Hello everyone, I see many ca cs aspirants asking questions about their selection on different astrology subreddits, hence thought of making a post regarding the same topic.

Houses and the characteristics of houses that are important for checking a chart of a CA -

1. 2nd house - income and wealth

2. 5th house - upskilling and academics

3. 6th house - Competition and competitive exams

4. 10th house - career and job

5. 9th house - Luck factor, father or father figures and higher education

6. 11th house - gains and progress through the career.

Now, important planets that need to be checked :

1. Mercury - accountancy, book keeping and analytical work

2. Venus - Finance, money and commerce

3. Saturn - Discipline, hardwork and consistency

4. Rahu - unconventional and technical financial fields (impacts indirectly)

5. Sun - recognition, job satisfaction and support through authority and government.

6. Jupiter - Higher education and knowledge

Coming to the main point now, how these two things needed to be analyse together to check possibility for the said career

1. 2nd lord connected to 5th or 10th house - this connection usually shows upskilling in career leading to increase in income and career stability, but when checking for ca or ca aspirants it also means career related to income and finance related work, which also utlises your knowledge that is supported by the 5th house

2. Strong 6th house and it's connection with either 10th or 11th house - as we know the 6th house is called a dushthan but if it gets connected to 10th or 11th house then it ideally shows that success will come after stipulated struggle, also 6th house is your daily routine, when that gets connected to your 10th or 11th, you get disciplined and consistent with your studies and work, it also at the same time shows career made via competitive exams because 6th house is karak of competitive exams too.

3. Position of 9th house - this house even if is strong (the lord is well placed and it has benefic planets) even then your luck factor becomes supportive, if it gets connected to 10th or 11th , then this luck will specifically help you in your career, at the same time it also means that you might have to go for higher education or upskilling more even after ca to find your footing.

A good 9th house, also shows the blessings of the past and supportive father figures to guide in your career, hence this house should be well placed in your chart.

4. Checking ashtakvarga scores - you need to do addition of ashtakvarga scores of 2nd, 6th and 10th house (group A ) and then 2nd, 10th and 11th houses (group B)

If the score of sum of group A houses is more than group B houses then the person is more suited for job after becoming CA and if the group B houses has more weightage then such person should focus on independent practice after becoming a CA.

5. In all the above connections, there should be some involvement of either venus or mercury in any of the specified houses or atleast connected by their signs or nakshatra.

Meanwhile, a strongly placed sun shows that you can either go for independent practice or get favours from government.

A well placed saturn, especially in 6th house shows discipline and consistency, at the same time it shouldn't be debilitated or exalted because it can make a person lazy at times as I have seen in the charts of my clients.

6. Divisional charts

D2 should be analysed to check the orientation of wealth of a person

D24 should be analysed to check the prospects of higher learning, as I have seen many people tend to pursue courses like CS, CMA,CFA after becoming CA.

D10 should be analysed to check the nature of their job and success in fields, and whether they should pursue their career in India or abroad.

D60 should also be checked to tally the amsha lord and future job prospects .

In addition to the above pointers, dasha and time period,various raj yogs ,nakshatras and aspects of planets are necessary to study before giving out final prediction.

Some yogs or planetary placements in the janma kundali has the potential to make an individual recognised and respected in society and gain positive popularity in his life, some of these placements are as follows:

1. Condition of lagna in your chart -

Positive planets with supportive aspects from other benefic planets on lagna, and lagnesh too being positively placed (either in own sign, exalted or in non dushthan houses) creates a good yog for fame and popularity in the chart, it also makes an individual charming which supports his popularity. For example- Late Rajesh Khanna ji, who has Jupiter in his first house, and his lagnesh is conjucting with sun and mercury (perfect combination for his popularity).

2. 10th house situation-

Benefic planets in 10th house, especially sun gives an individual a craving for recognition and innate ability to move to top positions via his career.

Or 10th lord in own sign, with benefic planets or exalted also gives such chance.

Note - Rahu is an exception here and in Lagna, he being a malefic planet still creates a yog for fame and popularity but he will also give sudden downfall after every phase of popularity, for example- Shahrukh Khan has Rahu in his 10th, and as we see he is indeed very popular but has his own share of controversies and allegations around him, with good number of haters, neuters and fans.

3. Raj Yogs involved-

Panch mahapurush yog, Gajakesari yog, Laxmi yog and Dhan yog, if gets connected to lagna or Dharma trikon can also make a person famous, however these yog should be non afflicted and regarding how they are formed have been explained in my previous posts.

Example - Amitabh Bachan has Gajakesari yog and Lakshmi yog involving his 10th, 4th and 1st houses, which has made him not just popular but has got huge property as well some ups and downs in career due to moon in 10th.

4. Condition of your Sun and Jupiter-

Most of these yogas derive their fuel from sun, if that's afflicted or debilitated or aspected by malefics, then it might weaken your chances at attaining fame. At the same time, jupiter should be strong so that the person stays ethical and humble even after achieving success and popularity.

5. Condition of mercury and moon -

Moon creates a possibility of not just being in limelight but also, reputation and respect, hence to make sure that we are getting famous for good reasons and for being notorious then we need to have a well placed moon too. Also, mercury, because it is the planet ruling your speech and communication, for instance, you might have come across several politicians who despite being famous speak something so baseless and controversial that they get trolled and backlashed this is a result of mercury being weak.

6. Condition of 9th house-

If all the above yogs are forming with a stronger 9th house or via 9th house, then there are chances that a person will be famous but with respect to some particular field. For example- Dr Naresh Trehan is a very renowned cardiac surgeon and a big name in his field all over country, however on local levels people might not have heard about him, however this won't lessen his skills and work.

Please note, that many other things like supportive transit, divisional chart and dashas should also be studied in combination to your D1, to confirm these yogs.

Most of clients ask this favorite question to me - that what will be there spouse's profession and will their partner be rich?

First of this question has 2 dimensions-

1. Wealthy spouse

2. Professionally well earning spouse

3. Wealthy spouse-

This can mean that she/he is from an already well to do family and mainly rich due to inheritance. To check this, you need to see if any benefic planet is there in your 8th house or not .

Planets like Jupiter, Mercury and Venus give good wealth through inheritance and adjusting and understanding in laws. Also, if jupiter is there especially in female chart, then it means in laws will hold a reputed standing in society. Meanwhile sun or moon in 8th house, may give some struggle or emotional turmoil to the native's parents and to the native after marriage but good from money point of view.

On the other hand, Ketu/saturn/Rahu/Mars mean there can be some difference of opinion with the in laws, or difficulty adjusting with them. The popular TV show, Tarak Mehta Ka Oolta Cashma's Jethlal and his brother in law Sundar is actually an example of this.

2. Profession of the spouse and his/her own wealth-

Firstly, 7th house lord can should be studied to know which profession spouse might have, simple analogy is that - Mercury as Saptamesh usually gives spouse working in tech or IT sector, Mars or saturn might give uniform services spouse, Sun gives government job spouse and Venus gives either someone from artistic fields or finance.

Secondly, you need to locate the placement of your 7th house lord -

Saptamesh in 6th or 8th : one of the most hyped placements used for fear mongering is actually seen giving spouse from medical field.

To be more precise, 6th house can give someone who is either a healthcare professional or a lawyer or someone who cleared competitive exam to get into his profession.

8th house also gives a Dr but the one who is connected to critical care or ICU type job roles.

Meanwhile, saptamesh in 9th house or 5th house usually give partner from teaching,travelling or consultancy sector.

Saptamesh in 4th house can give you a partner who is into real estate ,architecture, vehicle, interior designing type sectors (as 4th house is connected to home and vehicles)

When Saptamesh is in lagna or 7th house itself,then divisional charts and aspects should be studied.

When in 2nd house, he can give a partner who is into some food related profession/business or finance.

Basically, you need to add up the characteristics of the houses with your 7th lord to come at a conclusion.

Will cover the houses part in much depth in the upcoming series, but when I get asked about this question, I personally check the d60 along with d9 and if the person is currently into their marriage hunt then I even seek help of prahsna kundali.

I see so many posts here on "how will be my partner like?" And even on everyday basis I get so many clients seek consultation to know about their future partners. Today I will share with you some insights on this, although you have to note that a single placement doesn't give an absolute predictions, we have to check the whole chart for that but here are some placements that may give insights on the type of marriage you are going to have.

1. Early marriage and relationships-

Venus or mercury in 1st, 5th, 7th and 11th house gives a comfortable placement and scope for getting into relationships, such individuals are usually attractive and has good communication abilities. If this is coming from 5th or 11th house then you can expect a 'friends to lovers' arc in your life.

2. Types of partners individual attract-

If venus is conjucting with jupiter/sun/ mercury it shows that individual has very high standards when it comes to deciding their partners, these people don't compromise on their ethics (usually not getting into hookups, casual,etc) and date people wealthier than them. At the same time if mercury is getting involved here then that love isn't a mere lust connection but a deeper companionship.

3. Chances of relationships materializing into actual marriages -

Love and relationships are ruled by 5th house, meanwhile marriage by 7th house. If there's a connection between these two in D1, D9 or D60 then there's a strong chances of a love 'marriage' . Even if not, then benefic planets in 7th house will also help. However, any connection with the 6th or 8th house, shows native will experience atleast one heartbreak before finalising with someone.

4. Knowing the background of the spouse -

If 7th house has Rahu/ketu/saturn /Mars without any benefic planet's influence then there are chances of your spouse being from different caste or culture. Any connection of the 7th house with 9th house or 12th house also shows that spouse will come far away from your birthday.

5. Family's stand on your marriage -

There are so many cases of couples coming to me for consultation because they are facing opposition from their parents and then there are people who's parents give a smooth yes. The method to find out, why this happens is through your 7th house.

First, check the d1 chart if planets like jupiter, sun or moon are present then you won't have to face major opposition in your marriage but if saturn,mars or Rahu/Ketu are present then some kind of opposition from elders of your family is possible, however don't loose hope and check your d9 too, and the 7th lord ,if it's in a positive placement then it shows that after some minor opposition the marriage will happen and they will live happily ever after.

After, this, check your d60 too.

This is how we can broadly predict an aspect but obviously we have to dig much deeper into the science, to know how will the marriage evolve, timings, if any support then from whom to expect and vice versa in case of oppositions, nature of your partner,etc. Stay tuned for more such quality posts.

I get so many questions during my consultation regarding this topic, like "will my ex comeback or they are gone completely?" "Why did the breakup happen, if they were not destined to be mine then why did they come at the first place?" "Does the person I like will reciprocate my love?"

Let's decode the answer to these questions one by one :

1. Dashas that you are going through right now and you were when you first met your ex-partner.

2. Planets in your 7th house and their nakshatras

3. Condition of lord of your 7th house and Venus as well as mercury in the chart.

4. Connection of 5th house and 11th house in the prashna kundali.

Firstly, the dasha : if you happen to meet someone during the dahsa of a malefic planet, especially Rahu, the beginning will always feel very lovey dovey but often it's just an 'illusion' and then you might realise this much later.

On the other hand, relationships ending in malefic planet's antardasha or pratyantar dasha, may cause more turmoil but they are majority of the time happenings for 'the better'.

Also, I have seen couples, who even survive their ketu antardashas peacefully, this happens when atleast one of them has a well placed mercury and moon, which means that person was very much understanding and caring.

Secondly determining if your ex will reach out to you or not, planets in the 7th house : Mercury or jupiter, or 7th house planets being in Jupiter's nakshatras especially Punarvasu.

Or the lord of 7th house and 5th house being in punarvasu shows an added possibility of either more than 2 relationships or people from past coming back to contact you.

Condition of Venus - A retrograde Venus, usually shows one sided love or some small heartbreaks before meeting the final one. The reason I said 'small' heartbreak is because, usually when the 7th house lord or Venus gets retrograde, the native doesn't show up his /her emotions when hurt and try to suck it up. At the same time, they keep hoping or trying to go back to their ex without explicitly mentioning this to anyone.

Moon and mercury in your chart - these 2 planets if they get afflicted, or debilitated then it might give trust issues to the native in the relationship or overthinking and anxiety due to their partner whenever the dasha activates the yoga. This combination sometimes also shows attachment issues, the best thing, if a person having such planetary placement can do is to meditate and not make teh relationship their entire personality.

Analysing prahsna kundali to check possibility of reconnection with a person from your past-

This is a very handy tool for me, whenever I get questions regarding reconciliation, I always confirm it via prashna kundali and that we can see if in the d1 of prashna chart there's some connection between 5th house and 11th house either by planets, nakshatras or aspects then still there remains a chance of the ex coming back.

Also, wrt why breakups happen or people who aren't meant to stay for long enter your life is due to your karmic connections from the past life. Rahu or ketu in 5th house usually indicates such connection from the past birth.

During my consultation, I get many questions from my clients whether they should pursue job or business and I felt sharing this piece of info can help many people here.

The Houses -

2nd, 6th and 10th house - This trine of houses is specifically seen for job, the 6th house is also the karak of competition which indicates how you will ace the workplace competition and then earn money (2nd house).

2nd, 10th and 11th house - This trine of houses shows the business potential for the individual, 11th house is specially for gains, progress and Profit .

First you need to calculate the ashtakvarga score of each house, and then add the trine scores, if your 2nd, 6th and 10th has more marks then the other group, then job will be suitable for you and vice versa if the 2nd, 10th and 11th house has more marks together.

Checking your planetary placements-

1. Strong sun - In trikon or in 4th or 10th house shows authority and ability to handle leadership position, usually if this person gets into a 9 to 5 job, they may not feel satisfied as they will be working under someone else and hence business is more suitable for such people or government job.

2. Connection of mars with 10th house - either mars in 10th or it's sign in 10th or mars' nakshatra in 10th, shows ambition and drive to support self employment and business. If it gets afflicted, it can still give the native a business over job ,however the progress will be slow

3. 7th house lord position- an afflicted 7th house lord or afflicted venus, shows a red flag for partnership business, on the other hand a supportive 7th house lord is a very good for partnerships. If rahu gets involved or associated with 7th house in any way, then one should strictly take a second opinion before entering any partnership or do a proper background check.

Divisional charts-

D10

1. Moon in Artha Trikon i.e 2nd, 6th and 10th house, is a very positive sign for wealth and the native will earn good in both business or job

2. Strongly placed sun in d10 often signifies a government job and a strongly placed venus on the other hand indicated career in private sector.

3)Stellium of planet in 6th housecor connection of 6th and 7th house is D10 is surprisingly a positive sign, signifying more of a job oriented person and if the stellium is in 7th house, then it's positive for partnership business.

D9

1. This is seen specially for the later part of life, and decoding the timline, especially when the person asks me questions like they want to do a transition from job to business or business to job, we have to reconfirm that through the D9 chart as well

This is just a snippet from my way to calculate the chances of business or jobs, however many more things needs to be considered like other Divisional charts , prashna kundali and dashas importantly.

Most of my consultants are competitive exams candidates who are preparing for State pcs, ssc cgl, UPSC CSE and other departmental exams. They often ask me, given the uncertainty and nature of these exams to astrologically predict if they will clear this exam or not.

Here are few combinations that I have observed in charts of successful civil servants especially group A service officers :

1. Connection between 9th house and 10th house -

Your bhagya sthan and karma sthan should get connected so that you get rewards as per the efforts you put in. Any malefic planet in 9th house means, you will get the result but will have to hold some more patience. The dispositors of these houses should be checked too. Also, if there's malefic planets in 10th house even then I have seen people becoming officers, just that they had to put in more hardwork than the crowd. Hence, success can be delayed but not denied if these 2 houses get connected.

2. Sun saturn combination - In any of the divisional chart like d9, d10 and d60 there should be atleast a hint of this combinations i.e either sun or saturn in each other's nakshatras or sign, or conjucting together , this is good from career point of view and shows a correlation between Authority and people, which is seen for civil servants.

3. Raj yogs required - Atleast one of the raj yogs like Neech Bangh, Vipreet raj yog or Gajakesari is needed. The reason is that, in these yogs the native gets success after struggle. In exams like UPSC or state pcs, struggle is something which comes naturally but these yogs make success after the struggle possible.

4. Strong 6th house - The 6th house is that of competitive exams, planets like mars or saturn or sun are good here, even if they are malefic, they give good courage and fighting spirit to the individual for the upcoming competition. However, ketu here can give inconsistency in studies but can be improved with proper remedies

5. Dharmakarmadhipati yog involving sun - This is the strongest and best combination needed to get into government job. Such person despite any odds shall become a good bureaucract.

6. Dashas and timing - Transit and supportive dashas are needed to activate the results of these yogs in your chart and so that we can get favourable results. And we can get these favourable results even in Rahu or Mars or Saturn mahadasha, we just have to analyse the suitable antardasha and pratyantar dasha.

Please note, these are some of the rules that needs to be checked in a chart for a person who wants to become a civil servant, this doesn't automatically make you a topper but aid your preparation and sometimes there might be some con disturbing the good yogs, so whole chart needs to be studied holistically to know the timing and results.

I was quite inactive on reddit since past few days, because I was stuck in some urgent work, but then I felt I should definitely write a post on one of my most asked questions which is, foreign settlement/foreign travel. I get this question frequently, through many young peeps to check if they will go to a different country and for what purpose. So let's decode this using vedic astrology :

Firstly, foreign travel can be due to study, business, marriage, pilgrimage and job, the houses which shows the following karak tatvas should be checked in connection to 12th house, 8th house and 9th house too.

Houses responsible for foreign travel :

1. 3rd house - small trips, neighbouring countries or even inter city, inter state travels (in astrology even a city away from your birthplace is considered foreign, but this is particularly shown via 3rd house)

2)7th house - connection with foreigners or foreign travel

3)9th house - Pilgrimage, good journey or foreign travel due to education.

4. 12th house - Proper foreign settlement that too showing a country change not just city change.

Planets responsible for foreign travel/settlement, if they are in 12th/9th/3rd houses or aspecting them:

1)Rahu - Shows foreign culture, foreign travel and foreign country, if rahu is in your 12th/9th/3rd house it shows changing of countries, or simply going there as a tourist or coming back and forth to native country and going to foreign country.

2)Saturn - A very good planet for foreign settlement who gives you settlement in a delayed manner (mostly after 40 and in 2nd inning of life), but once you go there he settles you comfortably.

3)Jupiter - Foreign settlement through education or due to pure 'luck'.

4. Venus - Settling in a foreign place wil give rise in comfort and lifestyle, along with increased disposable income and also in good developed countries that signify 'luxury'.

5. Mercury - Foreign travel for the sake of business, job or for media and community

6)Moon - Attachment or 'wishing' to go to a foreign country or place and also changing the environment.

7)Sun - Going to foreign for the purpose of either government work or some official trips/business trips.

8. Mars - A very good planet for foreign settlement, makes you permanently settle their via job and also quickens the settlement process.

Yogs showing foreign settlement and travel :

1. Connection of Lagna and 12th house - both the lords conjuctinh together, or exchanging signs or in each other's houses, creates a strong possibility in Settling in a different country.

2. Parivartan yog between 9th and 12th house - such a native goes to foreign country in a relatively easy manner, mostly for education purpose and foreign travel also leads to his growth in life. Luck favours the most in this case as the bhagya sthan gets connected

3)Gajakesari yog of 12th house - Happy and fulfilling journey to a foreign country, with co-operation and support from elders or some authority.

Along with this, strong and well placed lords of 12th house and 9th house is also a positive sign, along wihth favourable dasha and antardasha period.

Personally speaking, after verifying the above details I also verify using prashna kundali as well as checking the same using divisional charts too, to finally arrive at a prediction, but if you have any of these sings then that's also a very positive sign.
