I went out for a frolf round today, no tee pads and confusing layout. The circles are wide open and pretty flat, but this seems to be an object course.
My main question is why do they stick Bergs on the tee areas? Are they stupid?

As a newer player, I wanted finally give this course a try. It's a pretty open course with forgiving pars, so it's nice to just play a relaxed round for fun.
On the back 9, it got a little less fun, all my own doing. I've been working on my RHBH form which has led to some distance gains, but may have hurt my consistency. I kept shanking shots, spending time looking for discs, and ended up losing my Quake on 17 after having it for just 8 days. I have been losing discs for the last 3 weeks, and it's demoralizing to say the least. I had trouble finding it and just gave up, wanting to finish the round and get away from the course, even if it leads to double bogeys.
Looks like I need to step away from rounds, do some field work, and work on my mental game. It's always tempting to go out and buy discs and go explore all these courses, but it's leaving me with lost discs, bad form habits, and unnecessary rage. I've also been wanting to keep up with rounds since it appears to contribute to my most recent weight loss. I'm about 320 lbs (145 kg), and I've recently reached 50 lbs (22 kg) lost over the past couple years. I've been caught up with worrying about stats rather than building consistency and good habits.
Anyways just wanted to vent and share my highs and lows since getting into the sport. If I can get my throws under control, I'll be back here with a chip on my shoulder.
Went out for a round at a park course today, and threw my Buzzz straight into a river. Luckily I was able to retrieve it without much difficulty. It took a swim on Sunday too. I love this thing, but now I'll try to keep this in the bag during water hazards. Maybe keep it off the course with a water carry?
I just played with my wife's boyfriend in MA3 at my local course, and I can't figure out a good way to make putts on these T2's. The only method I found that works is a sidearm hyzer flip on the bullseye, and even then it edges on the cage. Anyone got some advice?
