Thoughts on West German list.

I was playing around with the forces builder recently trying to decide on an WG list for an casual 120pt game (most likely facing Soviets, probably T-80s more than hordes although might be T72/T55 mix) so far i've got the following setup.

Is this an capable and fun setup ? anything you would do different ?.
(side note in building this i realised you can totally get an full 100pt list all in formation XD obv no air but the Marder 2 Pzg force has everything else, pretty neat.)

Got some nice new additions today. The Z8 especially is cute and well detailed and I remember using an Tommykaira R in Gran Turismo games and now my Rexy/Roxy have another IMSA buddy finally XD.

Newest Project Done

Finished my first truly Frankenstein vehicle for Gaslands, made from bits of several different matchbox/hot Wheels 😆 .

Turned out pretty nice I think, probably an more Slime styled vehicle.

Got some nice new models for the collection this week, beautiful colours and details.

That makes 9 MiniGT now since I started collecting earlier this year, definitely into the brand now as I find it's an great balance between cost and quality at 1:64 especially and I have several more on my wishlist to pickup throughout the year xd

Unicorn Overlord ?

So i saw Unicorn Overlord is on sale right now, and I am an Fire Emblem fan (and although Fortunes weave is soon, I don't have an NS2 so that's an long ways off) and have heard that its an similar genre/style of game.

Wondering is it any good ? is the gameplay and characters fun ? how does it treat its Women characters, any Sapphic supports/romance ? and can you play as an Woman protagonist ?.

Out of curiosity, what is this worth ?

Wondering how much this might be worth were I to sell (currently debating it still), all but the CR90 are first Ed sculpts the Tantive is second Ed and the Huge ship conversion kit is unopened/unused.

They have all sadly sat unused in their plastic just on display and never got to see the table.

Gone from just Roxy to now having skelly Rexy, and 4 other neat models aswell hehe (also only paid retail for them hooray).

Took some pictures of them with some little 1/64 figures.

Going to build an proper diorama now to display them.

Thought's on Proxy's.

Wondering what peoples general opinions are on Proxy's ?,

not exactly using completely different units/infantry perse but for example something like using CC British centurion and Swedish Centurions interchangeably or Soviet/East German T-55 as T-54/T-62.

Or using infantry from one nation as another (albeit with correct bases/weapon teams etc, eg Soviet infantry as Iraqis or vice versa).

I imagine in an official tournament setting it might not fly, or rivet counters might cause an fuss, but in general as long as you have the correct unit cards/force formation etc it shouldn't matter much atleast in my opinion.

It does also carry the benefits of being cheaper to have multiple armies especially if you're an gamer on an budget xd.

Finished my first shatterpoint miniatures, started simple with some B1s "Roger Roger".

Just an few simple colours and an wash, but I think they came out alright.

Finished some Soviet forces

Finally got to finishing my Flames of war Soviets today after working on them over the last month or so.

Was challenging since it's all hand brushed and I often have to fight my health/tremors to get things done, but I think they came out alright 😄 .

They are Bagration to Berlin era late war for the most part (ignore the lone IS-7 and T-10 there XD I'm also into Clash of Steel/Checkpoint Charlie and those are just stored with the other finished Soviets xd),

I do need to get some more decals as I lost the sheet of USSR stars I had but otherwise they are complete, I even tried to free hand some late war friendly air markings on an couple IS-2/T-34-85.
