I'd d!€ in a metro city if I cannot land a remote role.

7 YOE Full-Stack Developer (JavaScript)

+ I can write, speak n code well pre-AI.

I am open to any advice you may have to offer, happy to work full time work from office jobs too in India or Abroad where AQI is green. For India, preference is remote as I cannot think of a way around.

I'm one of those people who's genuinely passionate about software development. I loved lab work during my coursework, hackathons excite me, and I understood concepts like tracing execution and writing clean code before I was even of legal drinking age. I've also had the opportunity to work at some great organizations and some Lala type orgs too.

That said, the human side of me comes with severe allergies—especially to soot and air pollution. The moment I land in most of our metro cities, I become a fish out of water. Antihistamines provide only temporary relief. Within a couple of weeks, my skin starts looking greyish, and even my SpO₂ levels drop.

Since the pandemic, I've been fortunate enough to find remote roles that pay well and allow me to live a happy hermit life in some of the remotest parts of the country, far away from the conveniences of city life, simply to stay healthy.

My current workplace is fully remote as well, but I've reached a point where I need to switch jobs to achieve a meaningful pay upgrade.

Planning to marry my partner of 6y next Year and looking to self fund it and this upgrade would help me achieve that too.

In search of a flat & flatmate,a meaningful living experience, some needs and then some wants

I'm 23M and in a strange place in life.

Objectively, things are fine. I have an income, clothes to wear, food on my plate, and a roof over my head. But am I fulfilled or happy where I am? Not really.

I moved to Bangalore 18 months ago and lived with my DINK uncle and aunt in an apartment where a random entitled man once beat up a resting dog for no reason. I'm sure most of us have seen this as this video made rounds all over whatsapp back in Jan'27. It's something that stayed with me and made me truly think....We eventually moved out due to a turn of events, my uncle found a job in the nordics, and now I'm in between PGs, looking for a 'flat and flatmate'.

Most flatmate searches seem to revolve around the usual checklist: rent, occupancy, veg/non-veg, gender, attached bath, sharing costs, etc. Those things matter, of course. But do they really define a home?

What I'm looking for is a place where people are genuinely humane, not just educated, but well-learned. A home where diversity actually thrives, where there are no visible gendered roles, where feminism isn't just a word, and where people treat each other with respect.

Most importantly, I want to live around kind people and kind neighbours. Kind to other humans, kind to the environment, kind to women, and kind to all the animals we share this planet with.

If that sounds like your home, I'd love to hear from you. Or, am I doomed to be a hermit?

If you live in a neighborhood that ticks the boxes, please help find them and I could search in these specific areas / complexes.

Anyone has switched from wegovy to mounjaro?

I'm at 1mg of wegovy and at my 12th week, but , the "effect" seems to have reduced. my endocrinologist + aesthetic medicine doctor recommended switching to mounjaro.

I'm also pre diabetic, on 37mg thyronorm for reference.

(not seeking medical advice, just what your personal experience has been)
