preferences we submitted?

Just trying to figure out whether I should be looking for 1 roommate, 2 roommates, 3 roommates, etc. Thanks!

basically i stupidly applied to engineering and finance schools - prob more interested in business in general. only applied to engineering schools because i stupidly thought placements are cooked at non targets for finance. funny enough, i actually got rejected from every business school but i emailed ohio state and they said that they can change major from engineering to finance and i just have to let them know before may 1st. What do I do?

at purdue, i would do industrial engineering and i can def do okay in physics and calc and coding. i wanted to do industrial engineering because i like stats and dont like physics as much. im good at calc tho

what will give me the biggest upside?

how is ohio state for finance? is it better than texas A&M for finance? i might be able to switch my major to mays in my first year

cost doesnt really matter

I am trying to go into industrial and systems engineering. I have offers from penn state to do IE as well and im on the waitlist for UW madison and Purdue....
i am in state to texas A&M and penn state basically costs double(120k more over 4 years), do you think I should take the risk and go to tamu? or should I go to penn state?

I understand Industrial engineering is a less competitive major but I heard that you still need around a 3.5 to be competitive and I am really not interested in any other major.

Please help!!!
Thanks
