(Female pirate costume) I don’t have boots to wear, but I have these. I’m not dismissing the boot idea quite yet, but I don’t wear boots ever so I’d be spending more money than I want to buy quality boots from the get go, I don’t want to get anything cheap or tacky.
These are "kierpce,” a Polish folk leather shoe. Would they really look that out of place on a pirate costume?
Do vendors tend to sell their cresteds at the same price they list online, like their MorphMarket profile? Or do they price them lower at shows?
Is there room for negotiation with vendors? Or is it rude to even bring that up?
Do they let you handle a crested that you are considering buying, or no?
I realize each vendor may be totally different, just wondering about the general consensus.
Last time I was at Repticon like 15 years ago, the answer was yes to all of that, so curious if any of it has changed with time.

Just adopted this 3yo bonded pair of poodle sisters. They are both about 2lbs and extremely sweet. They do not have current names.
My toddler wants to name the tanner one on the left of the pic “Kelly” lol.

I don’t know what to do. We live in a camper full time and my 3.5 yr old peed all over carpet that I cannot clean with an upholstery cleaner. I tried soaking as much as I could up with towels, and dusted the area with baking soda. It’s now the next day and it smells awful. There’s nothing under the carpet it’s just literally wood so I guess it’s in the wood now.
I already hate my life living in a camper full time with a toddler and baby, and I hate that they see how upset and frustrated I am at this extremely not baby and toddler friendly lifestyle.
Any tips on how to get rid of heavy ammonia smell appreciated. Have had an air purifier running nonstop and doesn’t help with the smell.

Hi, I stated my tank about 6 weeks ago, all has been fine, plants are growing well and the water is crystal clear. I have 5 shrimp also.
I had always planned on getting a betta fish, but the water is consistently around 73-74 degrees which I read is too cold for bettas.
Is there anything I can do that does not involve buying a heater or should I just give up on getting a betta?
Tank is about 7 gal.
