Adult Acne after IUD removal

Hi everyone!

I’ve always struggled with acne since I was about 14. I was on the birth control pill until I was 20, then switched to an IUD. This caused bad cystic acne so I went on accutane. Fast forward, I got my IUD removed in January, I’m now 27F and my acne is terrible.

The left side of my face is getting large painful pimples, the right side of my face gets fewer but lots of small blackheads. Additionally my chin is getting whiteheads.

I wash my face with La Roche Posay Effaclar morning & night and use cerave AM & PM moisturizers. I don’t know what to do, when it starts to clear two days later it’s horrible again.

Looking for any tips 😭☹️

Have no idea what my “path” is

It’s so hard finding your way in life. I am a great supporting role to those in my life, genuinely loving seeing my friends and family succeed. I ache to be my own main character and i cant figure it out.

I’ve tried e-commerce like 4 official times? Nothing worked out or scaled - which in itself is hard because a family member has a very successful e-commerce business so we are often compared or i feel pitied for those failures.

I tried life coaching, recruiting, drop-shipping… nope.

My degree and background is in mechanical engineering and my 9-5 was good, but I got complacent and don’t love engineering.

I have some TikTok presence, but no strong niche. 8k followers basically from posting rage bait so can’t really monetize that!

I’ve heard selling services is good, but not sure where to start there or what value to add.

I feel like a joke. Failing publicly time and time again hoping I figure it out but at this point I want to give up. I’m watching everyone else find their way and their strengths and I cannot wait for when it’s my turn.

Anyone else tried everything and figure it out? Would love some success stories.

Waiting to try is hard and makes me anxious

My family members all have kids, two of them recently just had babies, and I’m struggling!! My husband and I are going to start TTC in a couple of months, and I’m just spiraling that we should’ve been trying this whole time since you don’t know how long it’ll take to get pregnant.

Every pregnancy announcement just makes me long for this more and more! I know comparison is the thief of joy but being a mom is literally the only thing I want and the anticipation of waiting & not knowing how long TTC will take is so hard

Luteal Phase temps & TTC

Hey everyone!

I know that temps can’t indicate everything, I was just curious if anyone else’s luteal phase kind of jumps all over? I see so many charts of people’s temps all above baseline before their period, and mine is just… all over the place? Im trying to understand what is “normal.”

Friends who just “don’t text”

Anyone else get frustrated with friends who just don’t text and make it a personality trait?

Struggling because my SIL (and kind of friend? friends run in similar circles) is constantly going through something or big life events and I try to check in on her but don’t get replies. She always says stuff about how she just doesn’t reply because it’s too overwhelming.

At some point though, is a double, triple, quadruple text over time just not worth texting? But if there’s no texting, it’s the classic “no one is there for me”, to which I say put in more effort then?

Unsure if I’m alone in this. I don’t think it’s a typical case of “take the hint she hates me” but more she just doesn’t reply to many people? I want to show up for her and offer support, but difficult to do that when I don’t hear back.

Anyone have a good first trimester?

Hi! I’ve seen so many first trimester horror stories online about being bedridden, unable to function, etc. has anyone here had an okay first trimester? What tips do you have?

We have an upcoming trip during the 7-12 week window and I’m getting stressed!

How long did it take you to conceive?

Hi! So excited that my husband and i are finally TTC :)

I’ve been off hormonal birth control since January and have been using my Oura ring since! My cycles are regular so I’m feeling good that we’re about to start trying this cycle.

I’m curious, how long did it take you to get pregnant with Oura?

How to handle jealousy?

Hi! My husband and I are going to start TTC next month and are excited. In the meantime, we dont live in the same state as his family and his younger brother recently welcomed the first grandchild (we are not very close with his brother or his wife).

I’ve been having strange feelings of jealousy or that our child won’t be as loved once we have them, since we live farther away. I know this is unreasonable, but it’s been nagging at me. Unsure how to process it. Maybe it’s also the fact that they are younger than us or that we’re estranged so we don’t know how to act?

Has anyone felt similar? It feels irrational and very out of character for me???

Self-Critical

Does anyone else find themselves having days where you’re very self-critical? As an INFJ, I enjoy meeting new people but I am very shy if I’m meeting people for the first time not one-on-one (bigger gatherings 3+ people are HARD but I go because I know it’s good for me). Due to this, I just get so awkward! My brain turns off and I say dumb things, but don’t think it’s worth over-explaining what I meant and then I play it back and wonder why I’m like this.

Maybe this isn’t INFJ specific, but it wrecks me. Then I read into a friend saying she’s too busy, and I’m like I know it’s because I said something wrong and spiral. Anyways… let me know and maybe I’m the problem but thought I’d share 😅
